Edward Cullen, enigmatic, flirtatious, and career focused, 30 year old General surgeon, moves from NYC to the sleepy town of Port Jervis, which is a small town in upstate NY, to join his father's practice, after residency. Bella Swan, shy and independent, 23 year old surgical technologist, has lived in Port Jervis all her life. Same stuff different day, is her usual mantra. How will the arrival of the new Doctor in town change things?
This is a Edward/Bella story, which is all human, with canon couples. The story, which is centered around a hospital, is not your typical medical based drama. It takes place in the operating room, where two people from two different sides of the surgical spectrum meet. There is not only romance and drama. There will be Angst and a crap load of humor too. Plus this is rated M for language and future lemons. Please enjoy! FYI this is my first Fanfic and is not Beta'd. So I apologize a head of time for any grammatical errors that there may be. The first few chapters are short, but hold on tight, for they do get longer. This story might just surprise you. I love it and hope you all do too. Please leave a review. Turning to Edward, I felt a magnetic pull. His eyes alone wrenching me forward. Stopping myself, a foot away from him, he lightly touched the bruises that adourned my jaw and kissed my forehead, I then closed the distance, latching my arms around him. He embraced me and I buried my head into his chest. Holding me tightly to him, I had finally found the comfort that I have craved since last night.
This was when I just knew, I had fallen in love with Edward Cullen.

I dont know if you still read your reviews but i just had to let you know how AWESOME i think you are! Your story is AMAZING and im so sorry you have gotten terrible reviews. I for one can not put your story down.y husband has even fussed at me because i was reading in the theater before iron man 3 came on. Apparently i was supposed to be spending time with him lol. You write in such a way that i dont feel like im reading about twlight chatscters and i mean that as a compliment. You have made these characters your own and its brilliant. So i say fu** those that dont like it. This south carolina girl LOVES IT!
