So, I just won the Queen of Heart's award (Judges' favorite story) for the Very Sexy Un-Birthday one-shot contest!!! My entry, As You Wish, is posted here and on fanfiction.net, so please read and enjoy (and review ;-).
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM MY STORIES
I sort of think in fairytales. Not like Tori Amos; like Disney. The thing I hate most about reading fic is the trend to make something angsty or to cause characters to behave in cringeworthy ways for no apparent reason other than shock value. That's not to say that I don't love angst, it just has to have a reason. Here's what my stories are all about, always:
- Edward will ALWAYS end up with Bella; I can't write it otherwise. Same for other canon couples.
- My Edwards may be tortured, they may suffer, they may utterly combust, but they will never be cruel. They don't cheat, they don't treat their Bellas like crap. They mess up reasonably.
- I'm a hopeless romantic, so my stories lean toward journeys of longing with happy endings. There may some darker things coming in the future, but see #1, because that stays true no matter what.
ABOUT ME
I'm one of those twi-hards who got sucked into this all-consuming world of magicness through the fantastic cheese that was the first movie. I went in expecting (and wanting) to think it absurd. I didn't. End of story ;-)
