Like I've said before...E&B spend way TOO much time having sex, instead of focusing on their baby, this threat, and doing something about it in order to protect their family. I bet Bella wishes she would've spent more time with her daughter now, instead of lying in the bed, & screwing all of the time!
Is Bella going to lose the baby/pregnancy from her fall?
I don't understand WHY Bella didn't keep her phone with her, especially since she had a bad feeling about Brady?! It's just another example of her irresponsibility.
After she heard the gunshot, WHY didn't she go to Edward's office first - doesn't he keep a gun in there? I thought he did. Wasn't there another phone in the house she could use to call for help first, or an emergency button that she could've pushed on the alarm system? It was really STUPID of her to put herself, the unborn baby, & Bailey in harms way, without thinking of other options first. Hell...lots of things can be used as a weapon - anything would've been better than running downstairs where the danger was, with nothing! Bella never has been the sharpest tool in the shed.
Seth should NOT have been her first priority or concern, as cold as that may sound. She SHOULD'VE been a mother FIRST...went to Bailey's room and locked the door, or took Bailey into a room that she felt was safe, and locked the door until help could arrive, or at least to give her an advantage at protecting them & giving Bailey comfort. Or maybe she could've tried to hide Bailey somewhere. I don't know...but what I do know is that she just isn't a very good mother, at all!
But since she was down there by Seth's body, didn't he have a gun that she could've grabbed?
I also find it a little odd that Seth was shot in the side only. It seems to me that the logical thing for this Brady character to do would've been to just take Seth completely out - shoot him in the head, and leave nothing to chance. I do hope that Seth survives...IF he wasn't in on this, somehow. It is possible though...he is, afterall, from the reservation, and blood is thicker than water...most of the time.
I also wonder WHY, considering how supposedly powerful Edward & his family are, that they have permitted this threat (Renee, Billy, etc.) to continue on for this long, which not surprisingly resulted in this?! I mean, doesn't the mafia make people disappear that they feel is a threat, BEFORE anything can happen? Just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I hope Bella decides to have Charlie taken care of, permanently. I know that morally, it's wrong to kill or want revenge...but, he's an unstable nutcase, who won't quit until he succeeds in hurting Bella, Bailey, or Edward in some way or another. He's too much of a risk.
Jacob got off too easy, if you ask me! I know that he's dead, but still...if he would've done that to my family, I would've made him suffer so much more than Edward did, before I killed him. I hope that if the same type of retribution happens upon Charlie, that he gets it worse! He deserves it! It was his idea, after all, to kidnap Bella, and use Jacob to do his dirty work, with no regard or care for Bella or her baby. An eye for an eye.
Planting evidence that triggers an FBI investigation, whether it results in anything or not, is just not enough punishment for him! He's scum! Plus, he's a cop, and could probably finiggle his way out of it, somehow.

I understand being in love and lust, and all that implies...truly, I do...but these two have way too much sex! Especially with a baby around. Sometimes it seems like they are almost borderline selfish & neglectful. I would've NEVER left my baby alone as much as they do, and have in the past - i.e. : leaving the baby (A newborn at that) in a swing while they go have shower sex. Anything could happen! But, this is just my opinion...from a mother's perspective. Not to mention that Edward seems to get up with Bailey, and do more for her than Bella does. Thank God that Bailey isn't a fussy baby!
If they didn't have a child, then I'd say go for it - have sex 24/7 if they want, go on vacations, go to parties, etc. . I'm not saying that they should neglect each other just because they have a baby, or quit living their lives - they are lucky that they still have that spark, and people who are willing to help, plus money. I'm just saying that there comes a time when you have to put your own wants & needs aside, even if temporarily - that's when you have children. They become priority #1...they become your focus. It's part of growing up, being mature...being a good parent.
There is also a time & a place for everything, like at night, when the baby is deeply asleep, and safe in her crib - not awake in a swing, or anywhere else! Also, whether or not she's too young to know or understand what they are doing, I could & would never have sex with my baby in the same room, or within earshot/close proximity either, like they did earlier.
I mean, they recently had two weeks to themselves in Italy, plus Esme babysits often...I just think Bella should appreciate all of the "me time" that she has been blessed to have, and start focusing a little more on being a mother, especially since she is going to have another baby soon.
Not to mention that her nut mother is lurking, wanting to cause harm. Geesh! First Charlie, now Renee! Edward sure did marry into a winning family - NOT! E&B both need to become more vigilant in watching Bailey for this fact alone!
This story started out so good...and was for a long time...but now it's just become all sex practically. Don't get me wrong...lemons are great, so long as they don't dominate the plotline/story, taking away from the substance of it. ;)

I just find it extremely odd that Edward & his family are supposed to be some big, scary mafia family, yet both times when there has been a threat/trouble - shy, timid Bella had to save the day - shooting & killing BOTH of her parents - saving Edward & Emmett the first time, then Edward the second time! Absolutely asinine!
And for them all being "mobsters", I think they are pretty stupid, as well as weak. Letting Edward go alone, regardless of what he said, onto an Indian reservation where they KNEW there was danger was completely ridiculous! Why couldn't Carlisle or Aro have ordered Emmett or Jasper to follow Edward? Why did it take 2 days (or however long it was) of them sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, and for Bella to be the one to go get him?! Why did Edward just charge in there like an idiot, instead of the trained, badass mafia killer that he's supposed to be? I mean, his daughter WAS at stake! Things SHOULD have been handled and thought out much differently...better.
As a parent myself, I DO understand why Edward was irrational, and not thinking clearly at the time...but what I don't get, is WHY Aro, Carlisle, or someone else didn't take charge, over-rule Edward, & handle things right? None of that stupid shit with Renee would've happened, if they had. Maybe then they could've spent some time torturing that sick bitch & her cohorts before they killed them. I was very disappointed - Renee got off far too easily!!!
Now, as it is, they've left Billy, and all of those other idiots on the reservation alive to potentially come back out of the woodwork again at some other point in time to avenge Renee & Jacob's deaths. If you are the mafia, you don't leave potential threats behind that might come back to bite you in the ass later! If you or your family can't or won't do it, then you send in a hit squad, assassin, or some of your cronies, and exterminate the vermin! They "disappear" like Jimmy Hoffa, never to be seen or heard from again.
I also don't think Bella is a very understanding person. She "says" she is, but she's most certainly NOT! She's very selfish...it's always all about her, and her feelings. In a roundabout way, I blame this on her to an extent...it was, after all, HER crazy parents that have caused trouble, and been a thorn in their sides numerous times since day one! I'm not saying that she can help who or what her parents were, I'm just saying that she inadvertently came with quite a bit of baggage, so to speak - and with that baggage comes responsibility and culpability, at least to some degree. Yes, Edward was stupid for putting himself in that position in the first place, but like I said, there wouldn't have been a situation if it weren't for Bella's psychotic mother!
Edward - her husband, and father of her children...a man who has been nothing but wonderful to her, NEEDS her terribly right now. However, she has yet to be there for him in any way. So what, she rescued him - I don't believe even that to be completely altruistic. It was more for herself, if you truly think about it.
Edward has always been so patient, loving, kind, and understanding with and to her...yet when he needs some of the same in return for the first and only time, she's pouting and thinking only about her own spoiled, selfish wants & needs - not to mention the fact that she's a lazy, lousy mother, and a total nympho!
It's sad...Edward really needs her love, understanding, & support right now, so badly...and what does she do? First, she pouts, making it all about her by saying, "Guess I don't turn you on, anymore", and her fake smiles, etc. - her typical pity party, insecure bullshit - which Edward definitely doesn't need to deal with, right now, or in a perfect world, EVER! Then the second time, she storms off, gets in her car, and leaves - essentially running away from Edward and her/their problems! She's so immature, cold, and uncaring...among MANY other things! I just hope my son never brings a nightmare like her home, someday!
From the very beginning of their relationship, she has been nothing but awkward, to say the least, and terribly insecure - him constantly having to assure & reassure her, and fawn over her. I'm sure that gets VERY tiring and annoying. Most men would've probably strangled her, or smacked some sense into her by now, and most likely dumped her whiny, needy, clingy, selfish, dumb ass! But not Edward. During all of this, Edward has ALWAYS been patient, understanding, nurturing, helpful, and supportive of her. But like I said, it's only been a week, and Bella can't seem to do any of that for Edward. :(
It's a shame that Edward always seems to have on these rose colored glasses where Bella is concerned - love will do that to ya! Edward needs to get his head out of his ass, regardless...and Bella needs a foot up her's! Edward has spoiled Bella too much, and now she's full of herself, and entitled. She needs to be taken down a notch, or put in her place, before she ends up behaving like her awful parents! She does unfortunately have their genetics, after all! If Edward can't or won't say something to her, maybe...hopefully his family will!

Jasper's reaction was shocking, to say the least! How did he get the journal? Did Alice betray Bella's trust? I wouldn't trust EITHER of them, from now on, if I was Bella, that's for sure! And I wouldn't have let Jasper leave without returning my journal to me! I just have a bad feeling that it's going to come back on her...badly!
As for Carlisle...I knew he was dispicable & slimy, but now, he's the lowest scum of the Earth!!! To do what he did to Edward as a child was beyond abuse! I'd LOVE to see something very BAD happen to him!
While I don't condone or approve of Edward's behavior at all, this chapter explains a lot of it. Edward, Esme, and now Bella are all victims of his abuse, both directly and indirectly. I hope that they can all get the help that they (not Carlisle) deserve, break free from Carlisle and his cycle of psychotic abuse and tyranny, and have a chance at a HEA with their daughter, whom I hope is never exposed or subjected to it.
I'm wondering if Edward even murdered Charlie? I know he stalked, kidnapped, & brainwashed Bella...I just feel that there's more to it, than that. Charlie was also a mean, abusive, uncaring/unloving person...maybe someone else done it? Someone he had beef with. Possibly Carlisle?
I am also curious about how much they sold Bella's dad's house for, as well as how much insurance money she was left? I was shocked that her dad even left anything to her. I know Edward & Carlisle handled it, but what did they do with the money, besides the bail?

