I totally agree with you that this kind of neglect is not overkill, and can & DOES happen. People shouldn't judge what they don't know or understand...things like this happen more often than most people think or know. Maybe they should ask themselves why agencies such as CPS, etc., are overwhelmed, and why so many children often just fall through the cracks, usually ending up worse off than they were before.
Like you, I endured very similar circumstances while growing up, sometimes much worse. :(
I'm sorry to hear what you went through. It definitely leaves its mark on you, but makes you a stronger, better person in some ways. At least I'd like to think that of myself, anyway, and I'm sure it's the same with you. ;)

Hello everyone! Thanks for all your kind words. We want to start off by addressing some of the frequent questions. This quote (“I know they love me, really ... I know but, it’s strange, maybe it’s just me. You know that I see and hear things differently from the rest of the world, but thank you for doing this and answering my questions.”) from chapter five had someone ask, what Bella meant. Bella is referring to how she perceives her family versus the way others do. Jacob is not a card we are showing yet, you’ll have to be patient to see what he has up his sleeve. Did Bella hear him in the shower? We have yet to hear that answer from Bella ourselves, but in my thoughts she surely did. Will there be any chapters in Bella’s POV? She is talking a little here and there, but nothing’s set in stone as of yet. Shouldn’t Edward as a good Dom cancel the scene? The scene is not canceled, but it has been modified from the original way it was written. This was for several reasons. We have sixteen chapters written, yet we still continue to makes tweaks and changes here and there before posting. When we started making him have hard feelings about the upcoming scene, or feel nervous about it, we started discussing it more. We found a way to appease us, our readers and yet still show what we wanted to show. So trust us—please. I’m glad we haven’t fallen into the pleads for more chapters to post faster, because in the last week we haven’t gotten another one done. Of course WeeKittyAndTAT, JessAndTAT and TeamAllTwilight all submitted pieces of work into the Fandom Fights LLS. WeeKittyAndTAT did an Epilogue of sorts for Ropin’ A Sitter. JessAndTAT did a future take on Bases Loaded. I wrote a new fan fiction novella, it’s called, The Things That Make You Click. All of these will post to our FFN and TWCS accounts, but not until after December first. TEASER: “Felix, my father is coming in tonight. Please have him come straight to my office. Keep everyone else out until I’m done. If there are any problems, I trust you to deal with them accordingly.”
Felix nods at me, but doesn’t say anything. I carry on, walking toward Jenks, when I’m stopped by Tanya.
“Sir, I have some news that I would like to share with you.”
I turn and face Tanya who looks like the cat who got the cream. “Tanya, I’m very busy, it’ll have to wait until tomorrow.”
I move away from her, but she grabs my wrist pulling me back. “It’s very important, Sir.”
I yank my arm away from her, turning to face her once more. “Tanya, don’t you tell me when I will speak with you. I’m busy, so unless you’re going to die in the next five minutes and need me to call an EMT for you, I don’t want to know. And never touch me again without my consent!”
I walk away without waiting for her response. As I approach Jenks, he shakes his head, looking behind me at Tanya.
“Ah, still trying to get your attention then?”
I nod at him, opening up my office.
“I’d stay away from that one; she’s clearly after money, fame and quite frankly, has ‘whore’ written all over her.”
I chuckle a little at his quite accurate synopsis of Tanya. “Yes, I know. Those are the main reasons I have always refused her, that, and she makes me lose brain cells every time she opens her mouth. But enough about her, what did you find out.”
Jenks looks at me sadly and I can clearly see the worry on his face. “This is not going to be easy to read. Even harder for you I’d say, because you’ve become somewhat involved with the girl.”
I nod at him in understanding. “Just show me.”

I think that Jessica drugged Bella with the plan to film her in a compromising position. I think that she might know Jacob, & might be in cahoots somehow with him and that other group of douche bags that tried to rape Bella before. Maybe they were hoping to finish the job this time. :(
I hope Jessica & that whole bunch of losers get what they've got coming to them, big time!
The only bad thing now is that while Bella is luckily out of that dreaded dorm, she still has to attend school with all of those assholes, and I have a feeling that they aren't going to make it easy for her.
I'm also sure she's not the dean's favorite person either since he had to shell out some dough for her troubles, so he may be even more apt now than before to turn the other cheek when it comes to her. :(
I also hope that Edward doesn't cut Charlie ANY slack, or buy ANY of his bullshit excuses. I hope that Edward gives Charlie hell; that is, IF the slimeball even shows up! I hope Edward puts that asshole in his place, and let's him KNOW just how worthless, selfish, dispicable, and lowlife both he & Renee are! Those two as parents couldn't be any more disgusting!
Although I'm sure that Charlie being a cop, and probably a dirty one at that, he might try to cause trouble for Edward somehow. I also wouldn't put it past him to try to manipulate Bella in some way against Edward.
I don't know...just some of my theories. LOL

Many of you are questioning how Jessica knows so much about Bella. Bella and Jessica are both from Forks. Jessica is jealous of Bella, because Bella beat her out for valedictorian. Jessica was always the smartest of her class, until Bella came along. Several years younger and doesn’t even have to try in order to surpass her academically. Bella got all the best scholarships and awards, all things Jessica wanted. When the stuff happened at Harvard, of course Jessica heard about it, and being from Forks she certainly knows Jacob. A lot of you want retribution in blood or however it can be gotten. Rest assured that what comes around goes around, but as long as Bella is close enough for them to hurt, Edward will keep his cards close to his chest.
Things are progressing well, and where this is a slow burn thing will heat quicker now that she lives there. It’s still a slow burn, but no longer dragging feet pace. For the record, Edward does want her to go to supper and meet his family, but he is tense about it because his family is very in your face caring and loving and Bella is not used to that type of family interaction. Edward doesn’t know it yet, but he loves her. Be patient and you will see this, I assure you. Next chapter will post on Sunday, see you then.

