Magie is what age again? Both her parents a e there for her whether they're divorced or not.
I have no sympothy for her, she acted kike a brat.
Guess she dont love her dad as she claimed she did.
If it wasn't for her selfish actions she wouldnt of found out that secret.
Surely I don't want to know my parents dirty secrets (if they have any). She brought it on hrrsekf eith the liesbsgaimst her DAD not bella her DAD!

Maggie is sixteen.  And yes, she did act like a brat.  Unfortunately at that age you can't always see what impact your actions have.  But I think you'll like the next chapter.  It's EPOV and you'll get to see Edward dealing with the fallout of what happened.  Thanks for the review!

Well smart move there charlie boy lol. If Bella is the "adult" they claim to be, why are they lecturing her. Fair enough give advice but telling her "they feel its not right".

Yeah, unfortunately Charlie wasn't really thinking straight.  Renee's concerns and the way she expressed them were valid.  Charlie's approach was a disaster.  Glad you liked the chapter.

You know from the Twilight books I always thought Rènee was not a decent parent. Yeah the "love" is there. But having a child take care of house at the age of 10.

I never like a Bella that keeps the kids from Edward. That's such a horrible thing to do. He may have moved on from YOU but does that mean you punish him by missing the birth growing up etc.

This is one of the most stupid Edwards I've come across. Now I don't even want Bella to stop the wedding.
He is selfish, point blank. Went to the 1st woman and declared his love (seems he gets that feeling so easily) and expects his family to drop Bella for his new chick.
I want a Bella that will kick him to the curb. Make him work for forgiveness. Because all I'm seeing is your whole relationship was lies if he moved on so quick (emotionally and sexually) while your still being faithful in a sense.
No he doesn't deserve you.
Lol sorry for my Dr. Phil moment, but these things get to me.

Im loving this story. But why is edward always portrayed as a push over?
Rose acting all caring just erked me because #1 Bella can make her own choices #2what Black did has nothing to do with Edward.
Emmett would of never stepped foot in my house again, brother or not. And the fact Edward laughed it off. Then Rose oking it?
I know its fiction but the Edward character is sometimes too much of agentleman in my book.
On a positive note loving Bella and Bree, such a touching sweet story.

I'm kind of between emotions with this chapter.
On one habd, I'm glad she has realised talking to someone doesn't mean your certifiable.
On the other, can't a woman apologise without crying? Now because of her crying Edward who end up doing it all. She needs to apologise besides 'I'm sorry' he deserves better than that.

Author's Response: You're right about that. He'll suffer some more (because I felt he had to), and he'll understand more where she's coming from.

cqn I ask why you feel he needa to suffer? Moat authors put so much on the male character's like they aren't human and can read minds to solve problems and possess no have feelings.
I don't get why a guy who lost 'his' child too and feel he failed his wife needs to 'suffer' to understand the same pain his wife is feeling.

And unless Edward is seen with another woman also, I don't get how it's fair Bella having jake around. I'm sure Edward would then think she cheated, any hurt person would. Right?

Anyway, awaiting the next chapter. Eagerly.

Author's Response: The response about me feeling the need for him to suffer comes from the place of, he really shouldn't have left her. In reality, he should have stayed by her side, if he's as devoted to his vows as it seems his character would be. On the other side of that coin, it was really freaking tough for him, too. He didn't know what to do, he was at a loss. He thought she would be happier without him, but that doesn't make him right. I don't want to give anything away with Jake, except I will say their relationship is very canon.

Charlie is still her grandson. So how is it good bye? Also, she's allowed to feel hurt, Carlilse was a snake for what he did.
So he gets no pass from me.