That whole family is crazy! Even though Esme seems to be brainwashed herself, I don't understand what she could've told Edward to make him treat Bella that way. I thought she and Bella had a good day together. I feel that she threw Bella under the bus, intentionally or not! Edward & Carlisle are psycho! Their "methods" and treatment of women is disgusting!!! And Esme's right about one thing...she should have NEVER mentioned the dream! So yes, to some extent, even though Edward definitely overreacted, it was her fault! There was absolutely NO reason to have mentioned it. She KNEW that it was going to get Bella in trouble...she's lived this way long enough to know that! Yet, she done it anyway. :(
And Carlisle is the biggest douche of them all! One, for doing what he's done to Esme, and two, for raising Edward to be a nut like him! Third, for exerting his "dominance" and influence over everyone like he's some kind of family patriarch that is to be looked up to and respected. NOT!!!
Coming over to help his son "discipline" his girlfriend/wife, or whatever she may be, is just utterly insane!!! He should have NO say or influence in his son's home. Edward is a victim of his father's brainwashing and influence too, in a round about way. However, he's an intelligent guy, who has his freedom, and is out in the world everyday...enough to know and realize that this is NOT right or normal! It's a shame that he thinks that this is the only way that he could get a woman, or keep her. Bizarre!
I hope that Esme & Bella can get free, and get the help that they will obviously need. I was hoping that Edward would realize that his father & his ways were wrong, take control of his own life, and start treating Bella with true love & respect...but I'm thinking that it's never going to happen. :(

OMG!!! Everything Edward has done is finally catching up! Can't say I feel sorry for him.
He'll probably find some way to blame this all on Bella - brainwash her into believing it was her fault, then psychologically terrorize her some more...if he's able to! Of course, his dad will probably take his place doing that! I feel so sorry for Bella! Her life has been crap, from Charlie, to Edward.
I wish Edward could change, and they have a HEA, but I just don't think that's possible. He has all of these serious legal problems, now, plus he's lied to, and damaged Bella's psyche so bad, that I don't think it could ever be made right. My only hope is that Bella can find her way, and raise their little girl in a HEALTHY environment!

Dr. Hale was right...it could've been an asset to her - enabling her to take Ava, and start a new life away from all of them crazies! And if Edward ends up in prison, how will she care for herself financially? I dread the thought of Carlisle trying to take Edward's place! I wouldn't put it past him to try to have sex with Bella, and play the role of dominating husband to her, and daddy to Ava! *Shivers*

I'm STILL aggravated that he didn't really defend Bella when her mother was being mean to her. Why? Did he & Renee ever have sex? If so, ewwwww! Did Renee know that Edward was wealthy? How/where did they meet?
I'd LOVE some insight on Edward, and also his weird family! Does his family know that he used to date Bella's mom? Awkward! Does he even love Bella? Will this story have a HEA?
As far as Renee's call, I wouldn't trust her one iota! I'd be shocked if she even knew who Bella's dad was, since she's a slut. Plus, I think that the call is just her way of trying to weasel her way back into Bella's life. She's gonna shit when she finds out who Bella married, and that she's pregnant. I fear that she's gonna cause trouble! Please don't let Bella fall for this.

I know I don't have to read or finish this story, but once I start something, I like to finish it. That being said, I have to say that this story has really upset me, so far. I think that Edward & Jasper are BOTH extremely selfish, and are into each other way more than they are into Bella - meaning that they are both GAY, not bisexual, and just stringing her along out of confusion, or because it might feel momentarily good. It's as if she truly is a third wheel, an afterthought, or just something new to play with or experiment with, most of the time. Not to mention the fact that she's a good and convenient cover story for the two love birds and their precious careers.
Perfect example : Here it was supposed to be Jasper & Bella's date night - he gives her a bracelet, tells her he finally loves her, which even Edward hasn't done yet, then drops her off at her door, and goes to Edward's room to have sex with him...very loud, graphic sex, that they both should've known that she would hear! Talk about rubbing salt in the wound! Not only would I have been extremely pissed, but I would've puked, then LEFT both their asses, had I been Bella! Too bad she didn't "pout" and slam some doors...interrupted their rude play time!
It SHOULD'VE been Jasper & Bella's night, period - No Edward! Bella & Jasper should've spent the night having sex/making love, or whatever they wanted to do. She shouldn't have had to spend it alone in her room, listening to those two idiots! Then tomorrow should be her & Edward's time exclusively - No Jasper! I mean, Edward & Jasper are already going away for the weekend together, without her...how SELFISH can they be?!?
No matter what she says or encourages them to do, it's still hurtful and wrong to her. She's vulnerable and insecure enough as it is, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep them...putting herself & her feelings last, as usual. They are exploiting that, taking advantage, whether they realize it or not, ESPECIALLY Edward, whom I really want to strangle, then have his head examined! Doesn't he realize that she does all of this for him, really? Yet he can tell Jasper he loves him, but not her, yet. WTF?! Makes NO sense to me! He was willing to toss her away for Jasper - the lazy, inconsiderate, cold, cheating lover, from the very beginning, despite his loving, long, special history with Bella. If that doesn't spell out that he's GAY, I don't know what will! Shit...Jasper wouldn't even be half the lover he is now, without Bella...don't they even realize or appreciate that?! Not to mention the fact that Jasper could've gave him an STD! YUCK!
Anyway, if they truly loved or cared for her like they say they do, they wouldn't go along with it, just because she says so, or suggests it. They would include her in everything - tell her they love her - make her feel good, and worry about her thoughts & feelings, instead of just their own...put on their "big girl panties" like Bella has to, and quit their jealous, petty, immature behavior & pouting! She's thoughtful and considerate of their feelings, so they should be the same of her's, too! And buying her a bunch of stuff doesn't compensate for all the bullshit!
Hell, I've noticed that even in bed/sexually, they both go down on each other constantly, especially now using HER techniques, but rarely go down on her! They even "rim" each other, which is gross, especially for guys to be doing to each other, but yet, never do it to her. Plus, E&J sleep together in Edward's room most of the time, while Bella stays in her room...how's that fair or equal? They haven't exactly made her feel comfortable, like she's really, truly a part of them. What's up with any of this lunacy?!?
They certainly are getting the best part of this deal...they get to be gay, in a loving relationship, and are provided a safe cover, protecting their careers, all while getting to also enjoy all of the amenities of a wonderful girlfriend/wife, plus the occasional threesome (every guys dream), while still getting to enjoy each other. Not to mention that they both will also get biological kids out of this deal, which they would've never got, had it just been the two of them. They should be worshipping the ground that Bella walks on!!!
All I know is that this wouldn't work for me, AT ALL! I don't care what they look like, or how successful they are! None of it would be worth getting the short end of the stick that Bella does. Besides...I could and would NEVER share! But...to each their own.

Over the next several years, Edward and Bella became good friends, until the summer she turned 16 when she transformed before his eyes.

The behavior of those two is borderline ridiculous sometimes.
I also hope Edward waits for Bella, and in the mean time, doesn't do anything stupid like ignoring her, getting in a relationship with someone else, or sleeping around, all because of Bella's age, or because he thinks that he's not good enough, or she deserves better. He needs to forgive himself, and let go of the past, and focus now on what's right in front of him - Bella.

She IS the one who cheated, not Edward! She IS the one who chose to get an abortion instead of being a woman, owning up to her responsibilities and having it, not Edward! She has NO ONE but herself to blame for her misery...and Jacob, too, if she can get her head out of her ass & realize that! Jacob used her, plain & simple! He told her he didn't want his own child, NOT Edward! Her anger is soooooo misplaced. And for Carmen to allow this lunacy to continue is just ridiculous!!! That whole family is NUTS!
All I'm saying is that instead of Edward wasting his breath by telling Emily that he loves Bella, and doesn't want her, he NEEDS to just lay it all out - the TRUTH, like I stated above - & try to get through to the nut bag, instead of pissing her off more. He also should've called the police while Emily was there, and pressed charges on her for breaking & entering, trespassing, property damage, & assault, and then got a restraining order. Instead, he chose to be an idiot, and have a freakin' cookout! Now, it'll be her word against his...and she's the type that would definitely falsely accuse him of something, & get him into trouble! He's going to be a dad soon...he NEEDS to start using his brain! He also needs to take Bella somewhere unknown, & safe until Emily is taken care of. Hire bodyguards!
One last question...If he's such a big movie star, then WHY doesn't he have better security/bodyguards, etc. ? Emily should NEVER have been able to get that kind of access to him, or his home.

