Love that Alice got to shout at Edward & the way Jasper loves & defends her - yes he should throw Edward into a wall & beat the living crap out of him. & Rose was brilliant too. Ha would have loved to have seen the look on Edwards face when rose gave him the scotch! A pity Emmett is still alittle stuck in his ways but he's a good man deep down - just Carlisles ways take alot of eroding away.

OMG Poor Bella - that was rough going there. Thank god Edward realised quickly what was what & Emmett & Rose were close. Am glad James & Paul are getting their comeuppance. Tho' alittle surprised that Edward doesnt want to kill him himself - but then again, he doesnt want that on his conscience, being a killer plus no point in getting your hands dirty when someone else can do it for you plus he doesnt love her that much yet...not yet.
Am glad Edward heard Bella - this is the wake up call he needed - just hoping she eventually tells someone (if not Edward) about Carlisle. Running on to next chapter - you so own my ass missy!!

So glad Bella has Alice & look forward to their conversations along with Rosies. Also look forward to Esme's time with Bella. Forgot to mention earlier Carlisle makes me sick - I didnt see that coming (in his study). I was aware he was not particularly nice but so didnt see that. Just when it looks like she's out of the frying pan she's in the fire.
And now how could Edward have been so stupid to leave Bella alone. (Was surprised he even trusted her not to run - but then again apart from hitch hiking she wouldnt be able to go anywhere - guess it never even entered his head as he's so dumb & blind believing there's truth in what she says to him - believing she really wants to be with him). His prickish egocentric attitude makes my blood boil. Loved what Bella said to Alice about him/the mails - so hit the nail on the head. Glad she's still hanging onto that part of her for now.
Plus I had tears watching Jasper with Alice - their whispering & love & how he tried to calm her whilst Carlisle spoke of training. Plus lovely to see that Emmett isnt the hard brute prick he makes out - good for Rose - she's wearing the trousers after all.
Brilliant.
But now James is here & I'm trembling in my rush to get to next chapter. Would he dare touch her - guessing yes cause he's had one beating & maybe thinks having a friend alongside will help him fight Edward. Oh shit....

My God I never thought I could possibly be so angry; even dislike an Edward - but you've proved me wrong - God what a twat he is - but then again Carlisle is ultimately to blame as Edward has never known any different. I guess he never hung out with other girls before long enough to get to know them - only to use them for sole sexual purposes. He's also been away from home & having not spent time with Jasper & Alice he really hasnt got an effing clue.
But hopefully he'll learn, he'll begin to understand - he's got the nagging doubts already - fingers crossed - moving on at great speed.

Great chapter. God Carlisle is a PIG! Love how Emmett has changed - awesome for Rose. Even standing up to Carlisle - wish all 3 boys would do that, guess there's still money matters to think of tho', particularly for Jazz & Emm. But they cant just throw in the towel on their businesses - they have huge beliefs in providing for their families & guessing having no money would certainly go against this.
Liked how Edward saw them all together in the kitchen - I had tears in my eyes when Emm gave Rosie the rocker & she told him how much she loved him & Esme was so proud. Glad it got to Edward too - he's got along way to go yet - the way he acted in the house, after the realtor left proved this.
Hope Edward seeing the different Bella in the movies will wear more of the bad Ed down. So hope he doesnt approach Carlisle tho about why she thinks C would hurt her - that would so be a bad move. Running on.

Love how Emmett spoke to Carlisle re the babe news - good for Emm. Edward is quite the romantic when he puts his mind to it. So trip to Phoenix on the cards - cant wait.

Bella is fortunate to have the girls to show her how not to completely lose herself in the onslaught of everything that's happened. It's not the ideal solution, but they've learned after years of living this abuse that if you can't get out, then you have to find something to hang onto so you don't lose your sanity.
Edward has a lifetime of messed up wiring in his brain from being Carlisle's son to overcome if he's ever going to be the man Bella deserves. Change comes slowly and he's going to stumble and fall along the way. As long as he gets back up and keeps learning, eventually he might figure it out.
I'm enjoying reading your comments very much. I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

I can only think he has to play the softly softly approach in order to have Bella - maybe if she doesnt get trained Carlisle wont let him have her. ie He doesnt want to leave her there but has no choice - guess we'll find out soon enough.
