I know this is an older story, but grief takes a while to navigate. I'm glad you found solace in writing. I myself am not sure there is anything after this life, but simple physics says mass cannot be created nor destroyed. I like to think our loved ones that leave us exist in some form of energy that surrounds us. Maybe it's the sun shining, the waves cresting at the beach or the spring flowers pushing through the earth being reborn. Regardless, she goes on living in a little piece of your heart. xoxo