I just don't understand Edward's way of thinking when he says that they are too young to get married, yet they weren't too young to have sex, live together, or have a set of twins?! Not to mention the fact that Edward has already lived a pretty wild life - traveled extensively, lived life to the fullest, & sowed his oats far more than most men ever have - young or old! So him saying that they are too young is just ridiculous! I think it's nothing more than just a scapegoat for him...a pathetic, hurtful excuse that doesn't make sense. :(
I'm not saying that they should get married just because they have children together, & I DO realized how young Bella still is. However, they've made these life choices together & they claim to love one another deeply, not to mention that they already live together, so what's the hold-up?! Him waiting around makes it seem as if Edward wants to keep his options open, or doesn't really want to committ...which is bad for poor Bella in more ways than one! :(
If he'd marry her, maybe then some of these skanks & naysayers would hopefully finally realize that he's serious about her & loves her...chose her. As it stands, everyone pretty much thinks that he's only with her because he knocked her up. :( It would also soothe a lot of her doubts & self-esteem issues where he's concerned & show her that he IS in it for the long haul - that he's sticking around, truly loves her & wants to be with her for more than just their children's sake.

I think that Bella's mom really took things to the extreme. As a parent myself, I can understand her concern to an extent, especially after Alice & Jasper's horrible display at the wedding. However, Liz didn't handle ANY of this the right way, or take certain facts into consideration. Whatever happened between Alice & ASSper, shouldn't reflect upon Bella & Edward.
Ultimately...what it boils down to is the fact that Bella IS 18, and is an adult now. If Liz continues to act like this, she will only push Bella away. If she alienates Edward, then she will do the same to Bella. She needs to pick her battles more wisely. However, she's being too unreasonable and irrational to seem to realize any of this. Same with Carlisle, although I have to give him some credit for not acting as poorly as Liz. That being said, he still needs to lighten up, and not dictate to Bella so much now that she's a woman. It will only be counterproductive.
I only hope that Bella & Edward can make this work. Regardless of the age difference, they seem perfect for each other. I also hope that Edward doesn't go all noble and walk away, thinking that he's put a wedge in Bella's family, because it will, anyway. Bella will blame her parents, if he leaves, and the damage will be done. He needs to fight for her, if need be...stand up to her parents, and let them know that he truly loves her, and that he's NOT going anywhere. If he doesn't, Bella might think that he doesn't want her, or that she's not worth it. I'm surprised that Bella was as mature as she was during this. Proud of her. They deserve a HEA!
I definitely DO NOT want to see Bella end up with some douche like Ben or Assper! Now that would be a MISTAKE & a TRAGEDY! Her parents better get their crap together, and realize that it could be far, FAR worse! Edward's actually quite a catch - successful, handsome, mature, and he's someone they KNOW, whose always truly loved, cared for, and been good to their daughter. His intentions are good/honorable - he wants to marry her, not just have sex. That should tell them that he's NOTHING like ASSper. They need to get their heads out of their asses, and realize that, before it's too late.
As for poor Alice...I HOPE that she stays away from Assper. What he's said and done - not just at the wedding, but throughout the entire relationship, if you can even call it that - is UNFORGIVABLE!!! I wouldn't want someone like that around me or my child! He's got serious issues, and at his age, I don't see him being able to change. He's the one that the adults need to be focusing on, and angry at...not Edward! He's the one who took Alice's virginity when she was underage, then got her pregnant, whilst in a relationship with another young girl that he also apparently treats like shit! Grrrr! He makes me sick!

Alice's dad Gary doesn't sound much better. I wonder why she went to him, instead of going to Thanksgiving with her family? Is it because she couldn't stand the thought of being around a bunch of happy couples? I'm also curious if Alice got pregnant on purpose? I hope everything works out for her...MINUS Assper!
Like I said before...Bella's mom is going to keep it up until she pushes Bella away. I'm surprised she didn't try something even more stupid and childish, like inviting Ben over for dinner. That would've been epic! LOL

Well there was speculation that Alice may have gotten pregnant on purpose, and where I can’t answer that right now, that answer will come with the story. Some of you are having troubles reading the whole review reply at FFN, if you go directly to FFN and read there, you will get to read the entire thing, if I get wordy... which is most of the time. Liz is quite a piece of work, and I am assuring you now that the majority of your concerns and questions brought forward from Chapter 9 will be answered in chapter 10. All about Alice and Assper will come out eventually. We will also learn more about Garrett/Gary in the future when Bella talks to Esme herself. There are a lot of things to come yet in the story, and we sure are super stoked that you all are liking it so much. “I know, but I don’t know what else there is to do.”
“Maybe we could go out to dinner with her and Jim?” he asks as I shrug my shoulders. I really didn’t think anything was going to work. “Well, we need to do something.”
“Let’s run away and get married and then she can’t say a word about anything,” I say as he kisses my temple.
“As tempting as that is, I don’t think that would work. She would probably hate me even more,” he says with a laugh.

So virtually everyone has figured out that Liz (not Renee, who in this story is Bella’s hardly ever mentioned grandmother) is indeed pregnant. Liz is not too old to have a baby, in this story right now she is only 33 years old, women well into their early forties are having babies without worry, so she should be more than safe. Where you all have figured it all out, no one else in the story seems to know, other than Jim of course. Liz is currently out of control; however she will not bend or change anytime soon. Alice is a piece of work, and Bella is upset with her, but still loves her. You will learn more about what is going on with Jasper and Alice soon, we promise. Teaser: I open my eyes to see it is still dark out. I look at the clock and I see it is five in the morning. I look at Edward and he is sound asleep on his stomach with his arms under his head. Just as I go to wake him up for some morning lovin, I hear my door creak open. I lift my head to see Alice smiling at me. I quietly get up and we head downstairs. We make hot cocoa and go and sit in front the tree. Our parents still made us go to bed before they would put anything under the tree. I kind of liked it that way. Even though I knew Santa was real I still was able to have the element of surprise.
“Look at all this stuff,” Alice says with a giddy giggle. “Uncle Edward spoiled the shit out of you. From where I am standing I can count twelve gifts.”
“No way!” I say in a half whisper. I go to her and see my name over and over again. “Are there any stores open? I think I need to go buy him more. I only got him six gifts,” I say as she giggles.
“The gas station is open we can go buy him a box full of Twinkies,” she says as I smile.

Uh oh! Is Bella pregnant? She's acting awfully irrational & hormonal. LOL If she's not preggers, then she's just being her typical immature 18 year old self! I think it's cool that Liz finally said something in Edward's defense. It's about time. But Bella needs to chill. Edward is a good man, and if she keeps acting like this, she might lose him.
And Assper...what a fucking douche nozzle! The nerve of him! He absolutely disgusts me!
OH NO! Poor Jessica is preggers with Assper's spawn, too. I feel for her! But she should've known better when she saw how Assper treated Alice. But she's young and dumb, and will have to unfortunately learn the hard way. It's a shame that someone like him can procreate!
Again, I have to say it...he's such a slimy choad! I'm GLAD that Edward hit him with the ball. Too bad he couldn't do a lot more!

Well some of you are worried about Bella and her tantrums. Bella is very set in her ways, but she is still young, they will have issues to overcome, without a doubt. Not everything will be peaches and cream all the time. As for Edward being ejected from the game for the line drive to Jasper’s chest, we know we took some liberties there — but this is fiction. Liz is being a good mom, and part of that is telling Bella to use her common sense. Bella did over-react, but some people are emotionally driven and our Bella is one of them. I love that a lot of you love Bella’s not laying down and her ability to stand up and fight. I loved the Masen’s Little Slugger nick-name for Bella, I chuckled a lot over that. I want to share one of my favorite comments I have read in reviews so far... “A scrappy Bella is a happy Bella!” LOVE IT—just sayin’. As promised we would share our favorite line with you... Jess’s is: “No, I really didn’t hit her hard. That, or her face was just fat enough that it cushioned the blow,” I say as Dad starts to chuckle. Glad to see things are getting somewhat back to normal. It will probably be even better when Edward is finished. I know Bella is young, but she needs to give Edward a little twin Edward Jr. , soon! He would make such a fantastic dad. :) That being said, they need to get married first. Hopefully, that will happen soon.
I hope all goes well for Alice & Landon, and that she can find love & happiness. It's just sad that Assper made Alice feel as if she had to start over in a new place, and drove them away...out to California. Even though it's only a plane ride away, a lot of time will be missed watching Landon grow. I'm sad for Esme, and the rest of the family. :(

Well we are again so pleased by the turn out and response to this chapter. Yes Bella will be a tad bitchy in the next chapter, but she has her reasons. Let’s see how Edward handles it. A whole lot, like 99.8% of you are begging for more Daddy-Kink, and we want to share that where they role-play, it will not be all daddy-kink... With that said, there will continue to be daddy-kink in the story, and there will be play on the age difference. There will be time jumps, but they will start to lessen in amounts of time. There is quite a bit of story yet to go. We’re loving all the comments about Jasper and the ways you think he should be handled. I can’t wait to hear all your thoughts after Chapter 20 posts. My first thought is to knock his ass off the couch, but then he will probably follow me around and try to talk to me, and that is really the last thing I want right now. I somehow manage to get off the couch without waking him, and go to start the coffee before heading up the stairs to get ready for the day. By the time I am done in the shower, I hear Char crying and I know that my mom and Jim are up.
Just as I am about to walk out of the bedroom, I see the air horn that I bought sitting on the dresser. I bite my lip and think twice before I pick it up. What can I say... the bitch on my shoulder is rooting me on. Knowing what’s about to happen makes my day a whole lot better. I head down the stairs with a little pep in my step, and walk to the couch. I peek over to make sure he is still sleeping, and when I see that he is, I give the can a little shake and brace myself. I press the button long enough for it to let out a startling honk. I watch with a smug smile on my face as he flips off the couch, hitting his funny bone on the coffee table. Not so funny, is it? We make eye contact for a split second before I turn for the kitchen.
“That was very uncalled for, Isabella,” he says as he storms up the stairs. I high five the little bitch on my shoulder as I throw together some sort of breakfast. Jim walks in a little later with Char as my mother follows them.

