Really hard for anyone to go through something like that. There is something that Ana said that is bothering me. I don't know if you have ever lost a child, but it is one of the worst things anyone can say to you. "it was God's plan" or "things just happen the way they are supposed to". I'm not offended because I've heard even worse than that. Just a heads up. Good chapter though.

I had Ana think it to herself, not someone else say it to her. That would be condescending. I think she was grasping at trying to find a reason for it, when there isn't one, and she knows it. She did say that it doesn't help. I would never have someone else trivialize it by having someone say it to her. I'm sorry if it offended. I'm on the same page with you.
