I saw your comment above and I felt that I should comment. I myself have three autistic children, and to write about life with an autistic child without having one yourself is not an easy feat. Thank you for including it in your story. And for the person who rudely commented: every child with autism is completely different, every story is unique. There are also a vast number of treatment options or therapies available, and us parents of autistic children are probably the most opinionated people you'll ever meet (even though we don't all agree). We daily fight for our children and so we tend to get a bit defensive. That being said, you are doing a good job with Marie in your story. I just want to hang out with her - she's precious!