Poor little Landon! He has TWO worthless parents - Assper & Alice/Malice.
Alice, whom I will now call "Malice", since the definition of that word certainly suits her, conveniently dumps him and all of his belongings off on Esme & Carlisle, but what about financial support?! Raising a child is EXPENSIVE!!! Didn't Assper have to give her a five million dollar settlement for Landon, a while back? Esme should petition for that money to be taken from Malice, since she no longer wants, or has custody of Landon, and have it put into a trust for his care & future. Malice DEFINITELY DOES NOT deserve to keep a dime of it!
I didn't think going off to college with a baby in tow was going to work out for Malice, although I was hoping. By the signs of neglect that baby Landon is displaying, it's a good thing that Malice gave him to Esme...even though she done it in a VERY awful, thoughtless, cold, MALICE filled way! It's hard telling what that baby has been through!
BTW...what's up with Jacob paying such close attention to Malice's Facebook page? Just seems kinds odd...or maybe he knows something?
A thought that crossed my mind is that Malice has ran off with Assper - God forbid! They both are extremely selfish, and this would be right up their alley. After this stunt, though, I'd say they deserve each other! Either that, or Malice has met some other douche that doesn't want her kid around - she wants to be young, free, and have fun. TOO BAD! She should've thought about that before she dropped her drawers & got pregnant! However, she's a careless idiot that's obviously easily manipulated, so who knows!
Edward needs to propose to Bella soon...they don't have to get married right away...but it would be nice. :)

Well it seems to be the general consensus that everyone thinks Alice is a nit-wit. Jake is just always nosey, it is his nature. Many of you think that she is run off to be with Jasper. A few of you think post-partum depression. There will be lots of answers and clue along the way over the next few chapters. Things will really roll along here story line wise. Many of you are thinking that Bella and Edward will end up raising Landon. I will tell you this much for 100% sure, Bella and Edward will not be raising Landon. Things are going to be a tad bit sticky here for a little while, but don’t give up on Bella and Edward. They have some growing pains to get past, and maybe a tantrum or two as well. Teaser: “Wanna go pick out a Christmas tree with me?” I ask Corin as we walk out of our last final. School is done for the year and I’m so happy.
“I would love to! Can I help you decorate too?” she asks very excitedly.
“Yeah, but we have to go see Edward so we can get more money. He doesn’t have any decorations at the house,” I tell her as her eyes go wide. “That and I haven’t seen him in three days, so it will be a treat in itself.”

In my defense though, he had it coming, so I took the spanking for the fact that was the most attention I had gotten from in since Thanksgiving.
Alice was to blame because everyone was so worried about her. I even met Garrett, and what a treat that was, and of course he was pissed. I did not want to be on the receiving end of that fight. He said he couldn’t wait to get his hands on Alice, but Esme called dibs. I have never seen Esme so mad before in my life, even my dad who always was able to calm her was having issues. My dad has been amazing though with Landon, and it brought back memories for me when I was little. Edward talked about flying out to LA, but he never did. I was thinking of going and finding her, but I knew Edward would never let me go by myself and he didn’t have time to do anything.

I think Ben is using Alice for the money, which is most likely one of the reasons WHY he married her - so that he would have a right to it. I'm curious as to WHERE over THREE million dollars has went already??? Probably in a secret bank account that belongs to Ben! Boy...Alice sure can pick 'em! Jasper & Ben are total LOSERS!!!
I HOPE that the remainder of the money goes to Landon, as was intended, and I HOPE that the other money can be retrieved and given to him, as well. That poor baby deserves it!
Alice is such a colossal dumbass!!! Cold & cruel, too! She basically stated that her love for her child was only contingent upon the father sticking around - WTF! She's gonna learn everything the HARD way, and she's gonna have sooooooo many regrets, but it will be too late! Young & immature, or not, this goes waaaay beyond that - she literally must be insane!
When everything in her life disintegrates, which I'm sure it will shortly, I would NOT be there to help her in ANY way, and I hope that no one else is, either. She needs to learn her lesson, and suffer the consequences of all of her ridiculous actions! What she's done IS unforgivable!!!
I still think Jasper is a pathetic, disgusting excuse of a human being - he's no man. If I were Jessica, I'd have contingency plans made just in case! LOL
I have a bad feeling that Ben also married Alice as a way to get at Bella, and try to cause problems for her & Edward. Alice is a vulnerable idiot that was easily brainwashed & manipulated, so he got the "in" that he needed, and took that opportunity. The money was probably just a bonus. He was bitter about Bella breaking up with him, and was always jealous of Edward, so I believe that this was something that he had planned...just waiting for an opportunity to present itself, which it did. We'll see...
I just hope that E&B don't let that little weasel, or Alice come between them. Hopefully they are smart enough to see what's going on, and take a vigilant stance now...they'll most likely need it!
I honestly hope that BOTH Alice & Ben wind up in jail...for a loooooong time, before they have the chance to ruin or harm anyone's lives!

Well not many are feeling the love for Alice, not that we thought many would. As I said only about 5 of you reviewers had previously questioned if it was Ben, Alice was messing with—so that was a shock to most of you. As for Ben hanging in and on for the money, only time will tell. Some of you are still mad at Edward because he is being so controlling, and again I just ask that you have faith in us. Edward has a lot of issues that he is going to start realizing in the next couple chapters and when chapter 23 posts most all of you will see a different Edward. Edward will be going through his own demons—let’s see how he fairs. Edward may be a jerk right now, but this is making Bella stronger. Thanks to everyone for reading and reviewing this story so much. Alice needs to f**k off, and go rot in Hell! She's an evil, selfish, manipulative, conniving little bitch, and Edward needs to wake up and smell the coffee. She's jealous, miserable, and her life is a big mess, so she wants that for E&B, since they are happy together. She could give a shit less about her "Uncle Edward". She's just using him like she does everyone else, to get what she wants! Edward needs to get his gullible head out of his dumb ass, and focus on what's really important, before he loses it - and when or if he does, Alice most certainly wouldn't console him, or even give him the time of day! Maybe this is what it will take for Edward to see just who Alice really is!
However, if I was Bella, I'd have my phone on "record" the next time Alice approached me, and capture all the evidence I needed - let Edward hear the truth directly from the horse's mouth! Although him doubting me, and refusing to listen to me in the first place...taking Alice's side over mine - him needing to "think on things" after I told him everything, would've really taken something away from our relationship.
Maybe Bella should become the squeaky wheel like Alice is being...then she'll get the "grease" (attention/time/love) - though it's a shame that she would have to go to such lengths to get something from the man that she loves, and who supposedly loves her.
Why doesn't Esme say something in Bella's defense?! She KNOWS how her little cunt of a daughter is! I think they all are just as guilty and culpable for Alice's behavior, since none of them have put the little bitch in her place! They need to TRULY cut her off! No job, no money, no family support whatsoever! She needs to be left completely ALONE! Tough love...

Wow the response to this chapter has been amazing, over 150 of you thus far have spoken out about chapter 22. First let us say ... THANK YOU for reading and reviewing. The fact alone that we have been able to instill so much emotion in our readers for the characters within this story makes us so pleased, that alone tells me the story has the back bone we wanted it to have. So, on behalf of Jess and I, THANK YOU for caring and showing us that you care.
Now we warned you that Edward would not be a favorite after this chapter, and Alice well we all already hated her. Alice has taken a presence in the story and stronger one than we first intended, however I think her presence helps show how much Bella is growing. Alice is still stuck in that kiddie stage, where Bella is showing that she is learning as she grows. If you remember, Bella has made lots of mistakes and acted out too, but in this chapter she showed not only that she is growing, but that she is and can be responsible and dependable. Many of you believe that Bella is pregnant, but she is not.
The next chapter is in Edward’s POV and we hope that you will all be able let your anger for him and his actions go by the end of it. Edward has a lot to say and some of the things he thinks about and even discusses will give a little new light regarding his seemingly blatant disregard of Bella over Alice. Edward never completely said anything in chapter 22, so chapter 23 is going to be his outlet chapter.
As for Esme, she has seen through Alice’s shit, and I think right now for her you will find in coming chapters she is trying to do what is right by Alice. Gary has made Alice come back to St. Louis and work for the company, because he is trying to get her under control. It wasn’t pre-planned for Edward to take her back to St. Louis, and you will learn more of why he did it soon.

