you have me quite interested in your mysterious story here.  each time you post a new chapter, I go back and read all that came before to get better continuity here.  you throw in new pieces every time, building the puzzle slowly, yet it's still difficult to see the whole picture yet. i'm very interested and will keep reading until it starts to flow for me. not a criticism! not at all. i love it that you make me work for it!

good chapter. Nahuel is now dead, right? so i guess it's off to the Volturi to find Charlie next.

Hi ladies. I've read a couple of your stories now and this one just came up on my alerts.  It sounds good, Bella seems to be a strong character and I like that.  It also sounds like Bella and Edward will meet, and that's always desireable for me.  I'm in.

Why did she call him Stark? As in, Tony Stark Iron Man??  or not....is he connected to her dad's murder??  ok don't answer. it's ok. I'll read and find out...

I think that Edward, Stark, should fire Jessica and hire Bella to be the nanny.  Your readers have some pretty wild theories there about everyone. I prefer to just read and see what happens, most of the time. 

She's right in what she told Alice. Just because she helped Cassie and Cullen, doesn't mean they know who she really is. Who is she, really?

I love where I think this is going.....love her rapport with the kids!  unique nick-names reveal her playful nature.  Eleven years isn't too much....

I took Jessica's nickname to refer to the naselly tone of her voice!  This was another captivating chapter. I still don't know who Bella is.  Is she someone that is a relative of someone Edward has had killed and out for revenge?? That doesn't seem to quite fit, though, does it?  Or does it?

All the nicknames are cute and all, but half the references go over my head. Sorry. I still think Marmaduke refers to Jacob, as they both are dogs....So we know she's crushed on him a long time, don't know her real last name yet or what her game is.  Jessica is stupid to have revealed herself to the kids. I wonder who she works for....Interesting and unique story. Enjoyable.

She's going to tell him. Why does she think he will be pissed when he hears who she really is?  Love that she accepted the job!  Banter, huh? Yeah, that's what she loves about him....uh huh....

I loved how this chapter cleared up a LOT of what I had been wondering about.  I don't think Bella is out to get revenge on the Masen's. She openly came out to Edward with the false information she had been fed. It is as if someone wants her to think the Masens killed her dad. I was right about Marmaduke, the big dumb dog, being Jacob Black. Hah! Apt description! I'm not sure why Jasper still doesn't trust Bella, maybe it's his job to be extremely careful with, and protective of, Edward.  Very enjoyable story, this is....

Wow. Through their conversation at lunch, you have told us a big chunk more of the puzzle.  The one thing missing is who had Renee and Charlie killed. OK maybe that's not the only thing missing here, but a big one!  I'm very happy you are posting another chapter later today as I am dying to find out what the Blacks want with Edward. 

Angry at Stark? That reaction wasn't even on my radar! At first I thought he was being attacked for real, but then quickly realized it was that Sasha person. Geez, wasn't it obvious that he was already aroused to the point of no return on his date with Bella? It was to me! Sasha's unexpected presence just triggered a physical reaction that had nothing to do with her. Mind you, if that REALLY happened to me I might have had a reaction more like Bella had, but I am at readers distance now....Poor Bella, that episode triggered a dream about her dad....Yes, I caught the reference to Chaos. Is it her home defense system of sorts? Kind of like a super version of "the clapper"? That was a joke....seriously, i thought it might be an alarm system on steroids, to make a specious comparison.  I am really loving reading this story and was mildly disappointed that there was no E/B sex here. I will be patient!

I think that your Bella might just be my favorite ever FF Bella!!!  She's tough, sassy, smart, beautiful, and still kind of enigmatic.  I'm dying to see her kick Sasha's ass.....but that may have to wait until the aforementioned bitch, Scorpia, tries something on Bella.  I love Chaos too!  I wonder if Anna knows Bella from before this or if Esme has clued her in about who she is to Edward.  I can't wait to discover more of these secrets as you reveal them to us!

That was one helluva action packed chapter. Bella is a force to be reckoned with for sure and I sincerely hope that doesn't put Stark off....he said he'd love her no matter what!  Why are the Volturi backing Black? Good question! Can't wait for more answers next chapter. This story is one very entertaining ride. Will Bella and Stark have sex before it's over? Sorry, but I'm pervy like that.....

I don't like that Sasha broad either, and I don't like that Edward is sticking up for her, making excuses!  I do like that Bella beat six guys in eight minutes! I like that a lot!  Can't the kids do both pageants and fight training so they can be non-gender biased?  Not that I like pageants, but it seems only fair.  I don't know about meeting with Billy Black. Isn't Jacob dead? Won't he be pissed at them about that? I guess we'll see. Thanks for giving the specifics about how long the story is. I'm enjoying it a lot!