Teaser: “Yes, my girl performed a special dance for me earlier. She said she would, with our approval, teach something similar to Sulpicia.” Aro gets a dreamy look on his face and grins even wider at me.
“Yes, there have been talks about that dance your girl performed since I arrived earlier. If you are in agreement with your girl doing this, then so am—” Aro gets cut off with the ringing of his cell phone. “Speaking of my pet,” Aro says before he answers, “Sulpicia,” he says answering the call.
Before he says another word he looks to me as if he is concerned. “Yes, I’m with him right now,” he stops talking and has a look of anger coming across his face. “Keep her as calm as you can. Edward and I will be with you both soon.” I look to him as he talks and close his cell.
“Sulpicia is at Bella’s work. From what I can gather, there is some money and belongings that have gone missing. Her boss checked out the staff lockers and found a laptop that another staff member claims was hers in Bella's locker.”
I nod at him, but I know my girl and she is no thief. It only takes us a short time to reach Bella’s work. As I walk in my eyes fall on Lauren and Jessica, standing together. As I look at Lauren, I see she has the laptop I bought Bella.
I smirk and move over to them. “That's my laptop and I don’t believe I gave you permission to touch it.” Both girls look my way and Lauren glares at me.
“No, this is mine. Look, it has my name on it.” I raise my eyebrow at her as she turns it and shows me the stupid sticker displaying her name.

How petty & immature can Lauren & Jessica be?! For someone who was going to be the valedictorian, she sure is a dumb bitch, not to mention how skanky both L&J are!
Also, how did they get into Bella's work or locker, or have an opportunity to get ahold of Bella's laptop or any money in the first place? I surely hope that Bella wasn't carrying around that $5,000 with her. That would be extremely stupid on so many levels, if she was!
I also hope that Edward kept all of his receipts from when he purchased the laptop, etc.! If he did, this will quickly show what lying, stupid bitches both L&J are. And doesn't Lauren realize that there are serial numbers on a laptop, and that if it's turned on, it will either be registered to Bella or Edward, & will more than likely have things on there that belongs to them, NOT Lauren. And anybody could make a sticker to stick on something & claim it as theirs...see, they're both so stupid!
I hope that Bella or even her boss press charges on them for the attempted theft, and maybe even get them for making a false statement, or slander. I hope they both get the fullest extent of what they've got coming to them, & what they deserve! And NOT in a good way!

Well so far everyone seems to be loving the story and we are so happy about that. Not a lot of questions asked this go around, but there will probably be some more by the next chapter. This story will be somewhere between twenty and thirty chapters when complete. We mentioned this will post once a week on Mondays. If for some reason Kasi can’t post Monday morning, it may post late Sunday night. The Cullen’s are very accepting of Edward’s choices in life and his lifestyle, therefore yes the Cullen’s would be good to Bella if she were to be around them. Date: 09 Sep 2013 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8
I'm so disappointed that Jessica & Lauren didn't get in any more trouble than they did, especially with Sulpicia being a detective, & being on B&E's side. And then couple that with Lauren's bullshit story that she was "mistaken" about the laptop...so mistaken in fact, that she just happened to have a sticker with her name on it, & then fraudulently stuck it on property that she KNEW wasn't her's. Those two twits needed charges pressed on them!!! No if's, and's, or but's!!!
And Bella's boss sounds like a complete asshole, and a dumb one at that! He admits that he knew that J&L had been bullying Bella, & that he basically allowed it. Then, when there are serious allegations made against Bella from the two very same people that he KNOWS has been bullying her, he sides with J&L! He didn't even try to do any investigating of his own, or anything! If he had, it would've been quite easy to see that J&L were lying! He needs to be fired for incompetency!!!
What about the money that was supposedly stolen along with the laptop? How much money was taken, & why wasn't it addressed?! Is this yet one more thing that J&L will get away with?!?
And WHY does Bella even care about what Charlie will think about her losing her job?! He doesn't support her, & barely sees or speaks to her, so what's it even got to do with him?! It's just CRAZY!!!
I am also EXTREMELY disappointed in Edward. For a "dom", he certainly is VERY passive, & not very assertive when he NEEDS to be. First, with the situation with J&L, & then with Charlie & Jacob. He let A LOT of stuff slide at Charlie's...TOO MUCH, actually.
Even though Bella isn't his girlfriend or wife, she's still his "friend", and someone who he said he thinks of as family. So then WHY did he allow all of the shit that went on there?!? There's NO way in HELL that any other normal, decent man would've allowed Bella to be treated that badly, especially getting hit & injured, or talked to the way she was! It was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!
WHY didn't he at least try to talk some sense into Bella before they went, & tell her the TRUTH about everything he knows about Charlie?! Maybe if he had done that, she might not have wanted to go, which she SHOULDN'T have anyway!
And I will be soooooooo pissed if Bella gives that slimy scumbag Charlie one freakin' cent!!! She DOESN'T owe him a damn thing...but he IS, however, owed "something", alright! And that's an ass whoopin' of epic proportions, on top of losing everything he has! I hope his life falls apart, along with all of the scummy, trashy people in it!
PLEASE let something BAD happen to ALL of these EVIL people!!!

We knew the reactions to chapter eight would be intense and strong. We were shocked that some of you actually attacked Bella for being weak, but at the same time it’s not surprising. Sometimes people who are mentally abused and neglected for years strive only for some sort of love. I can’t imagine any child not wanting their parent to love them. We all see love in differing ways, and when you’re raised not feeling that unconditional parental love, it makes you strive to have it—at least it did for me. Bella will come into her own strength soon, and with the help of Edward and his family she will get better. We are stoked for you to see the interaction with Bella viewing Esme and the way that Esme treats her children, so a portion of that is your teaser.
Many of you asked why Edward did not just beat Charlie down, or how he could have not stopped the situation, or known Jake was in the kitchen. Edward is one person, and he was trying to watch out for Leah, Jake, Charlie, Brady and didn’t know if he could trust any of the other five people there as well. As for when Charlie smacked Bella, he had his attention focused on Leah and Jacob. As for why he did not punch or beat down anyone, imagine this: Edward defends Bella by striking someone or several someone’s. He gets arrested his word against several, one of whom is the police chief. Meanwhile Bella is unprotected and left with the wolves. It was best for him to do as he did get her out and safe. And trust that he will be dealing with this. The ball has already been rolling on a few things, but this just upped the ante.
I’m sad to say that we have lost some readers, but again we cannot and will not apologize or rose color a story about an abused girl, when a good lot of the abuse she withstands is things that are personal to one of the writers and or other people the writers know. Abuse happens and the largest form of abuse out there is mental abuse and neglect. Awareness is a key to making things better. Bullying is a problem, and awareness is a key. We are however thankful that we have readers who trust in us to bring things full circle.

