Well, this story is supposed to follow New Moon's original as much as possible - at least that was the original plan. Then the story unfolded with a stronger Bella that fights for what she wants and there is not going to be a love triangle - regardless of what Jacob wants. There will be some more similiarities down the line to the original book, however, I think this version is more fun. ;)

Confession? I own a pair of those exact bloomers which is what inspired the idea. Just couldn't pass it up. As for the change in phrasing, tempo and lanugage...I truly feel that Carlisle is exceedingly academic, as is Edward, so when they have conversations together the speech is elevated a bit. Not to imply that they are dumbing it down for the other members of the family, but more that Carlisle is from a time period where the speech was always much more formal so it's natural for him to slip into that. And since Edward tries to emulate and follow Carlisle's exampe it just felt natural for him to slip into that style of speech when they're having mental conversations. I'm sure at the hospital that Carlisle has to adhere to a more modern day speech pattern, including modern day slang to blend in to his surroundings the same way they all do, but at home? Completely free to be themselves. Hope the change didn't throw you off. :)

It's natural for the Cullens to want to protect her, but she's showing them that even if though she's fragile compared to them...that's only physically. What's blowing their mind is that she is possibly mentally stronger than any of them. Not an easy concept for them to grasp.

I appreciate you pointing that out, because it probably does seem a bit odd that Edward doesn't show more of a reaction - even if it was just internally. However, you have to realize that he has already been beating himself up for what's he done to Bella not just since he left, but in reality since he first met her. In his mind, he agrees with everything Charlie is feeling and doesn't blame Charlie's reaction to him at all. Also, he doesn't "hear" Charlie all that well. He gets bits and pieces, but he doesn't get the full emotional onslaught the way he would've if he could hear Charlie clearly. Still, I love your noticing that detail and commenting on it. It allows me to further explain things that sometimes make complete sense in my head, but don't necessarily always translate. ;) Look forward to hearing more from you soon.

I think it will definitely shock the hell out of Rose, but I also don't think it will thaw her out right away. Bella definitely has her own plans for how to deal with Rosalie, and yes, I snickered a lot when writing out her plan and then laughed out loud when I actually to Rose's reactions. I also found your comment interesting about the typical trust the Cullens have in Alice's visions, because Rose did question her motives. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that at all as the family always just completely relies on both Alice and Edward's gifts for what they need to do as a family. So when Rose burst out with her doubt I was caught completely off guard, and yet it made perfect sense to me as well. Sorry if that all sounds a bit strange since I'm speaking about it as if I am not the one that wrote it, but the story often takes me in a completely different direction than I planned. I really hate Alice laughing at Bellas pain. It feelings like an indulgent parent laughing at a child. I guess I was thinking Bellas revenge would be more malicious like talking Laurent into changing her, hooking up with a witch or anything else that would cause real pain. Cause really what can Bella do as a human. She didn't even know where the Cullen's went. Which I guess caused Alice to get involved. I'm not going to say this right but its like Alice is upset that Edward, herself and the family hurt Bella but its cute she wants to get revenge. Curious to see what you have planned. Thanks for writing.

Hi there: I completely can understand your dislike of Alice's amusement over Bella's pain, however I feel should point out that Alice truly suffered when Bella was in pain. Those voicemails wrecked her. It was only when she got glimpses of Bella's agony turning into anger that brightened her spirit. Bella is not going to go easy on Edward or any of the Cullens, however you're correct - how much can she actually do as a human? Hopefully she will surprise you. Right now the story is 31 chapters completed, but I will admit that it's almost over at this point. I feel there is only another few chapters and an epilogue left to tell before it wraps itself up. On the bright side, however, the chapters continue to get much longer in length as more and more of the family gets involved in the story. I hope you find it a fun and entertaining journey. :) Thank you for continuing to review. I do read and respond to every single one of them and they help to inspire me to keep writing.

Well, you won't find critism from me. If I don't like reading something I just don't. I respect all the authors and am grateful they chose to share their talent in this manner. I'm no author so find it hard to criticize. I'm more likely to make suggestions.
thus far I'm really enjoying the Bella & Alice team up. I like how you validated Bellas feelings and let her be angry with Alice and not go for the easy forgiveness. Not sure I like Bella cutting herself but understand how, in her mind, it helps ease the pain.

Alice and Bella make a fantastic team, in my opinion. ;) I'm open to all aspects of constructive criticism as I feel it will only make me a better writer. I really didn't like Bella cutting herself, but it does get explained in much more detail in later chapters, especially when Carlisle finds out.
