Aww:( It's heartbreaking that Edward is so alone and unhappy.
There is NO way that Emmett is romantically interested in Bella. It just may be an agreement of convenience - she tutors and covers for him, he protects her. I mean, yeah, he's a teen so (of course) he'll take sex wherever he can get it, but Bella? In the first chapter he was so conceited and rude to the unpopular kids. He's too immature and doesn't take anything even halfway seriously.
It seems that Bella's relatively poor, orphaned (and accident-prone), which def makes her a target for bullying. Even possibly blackmail/sexual harrassment from that jackwagon Newton (yuck). Emmett may see her as a little sister figure, that needs his protection? I'm really hoping that Emmett sees Bella as someone for Edward in the future when he's gone off to college. Maybe? *fingers crossed*
If anyone can make it work, you guys can. Thank you for sharing! Love all your stories.

It was great to see how Edward fits with his group of friends. Jasper is a good pal and confidant, it seems. Rosalie and Edward interact more like siblings. Alice seems to want to matchmake her friends without really seeing the lack of attraction between them.
I was surprised that it was acceptable by Edward and Bella's parents for Emmett to spend the night with his high school girlfriend after their dinner. I could see that in college, but not in high school.
I liked that Edward wanted to have a safe sex talk with his son, but he was way too late. It felt like Emmett was schooling him. Emmett was hilarious as his word vomit kicked into overdrive and he was talking about condoms and making sure his girlfriend reached orgasm. So funny! Yeah, Edward lost that round. ;)
It was really sweet of Edward to bring flowers for his son's girlfriend when he was late to meet her. Edward and Bella's first meeting in the kitchen was definitely memorable with Edward's physical attraction to her and then Bella's fall before hitting her head on that drawer. LOL. I'm glad she was okay.
I did feel sorry for Bella being embarrassed after Edward corrected her for calling him Ed. Emmett was so immature in setting her up like that, even if the target was his dad. I'm glad he apologized to her.
The rest of the night appeared to go well. I liked that Edward offered Bella a ride home.

I'm glad Emmett's grades are improving and his dad let him play football since he loves it so much. I especially liked how Edward put Mike in his place about informing him of Emmett's performance.
Edward seems more involved and I'm glad that hasn't soured their relationship. Thanks for your warnings in the A/N. I was worried about their bond being irreparably damaged by this upcoming affair, since they only have each other.

Edward and Emmett have had a hard road to navigate with just the two of them, but I'm glad Edward shows no sign on giving up on his son. I partly blame the school too. You send that many notes home, get no response and it doesn't send up a red flag? They should have had a backup plan and contacted his father directly.
Well, Edward and Rose' situation doesn't sound promising. It's good he has a friend in Jasper.

I think that Bella is raising herself. I also think that Emmett was doing push ups with her on his back, not having sex. But that was funny. I love that she is so accident prone. And I think that Emmett is not really dating her but more protecting her. I also think that Newton has a crush on her and rather than be jailed he is giving her a hard time to get her alone in his office. As for college, I do not think she can afford it so it is all up in the air. Does Rose end up riding the Emmett train? I think Bella is afraid if Edward knows the whole truth about her so she is not completely open and she may be crushing him a little too so that just adds to her clumsiness and "fake" smile in order to settle her nerves. I like the way this story is going so far.

When the first figures come out middle of the 6 weeks the players coaches are notified if their player is failing. Then the parents by EMAIL. :-) and that is per class. I think he did the right thing in a way. When they get to be his age you are limited. He has to face what he has done. I say summer school and then study for his GED. No car no nothing extra. It is hard when they are the age to walk out. I would not send him back to high school bad for him and the kids there. Make him come up with a plan to get his GED. then he forfeits football because they won't have him until he can get in JR College and get going with good grades then he might be able to talk to them about playing ball. Might.