Teaser: “This is very nice, Esme,” Bella says after taking a bite.
Esme smiles broadly at Bella. “Thank you, dear. Edward tells me you're quite a wonderful cook yourself.”
Bella’s blush appears on her face. “I’m nowhere near as good of a cook as this.”
I shake my head at her. “Trust me, Bella’s cooking is to die for,” I say as Emmett passes me the wine. I pour some for Esme, Bella, and then lastly for myself.
“What are you going to college for?” Rose asks as she looks at Bella.
“I’m getting a law degree,” Bella answers, but I know the whole table can hear the sadness in her voice.
“And Edward tells us that you’re a dancer, a quite wonderful one at that.” I look to Alice, smiling that she brought up something that makes my girl happy.
Bella nods at Alice. “Yes, I love dancing, but I only do it for fun.”
“You’re in the Christmas dance program for the college though, right?” Esme asks as she looks at Bella.
“Yes,” she replies with another blush.
“Carlisle and I have tickets for three of the performances. I’m so looking forward to the show, and seeing you dance, of course. The dance department director has been bragging to the board of directors about the dances that you have choreographed.” Again Bella blushes more at hearing about the commendations she’s being given.
“That’s got to be the cutest blush ever,” Emmett says in a childish voice, which is followed by a slap from Rose.
“I love dancing, and the people I’ve been dancing with are all great. I just hope that no one’s disappointed at the end of the night.”
Esme frowns a little. “I’m sure no one will be disappointed, dear.” My mom smiles at Bella in a way that I can see the mother in her trying to break out and pull Bella in.
The rest of the dinner seems to fly by with everyone talking about what’s been happening. The more the night goes on, the more Esme became motherly to Bella, but I’ve also noticed Bella becoming uncomfortable with it. At so many times, she’s looked like she isn’t sure how to react at something Esme has said or done. She’s remained respectful, but I’ve seen her slowly distancing herself from Esme.
I walk Bella to the car and open the door for her. “I’ll just be a few seconds.” I give her a wink and walk back to house.
As soon as I do, I can hear Esme’s upset voice. “We really need to do something. I won’t accept that nothing can be done.”
I hear my father sigh. “It takes time, dear.”
“No, first those little punks ... I’ll let you and Edward deal with them, but Charlie is mine!”
I chuckle, but feel a little nervous, because I can hear the anger in my mom’s voice.

Please DO NOT let Edward be passive, or tolerate ANY of Renee's bullshit just for the sake of not wanting to hurt Bella's feelings, like he did with Charlie. I don't think I could handle it if he does!
It's bad enough that Edward didn't speak up about how he felt after Renee's rude, uncaring phone call, or tell Bella the TRUTH - that her mom is a worthless user. He's an older, wiser, experienced man...he should've had Renee's number, so to speak, the moment he heard about her, let alone hearing her bullshit over the phone! To let this shit continue would be lunacy, & he wouldn't be doing right by Bella, or himself, if he allows it!
Doesn't Edward realize that these people are THE reason that Bella has NO self-esteem, NO self-worth?! If for no other reason than this, these people would be on my shit list & thouroughly disgust me!
If I were Edward, I WOULD NOT allow Bella to carry ANYTHING for them, nor would I be carrying a single thing for their rude, entitled asses, either! They have four arms between them, let them carry their own damn shit themselves! OR, they have money, let them hire their own freakin' bellhop, luggage handler, or whatever the hell they're called! All I know is that their shit would stay right on the floor in the airport where they expectantly dropped it, for all I cared! It WOULD NOT be carried by me or Bella, that's FOR SURE!
As for Renee & Phil wanting to stay with Bella - didn't they realize that Bella lived in a dorm, or at least they thought she did, so how was them staying with her even going to be possible? Renee didn't want to stay at a hotel with the team because it wasn't good enough for her, yet she wanted to stay in a crappy, cramped college dorm room? Ridiculous! And where did they think she was going to get a car from to come pick them up? If they are so wealthy, why couldn't they get their own damn ride, and their own damn place to stay?! None of it makes any logical sense.
Again, if I were Edward, these two wouldn't be welcome in my home. They could go to the Super 8, or sleep out on the fucking street for all I cared.
Both of these worthless scumbags (Charlie & Renee) NEED to be put in their place...Phil, too, if he starts any shit! To me, he's just as guilty.
If Edward doesn't stand up to them, how is he ever going to expect timid Bella to?!? How will she ever begin to heal unless he pulls the wool from her eyes? If he keeps letting shit slide to pacify her, and not telling her the TRUTH about things where they're concerned, even if it hurts her temporarily, then it will NEVER get any better! These people are like a cancer thart continues to fester throughout her life, and now his too, since he's with her, unless they are "dealt with" NOW!
Deep down Bella knows the truth...knows that these assholes don't love her, & don't treat her right...Edward NEEDS to talk to her like the woman that she IS, quit handling her with kid gloves, & make her realize that these people are only a detriment to her & her life, so that she can finally rid herself of them!!!
Edward also better get Jacob handled instead of waiting around for him to do something, which we know he will! Why don't he call Jacob's college & report him, tell them what he's been up to, that he's been missing, attending another college, & his buddies are covering from him? Hell, anything is better than NOTHING! I'm afraid that he'll wait around until Bella end up getting raped by one, or possibly all of these assholes, stripping her of her virginity, and damaging her mentally beyond repair.
Since he's supposedly such a rich, powerful Dom, then he damn well better start acting like it!

Many of you have already figured out that Renee is not quite motherly material. We were laughing and shocked by some of the stuff said about Renee’s pink hair. Gotta love it. We think you’ll like the next chapter, we get to see Renee and how she treats Bella, but we will also see how Edward gives Bella the ability to stop letting Renee walk all over her. We think you will love it, we know we did. A lot of you are worried about Jake and Charlie as well as Tanya ... with that being said we don’t want to give away anything much, but trust by the end of the story all things will be resolved. I think you all will enjoy Edward’s protective ways of Bella, now that he knows she is his both casually and contractually. We hope that you love the teaser, we had to share something juicy with you. TEASER:
“I couldn’t tell you for how many years we’ve been married. I know it’s been a few, but it still feels like yesterday.”
I roll my eyes at Renee’s performance, because that’s what she’s doing—performing for them.
“Mr. Cullen, when were you going to tell the world about your marriage to this woman?” one of the paparazzi yells out.
I shake my head at them. “Mrs. Dwyer is not my wife; she’s the mother of my girlfriend. Mrs. Dwyer was talking about her husband, Phil Dwyer, he plays baseball.”
Renee turns and glares at me. “They know who he is. He’s the best baseball player that has ever lived.”
I glance at the paparazzi seeing they’re all trying to figure out which team he plays for. The bright one of the bunch of course starts questioning me again. “Where is the new girlfriend, Mr. Cullen? Do we get to know her name?” I smile and look beside me to see that Bella has moved to stand almost behind me.
“She’s a little camera shy, and her name is Isabella Swan. However, we have to go, her mom and step-father have had a long flight, and it’s been a few months since they’ve had a chance to visit. As you can imagine, they want to spend some time together, so please excuse us and have a nice day.”
I start to walk away, but see Renee has failed to move. “Push this for a second, Beautiful,” I say before walking back and grabbing Renee’s arm lightly. “Time to go.”
She huffs at me and I give her the look which managed to only shut her up for a whole two seconds. She really is obtuse. “Look, I need to do stuff like that with the paparazzi. I know you’re just a newcomer, but I’m famous because of who I’ve married.”

