I love that Bella ripped into Jacob, and the rest of the Rez. I have always wanted them to be called on their hypocrisy regarding how dangerous the Cullens are while implying that the wolves are not dangerous. Sam imprinted on Emily and that didn't keep her safe, so how could they claim that Bella would be safer with them than she would be with the Cullens? That was always so frustrating for me so thank you very much for that.

I think people generally see the faults in others much more than in themselves. Either that, or they see their own more than the see other's.
In my mind, Bella is fiercely protective of Edward, particularly because she feels she let him down when he was human, that she should've somehow been able to protect him from getting sick. That is something I tried to show. In particiular, Jasper will try to make Edward fully understand the depth of Bella's protectiveness of him.
