The fact that people keep referring to what happens in their lifestyle in this story as disgusting and degrading, or whatever, makes me wonder why in the hell they keep reading the story if they feel like that. I am at a loss to know why that is.....
This reader loves reading about these things and even though you issue a disclaimer every chapter, I learn more with each chapter I read. I read lots of different stories but must admit these are my favorite. They touch a place in me I didn't know was there. Each portrays the life a bit differently and I'm fairly sure they mimic RL in that way. I may be mistaken as I have no first hand knowledge, but there are similarities and things that ring true throughout all of them. Very enjoyable to read about, for me.

I think officer Hawk is an OK guy. I'm sure he deals with people all the time with whom he needs to be an asshole to get anything done. Maybe it's his natural bent.....I still think he's just doing the job as he sees it needs to be done. All the pieces of this puzzle keep growing closer together....I didn't see Bella's hesitancy at selling her house as having anything to do with how she feels about Edward. She's learning how to trust again and it's a slow process. His idea of renting it out is a nice compromise. I felt she was open to that.....little does she know he has already bought her engagement ring. Is he waiting to ask until this is all settled with who is out to get Bella? Maybe he needs to do it sooner.....j/s...love the story, LOVE the story and am starting to read the OTs.

that chapter was so full of different things that i don't know where to begin to respond. as I am reading this, there are only 12 chapters left that you've written, so for you to say this was the last "usual" chapter kind of makes me sad in a way. You mention a sequel, but as of today 1/28/14 there is not only no sequel, but this story isn't even finished. I guess I need to be in for the long haul....I love all of this...the bratty Alice thing makes me a bit sad as I think Edward means to cut her out if she doesn't treat his Bella right.....and what can I say about the playroom stuff...it's why I read stories like this. you are very good at writing this stuff. makes me wonder, but I know you don't talk about personal stuff. 'The story of us', was 'Bon Secours'. And 'Instructions Not Included', was 'Bon Secours the sequel'. Sorry to throw you off, but a name change was a must.
Sequel to 'The Story of Us', if you didn't read that, please do so before you read this. The title says it all, since children do not come with an instruction manual. This picks up right where the original leaves off, 'The Story of us' epilogue. If you liked that, you will LOVE this. How will Edward and Bella deal with a house full of teenagers? There's flashbacks, more drama, more lemons, much more humor, and a whole lot of story.
Doctorward is there too, just like the first story.
It's incredibly long because we have the (A) story, which is Edward and Bella. Then we have the (B) story, which is EJ and CC, their two oldest children.
Points of view will fluctuate. Chapters will be split, since there's essentially two stories in one.
Rated NC-17 just in case for Lemons and Language galore

If I were a teenage girl, I would be attracted more to CC. These are well defined and solid characters and the story is always good. It's also really great to see E and B's passion is as hot as always! Love that the boys are both grateful that their parents still love each other and are uncomfortable with their PDA's. Just fucking hilarious!!

I'm not a PC mom, never was. My youngest son's dad gave him alcohol when he was about 5 and I lost it. I always wanted my kids to smoke pot with me when they were teens but they never did. They waited until they were with friends to do anything like that. Was I a good parent? Generally speaking I think so. What Edward did was poor judgement but in the context of what was happening, and who he is, understandable. Love the story.

nice little slice of life/shower story. i love the way bella interacts with the younger women and teenage girls....like she is the mother hen/den mother of the group. love the way edward smirks internally at the thought of his wife fighting Lauren over the flirting non-issue....men are pigs sometimes...LOL. the overall casualness of this chapter is a nice way to wind down the story. too bad you couldn't hit your goal of 69 chapters. i would have loved that! i love the story anyway, you must know that by now.