I am still so aggrevated with Edward! He didn't put Renee or Phil in their places nearly as much as he SHOULD have! He SHOULD have told that cunt that Bella ISN'T her maid, & WILL NOT be waiting on her or Phil, WHATSOEVER! Then, the fact that B&E both took care of their luggage in the beginning super pissed me off! Like I said in my last review...I WOULD'VE left that shit sit right where it was! If Phil & Renee want their luggage, then they can grab it themselves!
I'm also disappointed in Rose...I thought if anyone could put Renee in check, it would be Rose...but no...Renee get's to spend over $9,000 between the spa & shopping, when Edward instructed specifically - ONE DRESS! Not to mention that Renee still continued being a BITCH!
Since Phil supposedly has his own money, I DON'T understand WHY Edward had to pay for their dinner, provide their lodging, or ANYTHING at all for Renee's nasty ass?!? If I were Edward, Phil WOULD BE reimbursing me for Renee's little shopping spree & spa visit! I realize that Edward is a billionaire, but that's beside the point...it boils down to the principle of it, & what's right. Edward DIDN'T take Renee & Phil's asses to raise or pamper, & what Renee done was extremely RUDE & inconsiderate!
Phil may seem nice on the outside, but there HAS to be something wrong with that douche to put up with Renee's crazy bullshit. If he was so concerned about Bella all of this time, he sure has a funny way of showing it! And the way that he let Edward pay for everything while staying in his home, using his car, never offering to step in or help with anything, or put Renee in her place when she's being cruel to Bella speaks volumes about his character! When Edward gave him that $400 to go eat, which was WAY TOO MUCH, he certainly didn't refuse, nor did he say a word about the shopping spree or spa. If Edward wouldn't have given Bella his card, how in the hell did they think an 18 year old college student was going to afford anything?!? I'm wondering if P&R are broke? I don't trust them! Phil's not a man...he's a spineless, disgusting, using pussy in disguise - he's subpar, just like he plays baseball.
Renee MUST be mentally ill to continue to carry on the way she did, even AFTER she was told that the skybox belonged to Edward & his family. I mean, does the bitch smoke crack, or what?! Her behavior is just TOO outlandish. Too bad someone don't grow a set of balls & tell her to sit her crazy ass down, shut her trap, & quit embarrassing herself!

Well so far everyone is pretty much at the same conclusion, that Renee is a POS when it comes to being a mother. With the way Bella has been raised and the way that she acts, this is not a big surprise. Some of you have asked why Edward has not yet stepped in to protect her and that as her Dom he should. Edward has been very clear all along that he wants her to grow and be confident on her own as well. Now you will see that he is giving her the power to stand up for herself, and as her Dom he is telling her that he expects her to stand up for herself. Bella is much stronger than most think, including Edward, but have no fear he will see her strengths. I think that you all will be shocked to see how far Renee will go to maintain her own importance.
A lot of you mention or talk about earlier authors notes and review replies where I have spoken candidly about my own upbringing. Not every bad thing that happened or happens to Bella in this story happened to me growing up, but the neglect and the being pushing away and having parents who think only of them was a very prominent part of my childhood. Both my parents are now gone, and I miss them. I know that is not easy to understand for some, but even though they treated me like a second class citizen most of the time, they still were my parents. This is why I maintain that you never know how you’d react in this situation, because unless you’re raised in it, you don’t know.

Bella honestly SHOULDN'T have sent ANY of those ungrateful assholes a single Christmas gift! :( Hell, the proverbial lump of coal would've been TOO good & TOO much for them! And I bet NONE of them send her a damn thing in return - not even a "thank you". :(
It's also hard to believe what she said she used to spend on them for Christmas gifts before she met Edward. Where did she ever get that kind of money? I bet they NEVER got her anything, either.
Bella NEEDS to forget ALL of those horrible people, let them go, & leave them in her past where they belong! Until she does this, she'll never truly be free, or able to heal properly. They are all TOXIC & detrimental to her & her well-being!
I also wanted to comment that even though E&B are in D/s relationship, I feel Edward is often demeaning to Bella, such as making her sit at his feet like a dog while he feeds her (I bet Renee would LOVE to do that to Bella, as well - something with peanuts, no doubt!). Him not sitting with her sometimes when he eats, making her kneel before him, or not allowing her to speak or do anything on her own unless she has his permission is also awful & utterly ridiculous! NO ONE in their right mind would tolerate that shit for a second! How is she ever going to learn to have a mind of her own or any confidence at all, if she has to always ask permission like a mindless little kid, or is treated like an animal/pet?!
I feel as if Edward, or anyone who is into that stuff, preys on people like Bella who are weak, and desperately looking for love & attention, no matter how they get it. :( What it really boils down to is Edward & all those other Doms wanting nothing more than a modern day indentured slave & punching bag/whipping post, & they operate under the guise of this BDSM shit to get it, feeding their huge egos in the process too, no less. :(
Bella's been abused, unloved, demeaned, dictated to, & put down her whole life. I honestly don't see how this kind of degrading treatment/behavior could ever be beneficial for her. Despite her agreeing to this kind of stuff, I feel Bella would agree to literally anything as long as it made Edward happy, no matter how she might really feel about it. It's the same reason she's always let everyone run over, disrespect, & take advantage of her - because she wants love, friendship, & acceptance no matter the cost! She wants to feel as if she finally belongs somewhere, or is wanted, for a change, and sadly, she's willing to do whatever it takes to get it. :(
I feel that if Edward truly loved or cared for her, then he would put all that silly shit (BDSM) behind him, & try to be a better man for her - try to show her what love, acceptance, & normalcy really is, without all of the unnecessary shit. But apparently, he's far too selfish, just like everyone else in her life.
Why Edward's parents even go along with or accept this craziness is beyond me! Yes, he's an adult, but he wouldn't be bringing that crap into my home, or around me. It would kill me to think of my son treating a woman that way, whether she liked/wanted it, or not! I'd be so disappointed, wondering where I went wrong with him. And if he brought around such a young, vulnerable, & obviously fragile, troubled girl such as Bella, I'd really be upset with him for wanting to do that kind of shit with her, or even considering it! :(