I'm extremely pissed off at Edward for not defending Bella the way he SHOULD have. Family or not, you don't let someone continue to verbally berate someone that you supposedly love. Yet he continued to allow Alice to get away with her shit, which only made things worse!
And when he let Alice put even a single doubt in his supposed adult, mature mind, I thought he was as crazy as she is! Even though he KNEW in the back of his mind, and in his heart that the shit she was spewing was all garbage, he STILL allowed it to effect him and Bella.
Checking Bella's calls & e-mails because he had to be "sure"...I have no words. WHAT in the world would be the benefit of Bella telling Alice to get with Jasper, get pregnant, or give Landon up?! It makes no logical, sane sense, yet Edward fell for that stupidity! Bella never behaved that way when she was younger, or even now. She's loving & good towards babies - her sis & Landon. Edward SHOULD'VE known better! Shame on him!!! If I were Bella, I'd not only be horrendously hurt & insulted, but extremely mortified! He apparently doesn't trust or think very much of her...a recipe for disaster in any relationship.
My opinion of him is so very LOW right now. He's a spineless, gutless asshole who has mollycoddled Alice when she DIDN'T need or deserve it! What she needs is a swift, hard kick in the ass...and then some!
He said he would put Alice, or any of his family before Bella. If I were Bella, I'd be very concerned about what kind of husband he would make, especially since she would never be first in his life. He didn't even listen to her, believe her, or consider her feelings even once! He just took off with Alice, leaving Bella behind, not even bothering to call her. WTF! He said he needed some time & space...well, I'd give it to him, alright!
If I were Bella, I would question if this kind of shit was going to continue to happen? The Bible even says, "Cleave onto your wife". Edward would do well to follow that advice, and cut the cord from his family - especially Alice - and start treating Bella with the love, honor, & respect that she deserves. Put her FIRST like he should have been doing all along! She certainly puts him first - always has! She stood up against her family in defense of him & their relationship from the very beginning. It's no wonder he's never had a relationship last very long! He needs to grow the fuck up! He's TOO old for the shit he is pulling!
While I believe that you should love & respect your family, I also believe there are extenuating circumstances to that rule, such as with Alice. Alice doesn't deserve ANYTHING right now except for the help that she will hopefully be getting. And even IF she does get help, it still won't undo all of the damage and hurt that she has caused. I hope they all keep that in mind, and not forget everything she has done! I still wouldn't trust her either, no matter if they said she was "cured", or not! Edward saw with his own eyes that Alice tried to harm Landon, & how cold & callous she is, and has been! Anyone who would try to harm a baby/child is lowest of scum in my book, no matter their mental status!
Once again, idiot Edward never said anything when she tried to harm Landon - just stuck his foot behind the wheel of the stroller. WTF! I wouldn't have cared what the repercussions would've been...I would've literally tore her slimy little ass up right then & there! He acts all mouthy, domineering & controlling towards Bella, even when they're not "playing", so WHY can't he put Alice in her place?!
Once Alice is "well", what's he gonna do...allow her babysit or be around his and Bella's child, if they were to have one in the future, or Landon? I would seriously question his obviously poor judgement lately. I hope he speaks up about what he saw Alice do - it was a VERY serious thing - not one that should be swept under the rug! I wouldn't trust her any more than I would a pit viper!

Well hopefully after the next chapter things will be smoother for you all. Edward is still very much hated by the majority and I don’t know how to alleviate any of that hatred without giving away any of the story. Things in the story do cycle fast from here and there are only a total of 27 chapters in this story as a whole. So basically there will be a whole lot of info in the next few chapters. There will be some time skips because some things we would rather not dwell on and make each person suffer through. I'm so glad that E&B are finally engaged! :) However...I just don't understand Bella, & how she could even begin to have such weird thoughts or feelings during such a beautiful surprise, especially when everything was right in front of her face - from the dress that Esme bought her, to Emmett calling her "sis", & everyone's little comments in between. It's like, "Duh, Bella!" LOL
How in the world could Bella even think that Edward would go through such an elaborate set-up just to dump her??? It doesn't even make sense! Or that Edward would or could be so cruel or methodical, & that his family would not only approve of it, but help out??? Or how she could even begin to think that there was even the slightest possibility that he would tell her that he is gay??? He is, after all, a former, notorious manwhore (with women only)! LOL Did she forget that fact? Not to mention that he's constantly all over her.
I know that she was burned by her ex, but her thinking & reasoning is far beyond my scope of understanding! LOL
But...I have a theory...I think that Bella might be pregnant. Her mood swings/emotional state, her being exhausted, plus her "sea sickness" kind of leads me to suspect that she might be.

Whew!!! I'm SO glad that the baby wasn't his! :) But I'm so sad for whoever the parents of that baby is. I hope they get him back soon & that nut case Rihannon goes to prison!
That being said, I'm REALLY disappointed at Bella's behavior - running off without standing beside Edward, or even giving him the benefit of the doubt. Is this the type of wife she's gonna be - flighty & selfish, running at the first sign of any trouble or problem? I'm not saying that I don't understand her being hurt because I do! I'm just saying that she completely handled the whole situation wrong. :(
I also disagree with Emmett & Jasper keeping Edward from going to Bella. I think they should mind their business from now on.

I HOPE for everyone's sake that it's NOT Edward's baby. If it is, I think it will just ruin everything that he & Bella has built...& right before their wedding no less! This would definitely NOT be a good way to start a marriage out. Bella certainly WOULDN'T be in a baby making mood with Edward anymore, & possibly not in the marrying mood anymore either, not that I could blame her. It will also sour his family's opinion of him again, as well. Everything he's worked so hard to fix will be ruined. This just has disaster written all over it. :(
I do have to wonder WHY this woman hasn't come forward before now? Why would she wait all of this time, go through a pregnancy alone, cover all of the expenses herself, so far, & then ironically come forward right before Edward's upcoming wedding? It sounds very fishy, like she's only wanting to cause trouble or wanting money.
Besides, I thought Edward said that he always wore a condom with everyone from his past. If this is true, then unless one broke while he was with her, the child being his is pretty impossible. And I'm sure Edward would've known if it had broken, wouldn't he?
Does the baby even resemble Edward in any way? There are just too many holes in this woman's claim. Do the dates even match up between the time that he was last with Rhiannon with the age of the baby? Before anyone gets worked up, I hope they think of these things.
If Rhiannon really wants to push things, I'd call her bluff & demand a paternity test before anything further was discussed & promptly see that she was escorted off of the island. I'd also tell her before she left to only contact me through an attorney from now on.
I'd just hope & pray that by some small chance that it isn't his because like I said, I think this will really change things between E&B - impact them & their relationship in a VERY negative way, whether they can help it or not.
Bella has got "baby fever" bad & is wanting to have a child of her own with Edward, NOT take on or have to worry about some illegitimate kid from his long line of former flings, for the next 18 years, at least. Bella wants to be able to give Edward his first & only child, not some woman who meant nothing to Edward.
No matter how much you love someone or how understanding you might be, this would definitely be a difficult obstacle to overcome, even for Bella...especially for Bella. It would always be a point of contention between them & something that would get thrown up during every arguement, no matter if the fight was over the child or not. I mean, Edward thought his old villa was "tainted" & didn't want to live in it with Bella, if it was still around, so how do you think either of them will feel about this?! This is WAY more serious of a reminder than some bachelor pad!
If this turns out to be Edward's kid, he will probably withdraw & beat himself up with guilt & remorse & push an already angry & hurt Bella further away.
I just don't see this as being a winning situation, no matter what. So PLEASE don't let this be Edward's kid. The whole situation is already going to cause enough trouble as it is, as well as put a real damper on the wedding & everyone's wedding spirit. :(

