Well I think we all expected the explosion from Jasper. I am glad that Edward didn't fight back and I am even more happy that Emett and Sam are on Edwards side.
Now as for the chapter I am a little disspointed that it wasn't longer. I mean its a big difference from chapter 2 thru 6 when you were doing 9k words. I dont think putting two words on each line really makes up for the loss of words with your great writing.

Okay well all said and done here. Jasper is protecting her from so much. I understand that feeling, but some how she needs to grow. That growth will help her to realize her mother has dug a hole that is her own fault. She has to not let her succeed in upsetting her. Growth, takes time. Hiding is not the solution.
Edward well that is a whole other story. He has to decide to fight for her. Tell Jasper how he feels and then stand up and don't back down. If he does not love her in that way or see that he could ever then tell her be kind but be honest.
