Okay, to be honest, I was really enjoying this story...until this chapter.
The fact that you used Alice's childish behavior as evidence to justify Jasper abusing her is disturbing in more ways than I can possibly say, and the fact that he continued to beat her as she cried out in pain is disgusting. I feel bad for Alice! I wouldn't want to be stuck on an island with a husband who physically abuses me and his family, who not only endorses it, but actively encourages it!
Based on Alice's behavior directly following her abuse (just wanting to cuddle with Jasper), it makes me wonder exactly how long he's been beating her?
So this is me bowing out. I simply can't read anything from a writer who could make up excuses for why violence against women is okay.

This story has got me completely hooked! I especially love the nicknames, very clever.
I just wanted to point one thing out though. It's not criticism (because you in no way deserve it!), it's just that I'm a bit anal about this kind of thing. When Bella said "...your feeble mind ELUDED you to believe is okay", she should have said DELUDED. Again, not a reflection on you, just a personal quirk of mine. I'm working on it...
Can't wait to finish reading the rest of this story!