Bella maybe in your eyes shouldn’t have sent a gift, but this Bella is selfless in the aspect that she believes in the good of people, even when they don't always deserve it. Bella has always worked for extra money and she always spent it on them buying herself the bare minimum and only things she truly needed, and yet some of those she went without. You are right about them being toxic, but the fact is most people in the pace Bella is and was raised in, strive for any type of family love, even when they know it is a lost cause they still strive for it. Imagine this, a young girl who lives with her single parent mother, who tends to be an outcast in school. The mother spends all of her time even holidays with the new guy in her life. The mother goes to baseball games, like going to see the Cubs for example. The daughter asks to go, but is told no that it is an adult trip only; however the guys grandson is allowed to go. How about the many times the girl ate Ramon Noodles for days on end, while the mom and her boyfriend were on a California vacation, visiting relatives that the girl hadn't seen for almost 10 years, the same relatives who that girl never got to see alive again. Yet after the boyfriend leaves the mom high and dry the girl is happy she is home. So in this case, somewhat very much like Bella's in this story (up to the mom coming back) are you telling me you think it is wrong for the girl to love that mom? Because my love for my mother is unconditional, does it make all of those things my mother did okay? NO it does not, but it happened it is a fact of life. Does it mean everyone is like me? Absolutely not, but until you've walked a day in those shoes it is hard to say what you would do. When you are raised in that situation it is hard for you to say what you would have done, because when you're raised like that it becomes your norm. My mother was a SHITTY parent for the most part, and she (God rest her soul) was never the perfect loving wonderful peaches and cream mom, but she was still my mom. I still loved her, and I still miss her and I will not be sorry for putting bits and pieces of my real life into this fictional story to show people that this type of neglect and abuse DOES take place and it breeds in us victims the extra compassion to forgive and strive to be better and not ever let ourselves falter from parenting our children better. I am far from being a perfect parent, but I strive to be the best I can. So it happens and good people do come out of it. As for the BDSM aspect of this story or the lifestyle as a whole, it is not for everyone. Neither of us are in the BDSM lifestyle, however I personally have done many hours of research and talked to many different players within the BDSM lifestyle. In speaking to true Dominants and Dominatrices, as well as submissives, I will say that this; I’ve never in my life talked to someone who was so true and caring of their other-half’s needs. The parts that you find offending are maybe offensive to you, for your own reasons, but they are not to them. The lifestyle is not for everyone, clearly, but it is not up to anyone else to tell you what is wrong or right in your life, your bedroom, your world. Sometimes I feel that people tend to think only their way of living is the right way, and this story is about overcoming the constraints others place on us. I understand you have all of these insights of the lifestyle as a bad thing, but if you take the time to really read about it and use an open mind to see it clearly it is not about beating someone like a dog, or treating them like a pet, it is about giving and taking what is given to you, freely and unconditionally. I am as I said not a member of the lifestyle, but I have an open mind and I find that honesty is one of the most important factors in any relationship and maybe that is why writing about the BDSM lifestyle appeals to me, because in the BDSM lifestyle there is absolutely no room for dishonesty. In this story, Edward’s parents know of his choices, as well as his family. Edward is not ashamed of who he is, and his family loves him unconditionally and therefore his choices may not be theirs, but they respect and love him enough to know that the man he is under the image he lives is still the one they raised to be a good man. Well without a doubt I think it is a clean sweep, everyone wants to either: kill, beat or maim Renee. Nikky and I both want to thank you all for telling us all of this. To us it means more knowing we were able to evoke those kinds of feelings in our readers, than any of you can know.
There have been a few people laying threats about bring charges or else I will walk from the story. I want to address that by saying, Bella is not as weak as she used to be, and trust that the cards will fall exactly as they should. Renee’s story is set in stone for us, and we will not deviate from how we planned it. Neither of us wants to say, Renee will go to jail and Renee will suffer this and that way ... What we want is for this story to unfold as it was and is intended to do so. All we can say is trust in us enough to know that we will not let a story go with things unfinished.
Now we do need to address the several comments about how Edward needed to step up and be the Dom and take control at the hospital and how Renee wouldn’t have been allowed to do what she did. Sadly if a person is an adult and is unmarried and doesn’t have a power of attorney signed over to someone else, medical choices fall to your nearest blood relative. Edward trying to control things would’ve most likely gotten him removed from the premises, and we’re sure you’ll appreciate how well he brings out the Dom soon. Some questioned if the hospital would’ve kept Renee out being it was her fault, but unless the police were involved the hospital is in a hard situation.
Finally we want to say again that we will continue to post every Sunday night/Monday morning, until the story is fully written. What's going on with Alice? Has her potential betrayal been addressed yet? I don't like her, & I don't think she should be trusted.
I also don't think that Bella should be hanging out with Victoria - she's another one that shouldn't be trusted.
And Bella...she NEEDS to grow up, & realize that there are adult responsibilities in life, & that it can't always be all about her, all of the time. Edward is stressed enough, trying to find balance, & instead of helping him or being supportive, she's acting like a selfish, spoiled child, pouting, crying, & sulking. She's only making things worse between her & Edward.
Edward has barely left her side since they've been together, & has ALWAYS been loving & attentive to her. In the short time that they've been together, he's taken her to Italy, Greece, Oregon, and done so many wonderful things with her that most people don't get to do or have in a lifetime. Esme has always been willing to babysit, & give her a break, even though she hasn't been a mom very long. Most women/mothers DON'T get that kind of break or free time, EVER.

