I have really enjoyed this story. Just one thing in this chapter bugged me: Bree should have been at the adoption hearing. I worked in adoptions for years and the child was always present when the adoption was finalized.
Great story with a sweet family. It had a good theme too: more people should be willing to get tested and donate bone marrow!

First, I have no preference in your posting schedule. Teasers are good, but not if doing them takes you away from writing more!!Second, responses to reviews are great and appreciated, but again, not necessary if that takes away from your writing time. Are you seeing a pattern? I like to read and I'm more interested in moving the story along and discovering more about your characters than all the extra stuff. However, I like teasers and responses if you need a break from chapter writing. Nice to know the Olsens are sweet because actually, all the media stuff makes them seems pretty weird.

I think in part you are seeing him as the Mr. Grey we all know from 50 Shades but this Mr. Grey is a pre Ana version. Remember he had a very dark past. This explores it.

Aww, thanks. Originally there was a week or two between updates, so those cliffhangers were really terrible. Actually, some advise writers to add in cliffhangers at the ends of chapters, to keep readers interested. This is especially devious with fan fiction posted as a serial, where readers have to wait for resolution. I think it's too much like those old TV shows where a character was left in a bad spot, so people would tune in to see what happened. The resolutions were often lame, so they could get on with the new episode. Unless a writer shows early on that they're willing to kill or maim main characters, it's pretty safe to assume the bad stuff will be avoided. I have mixed feelings on this. I think my readers would be upset to come so far with the story, and have me turn evil and kill a beloved character. But I do love to allow reality to play a part in the story. Some actions have tough consequences, and avoiding them is unrealistic.

Thanks. That I've made you feel for these characters is a compliment. This is why I write. Bella does make a cool vamp, even without challenging Emmett to a rock smashing contest.
As to the end, well, that will give me a chance to write or post something new. I always look forward to a new project, like a new house or a new car. Tapping into my imagination in a different way is so much fun!

Vampires and religion seem like they belong together to me. There are so many supernatural things in the Bible, I can't imagine writing a vampire story without some references to religion. I think the difference between my Edward and Meyer's Edward, is that a hundred years ago, it was possible to be religious without ever owning or reading a Bible. Since Edward was from Chicago, I imagine he was Catholic. The priests had all the authority, and he would have heard many of the well-known Bible stories. But there's a lot in the Bible that isn't typically preached. It would be easy to get a lop-sided view of God, and never question. In my story, he's had some incentive to question and really examine his beliefs.
