This is a scene, written as a prose poem, from a larger work that I have only begun to write.  I am actually fairly new to Harry Potter fandom (I know, a late bloomer!), and I am completely new to fanfiction reading and writing, so any help/comments/reviews/love/etc. are appreciated!  (Frankly, I'm not even sure I'm posting this right...oof!)
