I think Wisp's growing with each person she is closely envolved with. Edward is sher main support, but Rose is setting her imagination free and letting her learn that not only can she be safe with others but hat Edward can be trusted to return. Rather like Peek-a - Boo with a baby. Alice is helping her express her past through her art, and Emmett is teaching her that size is not always threatening. She is beginning to trust him. The same is true for Jasper, Esme, and Garrett. This was another milestone chapter for her and for Edward. He is beginning to deal with true separation anxiety. Marvelously done!

So I just started this story, but so far it is really great, well written and a joy to read.
I am really curious what happened to Bella (I guess we can assume, that "wisp" is her ;) ) and how she happen to be in James' Truck and the reason why.
My guess would be some kind of kidnapping or slavery (?).
That she can't speak (hopefully at the moment) or at least understands what Edwards says is another issue.
It is definetly a touching story and I can't wait to read more :)

Thank you for another winner! Peter Pan fits perfectly here and seeing Wisp with Rose is a refreshing moment of growth for both Wisp and Rose. I have a nasty feeling that Wisp began this life rather early - as a very young child in fact. Training takes time and James uttered something to that effect. I do adore this story. For all it's drama, it is so very uplifting! The reminder is there that for everyone wo is evil there are ae more people surrounding us that are compassionate and kind, trustworthy and caring. Kudos!

Oh my *wiping tears. Wisp saying her name, and then saying Rose's as Rose is talking and reading to her really got to me. I'm still trying to blink the tears from my eyes so I can type this. Meltdowns are kind of necessary from time to time. When we overcome them we do so stronger, tougher and wiser. Reading you overcame yours makes me happy, first for you, then for us. I'm enjoying your story so much and would be sad to see it left unfinished.
It was difficult to get Edward out of the house but it was a very good idea. It will help him, Wisp and Rosalie. It will be wonderful for Wisp to have someone else she can feel comfortable around and able to trust. After Rose and hers reading afternoon and with the story Rose chose, they will be close to each other. I think it's wonderfull and will be very convenient for Edward and helpful for Wisp.

I think Garret being old was a wonderful thing. He is a man, but not one who posses a threat to Wisp. He is not only a talented artist but a wise and clever guy. He knew how to reach out to Wisp amazingly, especially after what happened the night before.
Poor Edward, he is filled with so much unnecessary and unjustified guilt. He is doing an amazing job and should not have to worry about others judgment.
