After Renee and Phil die in a car accident on Bella’s 17th birthday. She is sent to live with her father, Charlie and brother, James in Forks WA after being separated for 10 years with no contact. Charlie dabbles in training and placement of the “perfect” wife for exclusive clientele. Bella quickly learns that she’s going that she’s going to get more than a high school education. Dear God I was on the edge of my seat woundering what was happening next. I was yelling at my computer (literally) trying to make Edward tell Bella what he was doing (knowing after the fact that she needed to be convincing)
I was shocked that she finally told him about Carlisle. Good for her.

Poor Esme.. I feel so bad for her, but to have her be so strong for her son, daughters is simply amazing.. I didn't realize her garden was so big, I thought is was small... make total sense. she has a big heart.
I always wanted to know what happened to Esme..and now I know..
Also, wow I can't believe that Edward has fallen back into some of his old ways...even in false pretenses. Poor Bella I hate to see her so defeated.

WOW what a chapter hon. I'm literally doing a happy dance about Carlisle. I knew he was crazy but him calling Bella, Renee, was just pure genius. I'm so happy Everyone evil is dead or gone. Poor Bella and Edward
I am curious myself as to what Esme did with the ashes... My guess is that she buried them underneath something she reserved only for Carlisle (maybe a spot designated for when she fell in love with, before he became a monster) either that or she went to her happy place, deep within the garden, and danced on his ashes.. either one makes me happy.
Oh, my I want to know why Bella says 'let me go'..... my heart just droped...

Wow I can't believe that Bella left, like actually left Edward. But in so many ways I'm glad... she needed her childhood back, to find herself. I'm so excited to read the epi... wonder how everything turned out.
I like the idea of TPW as an original novel. It has kept me on my seat, wondering what will happen next. I felt for each character and what they went through. It was facinating to see how the boys slowly transformed into the men they are now..
Great job with this story hon.
I am very interested in reading Esme's and Renee's story.. I can't even imagine what they went through or how they delt with Charlie or Carlisle.

This story picks up from the moment in New Moon when Jacob has driven Bella home after the cliff diving incident, right before he catches the scent of Alice. Only in this telling, Alice wasn't looking, so there's no sudden appearance at Bella's house, no Rosalie calling Edward and sending him on a suicidal mission to Volterra, and no reason for Bella to do anything but believe that Edward didn't love her anymore. This is simply a story of what might have happened if everyone stayed mostly in character and Edward's return was delayed. Yes, delayed. Because we all know that he was "this close" to coming back on his own anyhow.
So what would have happened if Bella had tried to move on with her life? Would she have found happiness with Jacob? And would Edward be too late?
