I understand his concerns but sometimes it's like Jasper is more than a little overbearing with her. I know he wants to protect Bella all the time but things happen that you have no control over. Bella is a grown up now and he needs to start treating her that way.
Speaking of treating her like an adult, if their little talk was any indication, Jasper is going to blow his lid when he finds out that Edward has feelings for Bella too. Now Edward may think he held Jasper off this time but he didn't. I have a feeling he's going to be watching the two of them closer than ever now. Which really sucks since Bella now believes that Edward feels the same as she does. Hopefully she can heed his warning to keep things under wraps in Jasper's presence. Hmm I wonder, now that she knows, will she attempt to push their relationship to more of a romantic one...and will Edward give in and let her?
Great chapter again but it left me with so many questions are running through my head. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds. Until next time - much love to you - D

Wow, so much rage inside of everyone. It's kind of scary to think about, but it's all understandable too. I can't wait to find out what happened to make them all this way.
As far as Edward and Bella's feelings for each other, I'm actually curious to see which one cracks first. Which one is going to be the one to go for that kiss because they simply cannot resist it anymore. It's going to be something when it does finally happen.
I am really loving this story. It's captivating and I'm dying to know what's going to happen when Jasper finds out what happened with the boss. But I'm patient. Take your time dealing with RL, we'll be here when you're done. So, until next time...much love - D

James is really a scum bag, isnt' he? I'm glad she got Edward on the phone, but can he get there in time? You really know how to create suspense and lots of questions! I am so curious about what is going on with all these characters. Edward must be a lot older than Isabella, considering he has known her since she was five. And something really terrible must have happened to Isabella to make them all so protective of her. Your story is truly amazing. Ok here goes...Rose is not a friend and a world-class bitch. I love Emmett. Edward is a typical male and thinks with the wrong head. I'm not sure about Jasper because I don't know enough about him yet. On first impression, I'd say he's suffocating Bella with his overprotectiveness, but I don't know why he acts that way to know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
I guess that means I'll just have to keep reading until you tell me. :)

This chapter was truly excellent. I am just so intrigued, trying to figure out what is going on here. I keep wondering why Bella made the remark about "turning herself in". That really has me puzzled. And Edward and Emmett are so protective of her, and the comments about her security detail....there is just so much to think about. Wow, so much need and loathing...I don't really like manwhoreward but he is in so much pain, wanting her so much, that I must know what is going on, lol. Since she is so off limits to him and he is so sorry and disgusted, I am thinking she is family to him, and/or younger. Maybe somebody he should care for and protect but not lust after. Somone not related by blood but maybe his father's wife, or brother's wife. Or maybe nobody's wife/girlfriend but a precious daughter/sister/something to his best friend, or she is his step-sister, etc. That would certainly be considered forbidden, lol. His dad/step-dad would probably want to kill him but it sounded more like a jealous lover to me. I don't mind forbidden. In fact I kind of like that but I am hoping she isn't married/in love with the guy who would kill him because I am a hopeless romantic who likes to read fics with one great love of their life kind of stuff. I can't wait to see who she is to him.

I've been rather amused by everyone's theories, and how far off most of them are, but perhaps you're a bit more insightful about a few things. And I'll say this... everyone has their 'thing' about Edward, and the way he is written or portrayed. This Edward hasn't been well received by all, and I get that, even though most of the h00rs like him just fine and are anxious for more of his escapades... but just know that this is just one glimpse, and he is not a one-dimensional character. Even if what comes next doesn't keep you with him, thank you for giving it a shot.
