Hmmm... what do you want to know about me? Let's see,
I'm 31 years old and live in Baltimore MD, aka MobTown, aka Charm City. I moved here 5 years ago for a job and have really grown to love this dirty blue collar town. The only downsides are the high crime rate, the lack of state parks within 20 minutes drive from my house, and oh yeah, Johns Hopkins University undergrads who live in my neighborhood and make my life difficult. (Great place for graduate studies, or if you are going into music at Peabody Conservatory, but for the general undergrad experience, I prefer my small liberal arts school where we were expected to Think Independently and apply knowledge, not regurgitate bullshit for an exam.)
I work in molecular biology, doing research. My lab focuses on Retinoblastoma, a pediatric eye cancer. I really am a mad scientista!
I got turned onto this site and I adore reading all the stuff out there. Some of the writers here are really talented. However, it is my personal pet peeve that people don't use proper english and constantly misuse "your and you're; there, their, and they're; affect and effect," among many others. I'm more than happy to read for people and help work out the typos anytime. Just message me and we'll work it out.
I recently started writing my own story with a co-writer, Pheonix1855, and a side shot to the original story: Obsessed and Victims of Rage. Come check us out, I'm now totally addicted to reviews and it's made me review so much more than I ever used to.
I'm in an 9 year LTR with a great guy who puts up with all my shit, as well as all the hours I spend reading other people's work. I have a completely cracked sense of humor and absolutely no filter. It gets me in trouble but seems to amuse people.

Bella is coming from a bad marriage, and memories that haunt her. After recieving her Master's degree in Psychology, she begins to embrace her submissive nature. When she mets Edward she is drawn to his Dominating character. Can Edward help her to get over the pain from her past, and find peace at his feet.

Love their evening, and Edward was pretty awesome through it all, but the last few lines really change the lasting impression of the chapter. We're taken from their joint joy in what they done together back into the intrigue and wondering if Bella was drugged and raped by more than just James. I have to hope that's not the case and that James is just talking out of his ass, but I'm left wondering.
I'm really glad Edward confronted Alice, and that he's taking a stand to support Bella and not have her treated the same way Jane has been all these years by Esme. Even though it seems Esme is having a change of heart recently, it's good of Edward to protect Bella from what could turn into 3 decades of treatment as a sub-human by his sister. Truthfully, Alice seems like such a judgemental person in this fic, even as she profits off the people she judges. I have to wonder if she's just one of those people who's always done as she was told she should by society but it's not made her happy. She just seems to me a lot like the judgemental folks who constantly question my own decisions to live outside the constraints of marriage and kids, but are on their second or third marriage with multiple kids, but they aren't happy. Just my own impressions. (BTW, I bear no ill will for marriage or people having kids, I just think they should really want to take those steps with their partner, for a reason other than "this is what you do when you get to be this age...")

It does make me feel bad for Jess. She's been a pawn in all this, in a nasty way. I feel part of it ofte comes down to the difference between the sexes and how we feel about sex. Edward was clearly just looking for a playmate when he was with Jess, and though he may have told her that quite clearly, women often hear what they want to and think things will change. I'm sure this will help other people understand her a bit better.

Yup, I'm still hating on Alice. She clearly has no idea what BDSM is really about and she's utterly insulting to the practitioners of it, off whom she profits. Ridiculous.
I do agree with your opinion about the link between your Alice and Stephenie Meyer's character. Personally, I think it may take Jasper stepping in to mediate between brother and sister to fix this. He can see both sides now, I think, since he's come around. I think Alice may just be so used to getting everything she wants that she can't understand someone else taking a higher priority in her "friends'" lives than she does.
Just my opinion.

I have to say, reactions like Alice's are one of the reasons I'm not married to the man I've been with for 10 years. So often the wedding gets taken over and is no longer about the couple getting married. It becomes a circus about keeping everyone else happy, and that sucks. BTW, I watch porn all the time! And I have a live-in boyfriend too. Pron is fun, but not where Bella should go for any kind of realistic education. Porn is kabuki sex, all nice and clean and dramatized and fake. Real sex is silly, and sometimes awkward, and messy and fun, as I'm sure you know. I am really glad she's not wanting to do it on prom night though. So cliche!

Hmm... I kind of wondered about whether that was Rose's problem. Rough. Personally, I hope she gives it up for adoption rather than try to keep it. They could do an open adoption, wherein the child would have some contact with her, and would probably understand why it was given up. But I've seen a lot of people ripped apart trying to care for an unplanned baby they can't support, and I don't think that's fair to the child or the parent. Just my $0.02.
I am glad Bella finally talked to Edward. She should go see a gyno though, as any woman over 18 should, especially one who is sexually active. It's a simple health thing.
