I just discovered this series about a month ago and have really enjoyed them.  I appreciate the efforts to make it realistic, dysfunctional and gritty - it would have to be, right?  I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Riders, that was a large time jump, but hearing the kid's version of events has really helped shape the story and give us a more complete picture of what is going on in the lives of this family.  Thank you for putting up with the bullies and writing the story you wanted to write.  I hope you finish this one, I'll be checking back regularly to see if there is an update.
