OH! And I know this is like WAY LATE, but I was on Depo Provera for a few years and I hated it! My hair was falling out in clumps, I had a splitting migraine an hour after each injection, my body ached, I was miiiiiiissssssserable! BUT, that wasn't as bad as Lupron Depo which gave me hot flashes every 15-30 minutes. Seriously. I am 27 - and that was a few years ago that I had to take that - I shouldn't have hot flashes! I just thought of that when I read she was put on that. LOL!! O_o anyway........................ great chapter, wonderful story, as always!

This has been a fantastic journey and we are sad yet excited that we finally clicked completed. Keep in mind to watch out for Enduring His Cimmerian View to update, there are a few of those yet to write and post. There is not a real posting schedule for those, but they will be written.

My father was having back and neck surgery and he had written letters for both me and my brother, not to be opened until after he died. (He was convinced he wouldn't come out of it). My father is the biggest asshole you could ever meet. Nothing was ever good enough for him, no matter what we accomplished. Anyway - one day, a year or so after he had his surgery - and came out of it just fine, lol - I found the letter and opened it.
I sobbed for hours because, well, for the first time he was proud of me and all I had done up until the date of that letter. Funny how he's never once said it to me, but finally apologized and said it 'after his death'. He doesn't know I've read this letter, because he assumes I got rid of it after he pulled through his sugery. I know how Edward feels. :) I'm still not good enough for Dad, and I still make him mad, which is a shame since he's 'so very proud' of me...

I have been blessed to not have been touched by breast cancer in my family. I dated a guy years ago who was in remission for a different type of cancer and it was amazing to see how he saw life. We didn't work out for other things, but to see the small things that meant something to him... And even when big, bad things happened it wasn't that bad, because it wasn't cancer... I'm glad to have known him for those reasons, he taught me how to love the little things and to not sweat the big things - even if they truly do suck. :)