I just find Bella SO ridiculous & petty. She doesn't seem to live in the real world. She thinks Edward should be up her ass 24/7, & when he can't for one of the first times because of work, she sulks & pouts like a toddler that isn't getting its way! Well boo-fucking-hoo! :(
All she's done is add to Edward's stress & guilt with her immaturity, further driving a wedge & creating awkwardness between them. Instead of being a supportive, understanding wife, or taking responsibility for anything, she wants to blame everything on Edward, & villify him to Rose.
He's been nothing but an AMAZING husband, lover, provider, father, & friend, & at the first little sign of trouble or mistake he makes, she's off pouting & only thinking of herself & HER feelings! She's incredibly selfish!!! Then she has the audacity & gall to barely speak to Edward, or hardly tell him she loves him. She NEEDS to quit with her drama queen pity parties!!!
And btw...I can't say that I feel sorry for Bella hurting her hand, either. A married woman with 2 babies at home has absolutely NO business going out clubbing, especially if she thinks she pregnant again! What if she had gotten hurt in a way that harmed the baby?
If she wanted to go out with someone as a friend, or have "girl time" somewhere other than a bar or club, then fine, that's perfectly normal, but she should've NEVER went to a club at night. She also had a feeling that something wasn't quite right with Victoria, so WHY meet her somewhere like a club? She should thank her lucky stars that she had Seth nearby.
But now, this is just going to be more stress & worry for Edward, plus because of all of this, they're not going to have tonight to reconnect - she'll be at the hospital. I just hope she doesn't get Seth in trouble by not letting him call Edward. And I also hope that she doesn't try to blame this on Edward somehow. She should've stayed her ass at home & loved on her man that she's been a cold bitch to. :(

Their security guards/bodyguards, as well as all of the security measures around their house must be pretty lousy, if someone can get that close! Either that, or they have a mole/traitor in their midst.
I wonder if Alice is somehow involved in this too? Could Jasper actually be in cahoots with Alice, all while under the guise of being the suffering, dutiful husband & single father? I wouldn't trust ANYONE at this point! I hope Edward is VERY wise & VERY guarded in ALL of his actions.
Another thing I wonder is, if someone was able to get that close, & watch them the whole time, then why didn't they just take Edward or Bella out right then when they had the chance? Surely whoever it was doesn't have that much of a conscience to care whether the kids were there or not. Most assassins/criminal type people wouldn't give a crap.

The whole meeting with Caius was kinda stupid on Edward's part. Not to mention the fact that he had several opportunities to kill Caius from the moment he walked in the door, but Edward choked - let Caius get to him by talking trash about Bella, which Caius KNEW it would. If Edward had been a REAL mafia tough guy, he would've just shot him right away & then there wouldn't have been any trash talk from Caius. Edward's plan from the beginning was to kill Caius, so why pussyfoot around about it?!?
WHY didn't Edward prepare himself by wearing a bulletproof vest or something? And WHY did he not have someone on standby at least - hiding in another room or outside listening in? It's hard for me to believe that Caius would come alone, so Edward SHOULD'VE prepared for that - as well as for what happened!
Edward claims to love his wife & kids so much, & I do believe that he does - he's a great guy. But what I CAN'T believe is WHY he didn't take ANY precautions whatsoever?!? I mean, he has a pregnant wife right now that doesn't need the stress from something like this. Did he even think about that?
It was all just SO stupid & risky! All it accomplished was Caius being killed, but Edward is now severely hurt too! Did he stop to think that Caius' people will most likely retaliate?! I can't imagine that they'll accept this, or take it lying down. It will probably start a war. :(
And for Edward to meet Caius at his own home - STUPID!!! What if the cops got called? How's he gonna talk his way out of that?! And WHY would you want to kill someone in your own home & have that kind of mess where your family lives, if you didn't have to?! None of it makes ANY sense! :(
He could've probably accomplished more just by having Alice killed. She IS the narc & troublemaker - the catalyst for most of the problems with Caius, for the most part. She will ALWAYS be nuts - a thorn in Edward's side - I don't see that changing. :( She would NO longer be my sister after what she's done - not just to me, but to her family.
It's a good thing he's getting out of the mafia business because he's apparently NOT cut out for it! That is, IF he lives. I HOPE he does.

I hope Edvard returns home swiftly & safely...and faithfully! I hope he doesn't cheat on Bella in any way while he's away!
I also hope that Bella isn't showing before his return because it might cause trouble. Maybe she can confide in Ro-se or Ester before his return, & let them know that she is carrying Edvard's child - they surely would put her mind at ease, or help her in some way. I hope she gets the little boy that she's been wanting that looks just like Edvard - even morso than Brandr does. B&E deserve that.
However...I must say that a lot of the Viking ways are very strange, to say the least, & I'm not sure I could live with a woman who not only used to be Edvard's thrall, but also bore him a son...who just so happens to be Edvard's mini me. It was bad enough back when Edvard had blatantly taken Jutta to his bed while Bella had to just sit back & take it, suffering, let alone this. It's just TOO much to ask, or expect of someone you supposedly love. :( How would Edvard feel if the shoe were on the other foot? He'd probably kill someone!
To me, it would also be very off-putting to see the man I loved not only have a child with someone else, but also not take care of him in any way, or take an active role in his parenting...setting back happily watching while another man raises his son. It's awful, really. Unlike Bella, it would cause me to have serious doubts about wanting Edvard to father any of my children.
In truth, Brandr is Edvard's first born, & a son no less, so technically, he is next in line as heir to the throne (or should I say chiefdom? LOL). How bitter will Brandr possibly feel someday when he realizes the truth of everything...when he notices how much he & Edvard look alike? Will he become like Jamar? I sure hope not, although I don't see how he wouldn't feel a little bit of scorn...especially when E&B's children will be loved & cared for by Edvard, calling him father...while he cannot, & never has been able to.
I would also not be able to just "forget" my God just because it had been demanded of me, or because it might "offend" them. Too bad! First, they kidnapped her, then made her a bed thrall (humiliating & degrading)...then, she has to learn their ways & their language, so she SHOULD keep her God, no matter what! Even if she has to do it privately, she should never deny God, especially for some pagan idols. I know I WOULDN'T!
But I DO love this story, & can't wait for the next chapter! ;)

Whether Bella realizes it or not, most women - most normal women who aren't sluts anyway - their hearts are connected to their vaginas. LOL I know mine is, & I'm actually glad. I could NEVER go through with something like this. I'd not only feel hurt & used, but I'd feel like I was using or hurting someone, too, no matter how "mutual" it may be. :( I could never sleep with someone that I didn't have feelings for, anyway.

So in all honesty, I think she was horny after going all week without, & came there to get hers, to get a thrill - have sex in his office. Bringing him food was nothing more than a ploy. She didn't even let him eat it! She acted all concerned that he hadn't eaten all day, but like I said, if she was, she wouldn't be selfishly sitting in his lap wanting to fulfill her selfish needs while knowing that he must be hungry...& that he wants "more" out a a relationship than just sex. It's like she wasn't even listening to him...or that she even cares. :(
I know I don't think like a man, but neither does Edward, really - he's sweet, loving, caring, & sensitive. That being said, he shouldn't allow this to continue. People always want what they can't have...maybe if he ends things with Bella, she will realize a lot of important things...hopefully learn a lesson. Besides, while he's fooling around with Bella, which basically is a waste of his time, he could be missing out on meeting the love of his life...someone who wants what he wants...someone who is normal.

