For anyone studying Germany in the 1930's-1940's, this read should be textbook because you bring their state then to life! From Aro as a "perfect", leader, to a master race he was trying to birth, to the feeling of hoplessness against a system that will destroy you and all you love if you are found out! Stunning! A have a feeling that Edward is about to become a member of the resistance. I also have a feeling that Carlisle has been working in that area for some time. A little voice in the back of my mind keeps asking the question, "Are the children born once artificial insemination was used really Aro's? Is Edward? Is he keeping his silence to allow everyone else involved to remain clear of any question of guilt because of their innocent naivte? If questioned then, EvERYONE would have the air of complete innocence. See, you have my mind working overtime! I love it!

I quickly exited my side and softly pulled Bella to me. I felt her tense slightly and mentally slapped my head for my brainless move. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to startle you. Is it ok if I hold you close? I just want to make sure you’re alright.”
Bella bit down on her bottom lip and nodded. “I’m sorry. I promise it’s ok, I’m just not use to being close to someone. It startled me. It’s ok.”
I nodded and pulled her along to the lobby to wait for my siblings to get here. They arrived shortly and we all ventured into the ballroom where everything was taking place. Bella slowed down and paused. I turned to her and took both of her hands in mine. I noticed they were cold. “Are you ok?”

Finally she had finished her nightly rituals and climbed in bed sighing. I listened steadily to her and her heart rate dropped indicating she was asleep quickly. I went to her room and walked to her in wonder. In sleep she looked so much more at peace than she did when awake. The worries of the day no longer causing her jaw to clench. As I looked though the tension was diminished but not gone.
My angel’s brow was not smooth but slightly furrowed. I tried to resist, but I found my fingers reaching out, seemingly of their own accord, to caress her brow hoping to smooth out the tension. I breathed out a breath I hadn’t been aware of holding. As I touched her the connection I felt to this diminutive human girl was again complete. Now my brow furrowed in confusion as to why this human girl affected me so. Slowly the tension seemed to ease from her as I continued to softly caress her.

Why do I keep imagining aCullen or two following her in secret? As for your question, Lemons would be nice. Done with care, it could be the thing that helps Bella shift her belief system around. Thank you soooooo much. Seriously I love hearing that you can feel all the emotions that are going on, because there are a LOT of them! The end was heart breaking but necessary, they both need to understand how badly they need each other and this separation will show them both that. I agree that tasteful lemons int he right place are good, I just wanted to get reader's opinion to make sure we were on the same page.

This si the one area where EPOV falls HUGELY short. Having a story from only one POV always leaves holes, as we don't know exactly what is going on or what others are thinking. Since Edward stalks Bella we do get to see a lot of what she does when not with Edward but we don't know her thoughts.
BUT her therapy will be difficult. i can't show it all, I can't even show most of it. But will see progress and I will make a point of having her talk to Edward about things. many people have expressed interest in seeing her therapy so I will try to show as much as I can!

Then decide what you want: romantic? That's easy, sensual,slow and very, very gentle. Passionate? That's impulsive and a bit rough and steamy. Nothing is fast enough. Choreograph it in your mind and then write it. If it changes directions and takes off in a way you hadn't planned on, I say follow that instinct. You'll be great, don't worry!

You've captured the nerves and over excitement of the days right before a wedding to a tee. Nice pickup on the witnesses in the bedchamber, by the way! Barbaric! It was worse about 300 years earlier when the "bedding" was not hidden behind curtains at all and watched by witnesses from both families sides. The bloodied sheets would then be hung out the bedchamber window as proof for all to see. This practic was for all upper class people too! Not just the heir to the throne. I seriously don't think I could have hacked that!

I wrote a very fun scene earlier this week of the newlyweds cleaning up ont he boat after a long dusty carriage ride to the coast from Segovia. LOL.
