I was very proud of Esme in this chapter. She has realized what a loon Carlisle was and has been for a very long time, and moved out and is seeking therapy to help put her life back together. With this major change, I can really see her and Edward trying to mend fences.

Anyway, I'm back and here it goes ;). I'm glad you could forgive Esme or at least see where she's coming from. Understandably, Edward has a bit of a harder time, but he'll come around. I understand that Bella is effed up, but she needs to lean on somebody; have somebody in her corner, and Edward is the guy who not only is volunteering, but I think at this point in the story, he's the only one she really opens up to. She needs him, and pushing him away isn't the right thing to do.

Oh, I believe Rosalie is desperate and a bitch. It's okay for her to blame Bella, who is an innocent bystander in all this, then for her to take a stand and tell her family the truth. She's gotta know that the truth is going to come out eventually. At this point, I'd rather Bella just fill Edward in on everything now and save herself any future misery.
And as for Jacob, Bella should have said something to campus security about him, instead of just letting him walk away after threatening her like he did. She needs to fill Edward in on that, too.
When an amazing opportunity finally comes up to have everything they want, will they take it? Can they remain professional for the sake of success? Celebrating never felt so good.