I'm GLAD that Edward talked to that blonde! I'm sure it was innocent, though. At least he wasn't grinding all over her, or letting her grind on him like Bella had done with that idiot.
I'm shocked that Bella finally realized how unfair & cruel she was being towards Edward. She sure DIDN'T like Edward even just talking to another girl, let alone if he had done what she done! Let that be a lesson to her about how it feels, & how hurtful she was & still IS!
But instead of talking to Edward, or at least apologizing, what does she do? A classic Bella move...she runs away like a coward. :( She NEEDS to realize that it's all HER fault. He wouldn't even be talking with some blonde in the first place, if she treated him right, if she'd be with him! He wants her, unfortunately, for some strange, unknown reason, not some blonde! She NEEDS to grow a spine & quit living in denial!
What REALLY aggravates me though, is how she always claims to "love" him. I feel safe to say that she most certainly DOES NOT love Edward - because when you TRULY love someone, you DON'T do what she's done, & you don't treat him like she has. I believe that she honestly has NO clue what love is, so she shouldn't say words that she doesn't mean or even understands! She doesn't even love herself, let alone anyone else. She's too selfish & stupid to love!
Whether it's the friendship kind of love, familial, or the kind between lovers...love IS love. And when you say you love someone, you DON'T keep hurting them repeatedly, you don't take them for granted, & you don't string them along, toy with their feelings, or use & mistreat them - at least you TRY very hard not to do any of that. You care about their feelings more than your own.
I'm glad that Emmett at least called her out on some of her bullcrap! I mean, if dense Emmett can even see how STUPID she's being, WHY can't she?!? If she's as stupid as she always acts, then she really has NO business being a teacher. She NEEDS to grow the hell up!
If she keeps this up, she's going to be truly all ALONE, & maybe even homeless, although I doubt Edward would be that heartless. Honestly though, she deserves it.

HOW could she even begin to attempt to defend him KNOWING all of the damage he's caused...the numerous people he's hurt & even destroyed! She's pathetic!!!
Also, how DARE she call or even insinuate that Edward's a liar!!! The ONLY liar in the whole scenario is Bella! She lies to herself constantly, just like she's doing now by not wanting to face facts - the truth, no matter the situation. She also lies to Edward, as well as herself again, everytime she denies loving him, or giving him love...real love, not just sex. She's as big of a ho as Paul is because all she knows is how to have sex with someone - be meaningless & empty...cold. She doesn't have a clue how to truly love or respect someone. She uses Edward, or tried to, just as Paul used those girls. She makes me sick!
HOW did she not catch an STD from Paul, yet 30 other girls did during the time he was dating Bella??? Or did she have one & not know it like some of those poor girls did? Is she going to be sterile? I can already tell that Edward wants a baby - a family - & if Bella can't even give him that in the future, on top of everything else that's bad/wrong with her, then he should just go now - cut his losses. She doesn't strike me as the wife or motherly kind, anyway. And for the love of God, poor Edward NEEDS to get tested after being with Bella's nasty a**! *Shivers*

No matter how sweet Angela is, I still find it weird that Emmett is willing to date someone that used to be his brother's girlfriend...that his brother had sex with. It's also awkward that he would give her Edward's phone number & encourage them to meet for lunch. I dunno...personally, I just couldn't date someone that had been with another member of my family. :(
I also don't agree with Emmett defending Bella or putting any doubts in Edward's head, or making Edward feel bad in any way because Edward is right in what he's doing - he's doing the right thing for the right reasons - its not just about Bella! I'm SO tired of everyone babying her, tiptoeing around her, making excuses for her, defending her, & pacifying her...soothing her & catering to her needs when she NEVER seems to care about anyone but her herself. She NEEDS to grow the hell up at her age, get over herself, & realize that the world doesn't revolve around her!!!
She's NOT the only woman in the world who has ever been hurt by a man or men before. It's just a shame that Edward got sick when Bella was 18 & finally had the nerve to approach him. If he hadn't been sick, then maybe they could've got together & she could've avoided all of the jerks & losers she's dated. But then there wouldn't be much of a story, if that had happened. LOL I guess that's why it is said that there's a time for everything. ;)
I also wanted to comment that I just don't see the point of Edward meeting up with Angela, if/when the time comes. She's a part of his past, & it's almost always a good idea to leave the past in the past. If she's seeing Emmett now, then that's their business, not Edward's. She doesn't owe him any explanations for her actions - past or present, nor does he owe her anything. I just don't think this is a good idea with Bella's already low self-esteem & trust issues, not to mention that this could blow up into another Paul situation because he didn't tell her first...if he doesn't tell her first.
I think it might be difficult enough for Bella to accept that Emmett is dating Angela because of the fact that she will most likely be around more now. If E does decide to meet with her, maybe he could take Bella along, despite how awkward it might be for her or Angela. I'd rather be honest & have a little awkwardness than have something get blown out of proportion or start a fight.
As always, I love this story, as well as all of your others. I'm sorry, if you took my reviews any other way - I've always been known for being a blunt, brutally honest person, no matter what. I'm very opinionated, & if I feel a certain way about something, then I'll usually voice it - good or bad.
I just get so wrapped up or invested in a story sometimes - the good ones, anyway (I'm paying you a compliment) - that the characters almost become like real people...sometimes really flawed people that you just wanna shout at, shake them, or knock some sense into them. LOL I truly meant no offense. Just know that as an author, you inspired me to get involved, to try to interact with your characters, when often times, I don't.
Believe me, if I didn't like your stories, I wouldn't read them, nor would I waste my time reviewing, not to mention the fact that I always give you a 10. ;) Would I give a story a 10 every time that I didn't like? NO! LOL
Just please try to understand that everyone has a right to their opinion, no matter what. As long as they are not verbally assaulting, badgering, stalking or threatening you personally, or criticizing you or your work, then you shouldn't take such offense. These are fictional characters, after all, as well as fictional stories/situations - nothing that should warrant your anger with me just because I expressed my dislike of one of your characters actions - NOT you as a person or as a writer!
I guess what bothered me most is that you failed to either realize or acknowledge the fact that I have left you NUMEROUS reviews over the years on your stories, all of which were ALWAYS positive towards you/your writing, nor did you mention or take into consideration the fact that I have ALWAYS left you a rating of 10 here at TWCS each time I've reviewed a chapter, as well as I ALWAYS write that I "can't wait for more" with a smiley face at the end of each review. HOW you could've misunderstood me, I honestly don't know?!
Next time, please take the time to carefully try to understand where the reviewer is coming from, or why they might have wrote what they did - don't just react instantly or emotionally. Yes, they are your characters, but you shouldn't get so emotionally attached to them because that's the whole point of a story...there's always going to be a character(s) that a reader doesn't like whether they are the villains, the antagonists, or sometimes just a character who is deeply flawed. Otherwise, what's the point of reading a story where all of the characters are perfect? None.
I want to keep reading & reviewing your stories, but if your going to be overly sensitive, offended, or get mad at me, then why should I bother or continue? I don't want to have to walk on eggshells every time I review. I want to be able to say what I honestly think or feel, which I'm sure other people do, too. I just don't want to see you chase readers away because of petty misunderstandings like this.
As a writer, reviews are an important part, & should be valued whether good, bad, or indifferent - a tool for you to use to grow as a writer, as well as to be able to gauge others opinions. It isn't realistic for everyone to love your characters or situations all of the time.