I'm sorry, but I DO NOT feel sorry for Maggie one bit! My heart is definitely NOT breaking where Maggie is concerned. She brought all of this upon herself with her manipulative, lying ways. She played one parent off of the other - oldest trick in the book.
There are numerous kids in this world that have REAL problems, with truly horrible parents, or no parents at all, coupled with a terrible life. Maggie's only problem is that she has an entitled "princess" attitude that needs knocked out of her ASAP!
As I've said before, she's jealous, selfish, and spoiled - wanting to control her father's life without a thought about his feelings, wants, or needs. She's worse than a spoiled toddler needing and wanting all of Daddy's attention, and doing whatever she has to in order to get it. There isn't a kind or mature bone in that girl's body, that I've seen. It's hard to believe that Edward raised this monster! She's DEFINITELY Heidi's kid!
Last chapter, when she went trick-or-treating (at 16, no less!) supposedly for the hospital kids...I don't buy it. She doesn't strike me as the altruistic type, AT ALL! She probably only gives it away to keep her teenage figure intact. Daddy gave her gas money, and she got to dress up, go out and play, and have fun with her friends. Hard telling what else they did, afterwards! Not to mention her deplorable behavior towards Bella, which regardless of how she feels towards her, she was still a guest of her father's, and in his home! Her little slut friends wouldn't give it a second thought about screwing her "DILF" daddy. Would she treat them like she does Bella? I doubt it...she'd probably just roll her eyes, and say, "whatever".
She was willing to use her bitch mother to try to control the situation, so she could get her way - the nerve! Her mother has a significant other...and a whole week, EVERY week without Maggie to enjoy him (Felix). Maggie isn't that stupid, or blind. WHY doesn't she feel that her father deserves someone? I'll tell you why...competition. Maggie sees her as a threat to her spoiled, selfish existence, where she has E all to herself, his money, and manipulates him. She KNEW what she was doing by involving Satan Mommy...who has absolutely NO right to try to dictate shit to Edward, nor threaten him! Plus, she brought Maggie along with her - that speaks volumes within itself! I wonder what Maggie thought she would accomplish? It probably didn't matter, as long as she caused some trouble for E&B. Like I said...totally & completely selfish!!!
She blatantly lied to her mother to get her to come over and threaten Edward, and it backfired in her face...momentarily, anyway. What pisses me off is the audacity of both Heidi & Maggie - like mother, like daughter. What really pisses me off even more is that even though things have turned out the way that they did - Maggie still got what she ultimately wanted, which was getting rid of Bella - even if only temporarily. All of the focus and attention is back on her little spoiled ass, and she's revelling in it. Boo-hoo...poor little wounded, traumatized Maggie - NOT!!!
Maggie ultimately won, got her way, got what she wanted, despite the revelation about her mother's affair. If you ask me, Maggie is using this to her fullest advantage - while it may be shocking what her mother done in the past, it's nothing that should truly concern her, especially at her age, to the point that she's portraying that it is. Just another way for her to get and keep Edward's attention all to herself - playing off of his sympathy, concern, & love.
Maggie is old enough to understand adult problems & situations, especially ones that have nothing to really do with her. Sixteen year olds are almost always too absorbed in their own lives to really care what happened in their parents past, especially when those parents aren't even together anymore, and it really doesn't effect them. But Maggie...she has an agenda...and apparently, a vendetta, as well.
She's far TOO old for any of them to be coddling her and catering to her every need and whim. I'm not saying that Edward should disregard her feelings, but he shouldn't stop living his own ADULT life for once, either! He's always put her first, and NEVER done anything to jeopardize her well-being, so he deserves respect, and the benefit of the doubt. But Maggie is far too selfish to give that. She cares nothing about his happiness...only her own. Maggie is cunning & manipulative enough that she saw her opportunity, and she took it. The perfect wedge.
If Edward was my dad, I would want him to be happy, and not so lonely, no matter who he was with. Edward has never been irresponsible, so I'd have to trust his judgement of character where Bella was concerned. I'd realize and remember all of the time that he's devoted to me, and still does, and all that he's sacrificed for me, and still does! I'd be happy for him, and try not to interfere. "You go, Dad!", I'd say in my 16 year old way with a smile. But not Maggie. :( The ONLY way I would ever involve myself in my father's adult affairs/relationships is if I felt, or knew for certain that Bella, or whoever he was with, was using him, or was hurting him in any way. Maggie hasn't even given herself a chance to get to know Bella, let alone what she's like, or what her agenda may be. Another sign of Maggie's extreme immaturity.
I most certainly DO NOT agree with E&B staying away from each other while Maggie comes around. Maggie isn't stupid, and knows that she has the upper hand here. She will milk and manipulate this for all that it's worth. I have a feeling that if this is allowed to continue...letting his 16 yr. old. kid run & rule his life, E&B wont be seeing each other for a long time...if ever, if Maggie has anything to do with it. She'll come between them...cause so much stress and hurt, that no matter how much they love each other, this won't work. I bet she can't wait. It wouldn't surprise me if she didn't sprout horns, and have a gleeful, sinister smirk on her face, once the door to her room is closed.
Like I've said, Maggie is old enough to know and accept that her parents are divorced, and have been for some time. Bella didn't split them up. She knows & accepts that her mother has moved on...lives with Felix. Why can't her dad move on? Heck, the poor guy doesn't get all the free time that Heidi has & still does. Is Maggie truly so selfish that she couldn't even allow her dad a weekend of happiness, and some "adult" time? Yes, she apparently is!
In less than 2 years, Maggie will be gone...off to college I assume, and moving on with her own life, as she should be. What will Edward be left with, then, if she continues to get her way? I'll tell you...loneliness! :( I have a feeling that Maggie would try to run anyone off her dad chose to date...not just Bella. He better realize that, and quit giving her the upper hand. HE is supposed to be the adult, the parent, so he needs to start acting like it! Don't let her use, abuse, and run over him like he let Heidi. He needs to put his foot down, and set some rules for Maggie's spoiled ass. What he does in his private time should be NONE of Maggie's concern, nor should she control or have domain over it, whether it works out with B, or not.
Maggie also seems concerned about her dad's money...her potential inheritance, I assume. Edward needs to make her little spoilt ass get an after school/weekend job - let her learn the true value of a dollar, and how hard they are to come by! Take her sense of entitlement away. It would also give her less time to stick her nose into adult affairs that don't concern her. Give her the attitude adjustment that she so desperately needs!
Edward better wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late! He needs to open his eyes, and see his daughter for who she really is, and what she's becoming - she'll end up with a personality worse than Heidi's *shudder*.
And while Bella may be understanding, it wouldn't be wise to abuse it, or assume that she will just stick around, and take shit. She is, after all, young, too. Their relationship is difficult and strained enough as it is! Now this shit, all because Maggie wanted to throw a tantrum! She's putting A LOT on the line just to be with him - and while he is, too - she's not nearly as established as E is, which means it would cost her far more if things didn't work out. I'm sure this is all very hurtful to her, regardless of what she says - she's just trying to keep a strong, brave face for Edward's sake. Not to mention that she almost lost one of her best friends over E, which she was willing to do. She vehemently defended him, and their relationship. She's shown E her love...proven it to him. I think it's time he do the same!
I'm not saying for him to choose Bella over Maggie. He's right by putting his child first...but that's the thing - she's NOT a child anymore! Yet they all handle her as if she is! She's supposed to be a young woman - let her start acting like one! She's not that much younger than Bella! Regardless, he definitely needs to get his priorites straightened out - find a healthy balance - not just kiss Maggie's ass, and let her continue to call the shots, whether inadvertently, or not.
What would happen if Edward were to remarry, or God forbid, have another child? Would he let Maggie control all of that, too? Put his new child last? Sacrifice everyone else's thoughts and feelings for the sake of Maggie's happiness? When he lets her get away with her shit, this is the message that he not only conveys to her, but to everyone else - that NOBODY means more to him than her, and never will. She'll keep using this to her advantage until she runs Edward into the ground, eventually. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if Maggie didn't try to harm her new sibling, if she were to ever have one!
He needs to get this under control...get her under control, or else his life will be dominated, manipulated, and controlled by Maggie...and then he'll be left out in the cold once she gets her own life.
He can't feel guilty forever for Maggie's mother not being a very good one, or not being there very much. That wasn't his fault. It was a personal, selfish choice that the worthless bitch made. If Maggie wants to place blame on someone, it's time that she does so, but in the proper place - her mother! Edward more than made up for any shortcomings - done the right thing when most men don't or won't! That alone should mean something to Maggie. He doesn't owe her anything more other than what a parent normally gives a child. It's time E realizes that!
He needs to sit her down, talk to her like a mature, young adult, and tell her everything, especially about her mother - no bad mouthing, just no candy coating, either. She deserves to know the truth, and she's not a baby, anymore. It might help change her attitude if she knew just how much her father has done for her! He should be on the pedestal, not Heidi! He needs to assure her he loves her, that she's still first, still his daughter - which shoud be obvious, and then tell her how things are GOING to be from now on - starting with her excepting the fact that E has a girlfriend now - one that he loves, and that she will be coming over, and that Maggie WILL be expected to be respectful to her, whether she likes her or not! He needs to let Maggie know that her behavior is no longer acceptable, and will NOT be tolerated!
If they keep treating her like a child, that's exactly how she'll continue to behave. Time for a wake-up call - a reality check. I wouldn't allow her to run me, my home, or my life. It's ridiculous that he does, and that everyone else is willing to help him cater to her. He basically made the same mistake with Heidi by letting her always get her way, and run over him - never making her take responsibility, and grow up! Does he want history to repeat itself?!
Sorry to be so long-winded, but Maggie & her behavior upsets me, even if she is just a fictional character. It means you're doing a good job as a writer when you inspire such feeling/emotion from your readers. ;)
But please...some good ol' retribution for both Maggie & Heidi would be greatly appreciated! Put both of them in their places! And PLEASE...NO more feeling sorry for Maggie the brat! She needs to be punished for her lying - not mollycoddled and fawned over! She needs to learn that there will be consequences to her actions. She could've cost her father his job, his custody, and who knows what else! It could've cost Bella everything, too, not that Maggie would care - but Edward definitely SHOULD! No more tip-toeing around.

I think that in this complex of a situation, it is very mature and wise of Bella to take some time to think about all of the pros & cons, and not just jump in too quickly. There is A LOT at stake here...not just careers, but lives...feelings, and Edward's daughter. Bella is awfully young to take a relationship like this on, so she better be 100% certain that it's what she wants, and not just for the sake of lust. Taking time to evaluate your thoughts and feelings is never a bad thing to do.
However, they really need to sit down and talk, though. While taking time to think for herself is wise, she also needs his point of view on things, such as his intentions or expectations of their relationship. She needs to ask certain things, due to their age difference, that while they may not be important to her now...but in the future, might be, such as : would he ever consider getting married again, or having more children...stuff like that. Talking with him will help to put things in perspective for her. As long as they are both honest and up front with each other, they have as good of a shot as anyone. Well...as long as their workplace and/or Edward's daughter doesn't take their toll. I hope they can work it out.

You have an excellent grasp on things. It is a very complicated situation for all of them, and its not something they can just jump into rashly. Bella was already rash by pursing Edward at work, and an actual relationship is a lot more complex. THey will definitely sit down and have the talk they need to before they decide to do anything. Now, they won't necessarily explore ALL of those topics (marriage and children is a bit much for before you've even gone on a single date) right away, but they will have them eventually. Communication is going to be key for them. :)

I realize that teenagers are difficult - some more than others. But...despite that, Maggie seems not only to be exceptionally selfish and spoiled, but also an extremely rude, inconsiderate, immature brat!
Does she know, or even realize how much Edward has sacrificed for her? HE has basically been her only parent...HE was the one that wanted her and kept her...raised her, and struggled. Does she even care? Apparently not.
I realize that because she's been her father's whole world for 16 years, that she's most likely acting out of jealously, and feels threatened by other females in her dad's life. But she needs to get over herself, and realize how much she's hurting her dad. It sounds as if Bella isn't the only one that she's ran off.
It's a shame that she doesn't appreciate or respect her father. She denies him of any happiness, whether she realizes it or not.
Does she treat her mom that way? Probably not, even though her mom has a lot more free time to herself. Maybe she's inherited her mother's selfishness.

