I think if you tried to give up "Wisp" in the middle I favor of something else you would hear a huew and cry so loud you would need earplugs! You have made your characters so special and given them such heart! Rosalie...hurt, yet a survivor with a deeply feeling heart. Emmett...the tough cop who adores his wife and family and counts Wisp as one of them. A true gentle giant with the heart of a true cop. Jasper...the pediatrician you want to bring your own children to. Esme...perfect, maternal Esme. The greatest compliment she could have received was Wisp's desire to call her mother! Wisp, herself...damaged, sweet, strong, Wisp. You have given her heart and soul and somehow managed to make us SEE her as whole and quite perfect as she is! Thank you for all of them!! ( I have a burning desire to see Wisp discover Stitch! Now that could be interesting. Wisp knows Ohana now and her sense of empathy with Stitch would be amazing.).

The phone-talk between Wisp and Scott was quite funny. She claimed her Edward in a way, that nobody thought of. And also in generall she gets better and better. Who would have thought that she can give her Pet food and also help Edward make her own meal.
Seems like, that the last words of Wisp in the last chapter were no name, but rather a word of ownership/possession, that she heard very often at her old "home". But it shows intelligence, that she sees this as a bad thing and that she is not owned by someone.
The letter is very intersting. It might be a lead. I mean, the have the name of the Lady and so they can get, who is related to her husband and investigate further. But perhaps that is too easy, who knows.
Somehow I still don't think, that involving the media is a very good idea. Somehow I fear for Edwards and Wisps safety, as well as, that the bad guys are now warned and go into hiding and try to hurt Edward and Wisp. Who knows, what kind of sick things they have also done.
I am curious, what the police will now do and how the visit of the social worker goes. Hopefully better than the last time.