Lovely wedding and honeymoon!  I was slightly aghast that Sasha had the nerve to stand up at their wedding and give that revolting speech. Hopefully she can get the help she needs to get over Stark, and if not, too bad for her!  I was ever so slightly disappointed that there weren't more details about honeymoon sex, but not enough to mar my enjoyment of this story. Virus? Could she be pregnant already??

What a terrific epi to end a wonderfully quirky story!  I've loved every word and will read your next story for sure! Thanks for giving me hours upon hours of entertainment!  I respect and treasure you FF writers who give us you time and talent for free!!

I read all 4 chapters again today when you posted chapter 4. It helps me when I start a new story with my continuity issues. They're mine, not yours.  How horrible is this situation for Peter and Bella! How can a whole town abet the abuse their own father heaps on them? It's difficult to imagine but you make it vividly clear. Edward is to be their rescuer, it's plain to see that. After his less than stellar beginning with them, I am eager to see how he changes that.

Is Charlie their dad? Is he abusive? Don't answer, they're just rhetorical questions....I'll read and find out.

I can't see him giving up, even though he may think he wants to....How can almost a whole town believe that a child deserves getting a beating? Makes me sick.....Once Bella turns 18, she can leave but I think she'll stay and protect Peter.....Hate this Charlie...with a passion!!

It's a disturbing story. To think that this can happen makes me cringe. It's an engaging story, though, and I have hope.

I hope the damn stupid social services workers don't try to take Peter from Edward, but in truth they would probably try to do just that.  Good for Rose and Kate that they NOW believe what Charlie was doing to those poor kids.  Let's hope the evidence is enough to keep everyone safe from now on.....great fucking chapter!!

Peter is young, so I'm not surprised that he is recovering more quickly than Bella is.  I love that Edward's parents got custody of them. It's like a link to both Edward's grandfather and him.  In time, I hope she will come to look on him as family also, maybe even more.  I love how you turned the story so that they all are absolved legally in any part of Charlie's death.  I loathe how the town's people are now saying that they know something was wrong all along.....good for Bella for keeping them away from her mother's service!!

I want to choke the defense attorney!  Peter shouldn't be blamed for this!  Yes, I still love the story and I know you need to present these awful things as part of it to give the whole picture. Don't worry, you are doing a fine job.

It's a shame, but many animals who have been abused are not given the time to recover before something like this happens and people clamor for them to be put down. It's the abuser who should be put down, not the animal!!  It seems that Edward and Bella are getting closer, that she is also letting others in, and that's a good thing.  Hearing about another horrific thing Charlie did to Peter just makes me want to bring him back to life and kill him all over again.....I hope Edward can save that poor dog....

I think that opening up to Bella about his cheating girlfriend brought him closer to realizing his growing feelings for her.  I think Bella is young and maybe not too sure when her feelings for him changed and grew to be more than friendly.  Jessica needs to get a clue and keep her hands to herself, but you're right we haven't heard her story yet.  The subtlieies here lend an amazing shading of feelings to this story. I really like that. !!

Although he's realized that he has more than friends feelings for her, he's still a bit clueless, isn't he?  Why is he going so slowly?  I have no problem with that, I just wonder what he's waiting for.  The slow burn here works wonderfully for this story, though, and I'm loving every word. 

This was the best chapter ever!  I love that Bella wants to wait on sex until she is married.  I love that she could say that to him, ask him for that. I love even more that he will wait.  I'm not opposed to sex before marriage but respect the right and privilege of others to do what is best for them.....and it's just a story. It's refreshing that you have put this in your stories. You know, I love all kinds of stories whether they are mostly chaste like this one, all the way up to and including pure smut. I get something for all of them.  I really enjoy reading this story as well as the last one you wrote. Thanks again!

I'm one of those who was hoping for a lemon. I guess I figured that with all the graphic abuse detailed early in the story that a bit of love would help offset it.  I'm mildly disappointed that violence was depicted here and love was not.

Good opening chapter! Caught my attention. Edward seems to be a sociopath, albeit a very attractive and sexy one!  I'm glad he had Maria suck Carlisle's cock, and not his, before he killed her.  He looks like he will have his hands full trying to deal with Bella!

I'm just wondering why your spelling of his last name is Mason and not the usual Masen as it is in most other stories. No criticism, just curiosity.