Yeah, Maggie's pretty awful. At this point, she's too immature to realize how much her father has sacrificed for her. Edward tried to shield Maggie from a lot of the problems with Heidi. She was 14 when they separated, and although he meant well, that might not have been the best decision in the long run.
Yes, she's very jealous of the idea of another female in his life. And the status quo has been shaken up. She'd be happier if things just went back to "normal" and her parents got back together. She doesn't understand how unhappy her father was with Heidi.
Well, Heidi certainly lets Maggie get away with being a spoiled, selfish brat. So yes, she does treat her mom rudely and disrespectfully. She's not as selfish as Heidi, because Edward has tried very hard to curb that. But she has a long way to go before she grows up and sees the full picture. I'm certainly going to do my best to get here there!

I'm sorry, but I still feel that Maggie is being selfish and manipulative. She's no fool, and seems to be definitely using this situation to her fullest advantage...playing upon her father's sympathy...keeping all of his attention and focus solely on her. That is, after all, what she admitted to Edward that she wanted...why she disliked Bella...the crux of everything. And what do ya know...she's getting exactly what she wants!
Honestly...an affair(s) that her mother had years ago, as well as her parents divorce, which is also way in the past, shouldn't be effecting her to this extent all of the sudden. I could understand her being sad or depressed, or lashing out like she is...IF she was much younger, or IF it was something that just happened recently, or IF she was really close with her mother, but none of this is the case. While I realize that people handle things differently, this has just gone too far.
To me, she saw an opportunity quickly arise from the ashes of her other failed devious plot, and she took it, and ran with it. Plus, this supposed grudge that she has with her mother now is just another added bonus. As long as she doesn't speak to, or make up with her, she gets to stay with Edward full time...cutting in to the weekends...which she knew, or at least figured out was E&B only time together.
And even though she was punished, which if you ask me, Edward was too lenient with her, she's STILL getting her spoiled little way. Attention is attention, whether it be positive or negative, especially when you're a spoiled brat like Maggie. And what's two weeks without her car or hanging out with friends compared to what Edward and Bella are having to suffer through? At least she still gets to see her friends at school, in the meantime.
Don't get me wrong...I agree that her father should be there for her always, which he certainly HAS been. However, what I don't agree with is him putting his life on hiatus over this. He's already had his life basically on hiatus for the last 16 years at least, as it is! He can be there for Maggie, and still live his life, too.
Now she's getting help from a therapist, which is just more attention for her, despite her acting like she doesn't want to go. That's just more of her ploy.
To me, therapy for this situation is a bit extreme, and really not necessary. She doesn't need it. What she NEEDS is a reality check....a wake-up call. But most of all, she NEEDS to grow up, and get over herself!
She's only got two years or less before she's out in the real world, and she needs to realize and learn NOW that the world DOES NOT revolve around her, nor does it go your way, most of the time. She has such a sense of entitlement that when she gets out there, she'll be in for a very rude awakening when she sees that no one else will cater to her ass, or put their lives on hold, or tolerate her shit like her father has, just because she's sad, upset, jealous, pouting, or throwing a tantrum.
Also, by Edward putting his life on hold indefinitely, he's given Maggie ALL of the power and control. He's really weakened his position by indulging her every whim, whether he realizes it, or not.
He's also sending Maggie mixed messages where Bella is concerned. He tells Maggie that he loves Bella, and that she's going to be a part of their lives, but then keeps Bella away, contingent upon Maggie's "healing". Kids aren't stupid...especially teenagers, and like I've said before, Maggie knows exactly what she's doing. At this rate, with this knowledge and power that she's been unwittingly given, she will drag this out as long as she can...and Bella won't be back around for a long time, if ever! Good thing she bought a vibrator! LOL! However, I bet that if E&B broke up, Maggie would suddenly make a miraculous recovery.
It's really no wonder that Heidi ran over Edward for years. He's a push over, and allowed it, no matter the excuse or reasons! And now he's making the same mistake with Maggie by allowing her to run the show, and control his life! She'll be another Heidi, or worse, if he doesn't nip her shit in the bud, as well as his own! He's being played by his daughter - big time!
Edward needs to put his foot down, and give Maggie some tough love for once...make her put on her big girl panties, and let learn that life is hard, and that "shit happens" - most of which is usually out of our control. Better she learn that now than later. She also needs to learn that she is the child, and Edward is the parent - a very good one at that - and that she should be thankful for him, and start respecting him, his life, and anyone who is in it! She SHOULD want him to be happy. He deserves it! She also needs to learn that her feelings are not the only one's that matter.
Please don't take offense at any of this. It's all toward Maggie, not the story. I love the story, and just want to see Maggie get her little ass straightened out! LOL

First of all, I'm not offended. And I really do love that you are so invested in the story that you're passionate about it.
I am really hesitating to say to much until you read through the next few chapters though. Because you're going to get a chance to see Bella and Maggie interact and I really think that might change your opinion on her after that.
I will say this though. Warranted or not, her feelings toward her mother are genuine. I think it depends very much on the person involved, but I know several people who had a parent who cheated on the other, and they were very, very hurt by it. And although it happened two years prior, Maggie is just learning about it now. To her, it's much more recent.
Either way, her wanting to stay with Edward is not a manipulative move on her part. She has lost respect for her mother, and is trying to sort through some very confusing, hurtful feelings. In addition, her mother is dating the man who Heidi betrayed Edward with. Heidi isn't the type to ask Felix to step back for a bit while Maggie works through this, and Felix certainly wouldn't think to do that on his own.
You'll see a shift in the way all of them are interacting over the next few chapters, and I hope your opinion of Maggie slowly changes.

I agree with Edward about not wanting to impose his beliefs on his children, & allowing them to become their own person...however, if my child made a decision to do something that they KNEW that I am TOTALLY against, & would NOT approve of, while using MY money to fund it, then it WOULD become MY business, & be a matter of MY beliefs!
To me, what she did was extremely disrespectful because in essence, she used her parents money to have a fetus, a tiny, budding human life terminated...killed. :(
Abortion is unfortunately everyone's quick & easy answer out of irresponsibility anymore...no one hardly ever wants to think of, or try take any alternate paths to avoid this senseless loss of life. :( Not only should she have never went along with her friend in this, but she should've also tried to talk to Mackenzie about different options.
So no matter what Kyra's beliefs may be when she's an adult & is able to make her own decisions, for now, as her parent, I would feel responsible for what she did, & I would explain that to her...that because she used MY money for that dispicable act, I am now just as guilty of having a part in taking that baby's life. :( They NEED to make this real for her, not just a slap on the wrist, or swept under the rug. They need to make her understand the true consequences behind such actions! Otherwise, how is she going to truly learn?
Not to mention the fact that not only did Kyra lie in order to get the money, but she also hid the truth all of this time. To me, that is being a sneak, & I'm afraid that I just couldn't trust her anymore, either. :(
I think Kyra got off WAY TOO EASY for all of this!!! I mean, she only got punished for leaving the house without a bodyguard...in which she could've been harmed, kidnapped, raped, or even killed by Jacob! She came SO close, & didn't even realize it!!! No matter how bad she was feeling, she once again done a VERY foolish, thoughtless thing!!! :(
I'm a firm believer in what goes around, comes around, so I do find it funny how karma is sort of paying Kyra back in a way, as far as her being bullied/picked on. She done the same thing to Owen, her own brother, who seems to be nothing but a shy, sweet guy. She hurt & tortured him relentlessly with all of her evil, bitchy friends, & only stopped because her parents intervened, not because she felt bad, or wanted to! So...I don't really feel too awful bad for Kyra. I think she's nothing but what her nickname indicates : a spoiled principessa. :( I just hope that karma doesn't have a way of "paying her back" in the future for helping fund the abortion as well.

Jasper means well, but only seems to make things worse...along with Alice. If Bella didn't want to leave, she should've understood, and left her alone - respected her wishes as true friend. But of course she didn't - she's too selfish for that.
Jasper shouldn't speak or assume anything for or about Edward anymore, either. That's not being a very good friend to him.
And Emmett...what a cocksucker! He needs to come up missing next, before he becomes a problem. I hope Bella tells Edward everything.
As for CJ, I don't trust him. He seems shady.
And Rosalie...crushing on a married CJ, but wanting a commitment from Emmett - they deserve each other. Then Rosalie getting jealous when CJ showed Bella some attention (which I thought CJ was a bit creepy, btw). She needs to be watched...I don't know if I trust her or not. I think it all went over Bella's head.
Bella needs to get help...talk to someone. She can't keep lying to everyone about everything, including herself. I'm glad that she has Edward, though. He seems to be the only one that can help her right now, so everyone else just needs to butt out! In the short time that he has been around Bella, he was able to figure out what was going on, and help her...no one else had done that in all the time she was with Jake, so Jasper needs to cut Edward some slack. He's done far more for Bella in just the short time that he's been there than Jasper has done always, or her friends...or CJ.

