I suspect that Christian has spoken with Flynn and has expressed his disappointment in Ana and sought help with reconciling his sense of betrayal with his need to learn to forgive Ana. That isn't something he's ever really had to do before. Anyone else he can just remove from his life without regret but he knows he doesn't want to lose Ana.
Looks like both C and A have an opportunity to learn and grow. Wish they'd get to it!

Clearly Christian needs to do more work re: his ability to handle emotions. Paging Dr. Flynn!! Fifty has always been manipulative and controlling but never really cruel to Ana. Withholding affection and conversation from Ana and talking to her the way he has lately is treating her in the way that he might have treated his former submissivies.
If I didn't think that Christian would win the war I'd like to see Ana pack his shit and send him off to a hotel. But Christian would probably withdraw further and there might not be any coming home after that.
Time to grow up, Chrisitian!

Well, this is the Christian we all know but don't necessarily love. He seems to manage quite well keeping himself from knowing the full truth about his past so perhaps it would be best for Ana to just leave it alone. Maybe the pain of the truth isn't more than he can deal with but why put everyone thru the hell if it isn't necessary. It's not likely that he'll leave Ana and the kids for good but is she really willing to take that chance?

I'm so happy to see Christian finally return home. Did his mother call him and scold him? I'm thinking after lunch she phoned him and he wrapped up and high tailed it back to Seattle.
You wrote in your notes that there would be lemons in the next chapter. What are lemons? I've heard that word used in relation to writings before but have never seen it defined. Thanks again for the continuing great story.

I had to look it up on Urban Dictionary when I first started. Lemons are sex scenes. They will be having make up sex. Why they are called lemons, I have no idea. I hope you are over 18.

I hope that Lorna gives up parental rights and Tommy joins the Grey clan. Or at the very least that Ana keeps him safe while his future is determined by the CA courts....or he reaches 18 years of age!! It's destiny that Christian should be directly involved with a child with a background like his. Christian does a lot of charitable giving but that's indirected support....this would mean so much more.
The story is good...well paced and interesting with the several things going on with the kid and the merger. Thank you !!