Please don't get mad, but I feel like Emmett really overstepped his bounds by telling Angela that Edward & Bella had a fight. It should be none of her business what goes on with Edward or in his life. Emmett should have been discreet & just said that Edward had a bad day at work or something like that.
I know that Angela seems nice & unobtrusive, but still...she IS Edward's ex, who is now dating his brother...so Emmett sharing Edward's personal business about what's going on between him & his current girlfriend with her is just awkward...& wrong, in my opinion.
But like Edward said, Emmett isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so I guess this kind of thing is expected, though not appreciated - at least I wouldn't appreciate it anyway. LOL If Edward chooses to tell her his business, then that's up to him, NOT Emmett! I think Edward should definitely address the issue with Emmett...discuss boundaries.
But I do feel for all that Angela had to go through. That's A LOT for such a young woman to take on by herself. I know her mom was hurting, but what she did was VERY selfish & irresponsible. :(

Me, personally, I honestly don't think I would or could get involved with someone who was still so hung up on their dead spouse, & most likely always will be in some way.
I just don't think I could handle that kind of baggage - always being second, or even third in someone's heart or being compared to someone else, not to mention adding 2 kids into the mix who are probably going to see Edward as the enemy. It's certainly not going to be easy. Life is hard enough without adding any unnecessary stress to it, & I feel like that's what Edward is signing up for.
It would just be too much for me - a ready made, dysfunctional family, especially considering that Edward's got enough of his own problems to deal with. It would just be too overwhelming for me.
Edward's young, & probably wants a family of his own someday, I imagine. I just can't understand why he would want to get involved with this Bella. I doubt she'd ever want to remarry or have more children.
I don't mean to sound cruel or insensitive, but she DOES have way too much baggage. I think they should just stay great friends, otherwise, Edward will only end up getting the short end of the stick, as usual when dealing with Bella.

In later chapters, I will explain that Cygnarians go through something similar to Pon Farr (or blood fever) when they are ready to conceive. Women go into a mania and cannot really function when they are in the midst of this blood fever. Bella received an injection, preventing her from having this mania for another year. She needed to focus on her family, her planet and her responsibilities. It may come up in the next chapter. i'm not sure. Thanks for reading!!

Thank you so much! I know it's odd, but my parents were the same way. My dad hates to talk on the phone (my mom said that when she'd go home to Connecticut, and he was down in South Carolina, she was lucky to get a phone call that lasted MAYBE a minute, when they were dating). Edward already gave his permission for Bella to come to NY with him, so WHY did Carlisle feel it necessary to give Bella his permission? What if Carlisle would've said no? Would Edward have still taken her, or gone back on his word? I mean, Edward is her husband, NOT Carlisle, so I feel at this point that Carlisle is just being domineering & ridiculous. That can't be good for a marriage - especially a new one that's practically between strangers, if E's parents are trying to control everything. They trust Edward enough to run the family "business", but not with his own wife? :/ Edward needs to put his parents in their place, especially where his private life is concerned.
Don't get me wrong...I know in the grand scheme of things that they are only trying to protect Bella, but she's not a little kid, even though she's behaved like one most of the time. Lol

I'm glad that E&B finally confirmed their love for each other. It's about time! Lol I only wonder if Edward realizes that she's his mate? Surely he does, since he's ancient. However, I do have some doubts that she truly is his mate because WHY didn't he realize that from the beginning? Why kiss other women in front of her, or not act jealous or possessive when Jacob came barging in his house naked? Don't vamps recognize their mates instantly? What did E think of B when he had met her before in the past, when she was still with Jacob? Has E ever had a mate or significant other before, since he's so old?
I'm just wondering all of this because Bella's already been burned & hurt horribly by one supernatural being's imprinting. If Edward would or could confirm to her that she's his mate, & that she's it for him, THE ONE, then I think that would do wonders for Bella or any insecurities or uncertanties she may have.
I also wonder why B&E haven't had sex yet? And if they do, will there be any hybrid babies? I hope so! Lol :)
Also, why doesn't E have much money? You'd think with him being ancient & being who he is - basically one of the original vampires & one that's like a king, that he'd have money or access to money & resources. I just find that odd. I also think that he needs to tell Bella everything about his past.

Hello! Wow, thank you for your detailed review, you have asked some really excellent questions.
In this AU, I made it such that the 'mate' isn't always someone destined to be with the vampire, but that the vampire has a certain amount of choice over who s/he chooses to be his/her mate. So it's very much like humans - people can fall in love at first sight, or slowly. The only difference is that vampires can only fall in love once, and then they're irrevocably changed (I followed canon for this). As for your other questions, the answers will be revealed as the story progresses. You're definitely spot-on when you say that relationships are a bit of a sore spot with Bella. She is fully aware though, that vampires can fall in love only once, and in Chapter 15, she knows that Edward loves her :-)
B&E's coupling will take place in Chapter 19 ;-) Hope you'll like it! As for hybrid babies, we shall see! No spoilers ;-)
Oh yes, to answer your last question, Edward doesn't have much money because he works mostly odd jobs here and there that don't pay too much. I also imagine that the wealth the Volturi accumulates are mostly by theft, and now that Edward has renounced his position he doesn't really have much of a share.

I hope Bella gets pregnant anyway before she's changed. It's something she really wants & they are both sacrificing so much, been through so much, that I think this would be some true happiness for them. Edward will be mad at first, but he will come to love the baby, just like the original Edward did in the Twilight books. In fact, I think your Edward would make a fantastic father - finally give him a true purpose, beside Bella, in all of the millenia he's existed. I think a child would also keep him focused on his task of taking over the Volturi & changing things for the better, once & for all.