There have been times when I may not have liked certain characters that you, or other writers have created, but the fact that the character(s) incited/inspired me to review, or to be passionate about them/dislike them, should be taken as a compliment...at least from me it is. LOL ;) I look at it as a sign that you are doing a great job as a writer. Not all characters can be perfect - there's no such thing. If they were, all stories would be pretty boring & dull.
Think of it this way...lots of people criticize Stephenie Meyer all the time, and even bigger authors such as Stephen King, but to each their own. They laugh all the way to the bank, regardless of what idiots may think! Maybe someday, you can too! ;)
Everybody has an opinion - some nicer than others...but who cares? Opinions are like assholes...and some people say things just to be mean spirited, or to try to get a rise out of you.
I realize that you do this for free, which is amazing in itself...but to be a good as you are, and continue to give so many people the great entertainmant that you do for free, I DO understand how any negative comments could be disheartening. But please...ignore them. I know that's easier said than done, but please try not to let them dissuade you. You are so much better than that...so much more as a writer.
And your Mobward fics are certainly NOT in the dime a dozen class! Yours are the BEST out there, bar none! Please BELIEVE & KNOW that! I've been a fan of ALL of your stories since I started reading at FanFiction in 2011, and followed you here whenever your stories have been ridiculously & wrongfully pulled.

I have never really trusted Carlisle, and honestly, I don't know if I trust Jasper anymore, either. He's been acting strange, & has been awfully secretive lately. Not to mention that he's with Alice now, which makes him more important to Carlisle than Edward, for now, even though Jasper isn't half the man that Edward is, and never will be.
I don't think Jasper would hurt Bella or the baby purposely, but he's naive, & I think he's underestimated how slimy Alice's dad is, and may be a bit blinded by love & possibly greed.
Ultimately, I think all of this stuff is happening lately because Carlisle feels threatened by Edward. He probably fears that Edward may try to take him out, & take over everything, which he definitely SHOULD, & hopefully WILL! Carlisle is a snake - one who turned on his own son. He also is the one who mentioned calling Elizabeth to Edward in the hospital, and then lo & behold, she mysteriously knows everything, and is in touch all of the sudden.
Bella's definitely right when she says that Carlisle & Esme aren't blood...Edward should do well to remember that, especially considering what happened to CJ - Carlisle's own blood! Not to mention Riley - one of Carlisle's top men - easily disposed of over some petty shit to do with Alice. Who knows if she was even telling the whole truth about her & Riley. I think she says & does a lot of things for attention. She's spastic, immature, she lies & exaggerates - is a drama queen...not to mention a total slut.
Carlisle is only throwing this big party for E/B/& Little Eddie for appearance sake - to portray himself to be the "good guy", not because he loves them, or gives a shit, so I hope that doesn't sway Edward in any way. I can almost guarantee that he knew that those guys were coming to clip Edward. You're not in Carlisle's position, and not be aware of what's going on. Hell, he seems to know everything else that's going to happen beforehand. So I believe he knew, and most likely set it up. No unmade guys are gonna even attempt something like that without some sort of permission or instruction first, unless they are stupid, crazy, or have a death wish.
Another slimy thing Carlisle done recently is having Edward do his dirty work for him & Jasper by killing Riley, even though it was beef between Jasper & Riley - over Carlisle's skank daughter Alice, no less. But I guess as long as he keeps Alice happy, Jasper's in Carlisle's good graces. Jasper SHOULD have been the one to handle his own business with Riley...not just the clean-up, and then act like a pussy. Now the F.B.I. has paid Edward a visit, and most likely, Carlisle that set that up, as well.
Carlisle reminds me of that old saying about your worst enemies come with smiling faces. Edward better wise up about Carlisle...keep his eye on Jasper, too, before it's too late!
I'm so glad E/B/& Little Ed got through everything okay. I just hope that everyone that has it comin', gets it!

UGH! I wanna strangle those two - E&B - for being so frustrating...awkward and practically mute. Neither one knows how to act or talk to the other one right, causing misunderstandings when there doesn't need to be! And Rosalie needs a kick right in her selfish, rude ass!
I know she's young, but Bella seriously needs to grow up a little, and get some new friends. She's already confused enough as it is without those two twits - Alice & Rose - filling her head with their crap. Like either one of them are running their lives in any good, productive, positive way - neither one of them knows their asses from a hole in the ground. Doesn't Bella see that? Surely she's not that dumb. Every one of them, including Jasper...especially Jasper, need to mind their business! She IS an adult, just as they are, so they all need to keep their noses to themselves, and worry about their own screwed-up lives!
Maybe if they keep their comments/input to themselves, and quit treating her like some mindless child, Bella can finally blossom, mature, figure shit out...or at least have a chance to live HER life the way that SHE wants to...even if it's just being with Edward, having a baby, getting married, going to beauty school, or anything else she may decide.
Lastly, I HOPE Bella doesn't do anything STUPID like abort the baby. I will be so pissed & disgusted with her! And shame on slutty ass Alice for even suggesting something like that. I definitely wouldn't want my brother dating her skanky, annoying ass! If Bella was woman enough to lie down & make a baby, then she needs to be woman enough to not only tell Edward (he has the right to know!), but to also KEEP the baby, and any consequences. Screw what Jasper or anyone else says or thinks besides her & Edward. It will be THEIR baby, afterall.
If she is pregnant, I hope that she doesn't keep it from him for a long time, acting all weird, and causing more of a wedge. Edward don't know how to act around her because she confuses him...but he also needs to speak up and tell her how he truly feels. Maybe then she wouldn't be so unsure, and insecure! He is the older one, after all. He needs to take charge of this situation before it's too late.

I understand that Bella is troubled, BUT it goes way beyond that. She's extremely immature, not to mention stupid! I just wanna smack her...several times!
She NEEDS to tell Edward about the baby, NOW! She also needs to quit listening to everyone's shitty advice & opinions, and take control of her own life! It's like the blind leading the blind, with all of them.
Alice needs her skanky ass beat for giving Bella the money for an abortion! A baby is a blessing and a gift...a human life, and not something you can just get rid of, and sweep under the rug because of irresponsibility! If Bella aborts it, she'll feel guilty, and never forgive herself. It will likely depress her even more, to the point where she may harm herself.
Alice needs to keep her nose out of Bella's business, and let Bella handle herself as the adult that she's supposed to be. She only gets Bella more confused, if that's even possible. What would Jasper think of Alice giving Bella money to have an abortion? I'm sure he would be disgusted with both of them (A&B), as he should be.
Bella is most likely going to be a mother soon, which is a scary thought. Like I said, she's very immature, and fatalistic. She apparently didn't eat or bathe for almost a week, even though she knew she was pregnant. So actually, she has already tried to harm the baby, whether she meant to, or not. She needs help, and she seriously needs to grow up. She needs to tell Edward, so they can get their shit together. She's gonna need him...and so will that baby. Bella isn't stable enough to take care of herself, let alone be a mother on her own.
He loves her so much, and she's too stupid to see it. She confuses him, plays games, hides things, and lies, so I can't really fault Edward too much for handling things the way he has. I hope she doesn't blow this, and I hope that he tells her how he feels. It definitely time!

I bet Alice left out the little tidbit about her giving Bella money for an abortion, and encouraging her to do it! I also wonder if she left the fact out that Edward didn't even know that Bella was pregnant? I wouldn't doubt it.
She's no friend to Bella, not that I ever thought she was...Rosalie, either. But Alice, she betrayed Bella, in one of the worst ways. She betrayed her trust.

I honestly don't blame Edward for being mad because more often than not, a kiss usually leads to other things. Bella's lucky that he believed that nothing else happened, because most guys wouldn't have.
Bella failed to realize that whether she wanted Jacob to kiss her or not, the point of the matter is the fact that she kept putting herself in that position.
Just because your dad is friends with someone doesn't mean you have to tag along, or befriend them as well, especially when you have a boyfriend that you supposedly love & respect, and you know that this one wants to be more than friends! I'm sure that if Bella would've told her dad what Jacob did, he wouldn't have expected her to be friends with him anymore.
With the way that Jacob was acting at that time, I would've been concerned that he might be the type to force himself on Bella, and then claim she "wanted" it, and wanted him, like he delusionally, yet obviously thought at that time.
I also agree with Edward 100% when he tried to get Bella to understand where he's coming from by hypothetically putting her in his place, asking how she would feel if he were to hang out all of the time as "friends" with other girls, especially ones that were known to like him in more than a friendly way. As you can see, she didn't like it one bit, so how did she think Edward felt when she was actually doing it all of the time?!
And I must say that while Edward seemed very loving, devoted, & attentive, Bella seemed to be a bit of a cold fish, as well as selfish at that time, & was giving off that confused, playing both sides of the fence type vibe that a lot of teenage girls will unfortunately do between two guys, causing trouble.
Not to mention that she considered being dishonest about what happened with Jacob. It would make me wonder what else she might be hiding. So considering Edward's temper, & who he is/his family is, I think he took it fairly well - better than most guys would've.
On another, yet related note, I understand Bella was hurt over her dad, & that she wanted to go off to attend college, & make something of herself.
However, I think that she totally went about it the WRONG way, which again, showed her selfish, inconsiderate nature, especially where Edward seemed to be concerned.
As much as he truly loved her, he would've never held her back, and would've probably came along, or done whatever she wanted, but instead, she chose to hurt him terribly, for no real good reason!
Besides her career, what did leaving & cutting almost everyone out of her life really accomplish?
I'm sure it hurt Edward even more to find out that one of the few people that Bella kept in contact with was Jacob of all people!
Now she's back, but with a ton of baggage, a kid, & unresolved feelings on both parts, on top of wanting their help. I hope she realizes what a big part she played in all of this chaos, and that most of it IS her fault.
If I were Edward, I'd tread very carefully because Bella seems to be the flighty sort, and he might get hurt again.
Although I don't care for Esme at all...she's a total bitch, and I think that she goes about things completely the wrong way - very childishly for a woman of her age, I can however understand her as a mother wanting to protect her son, no matter how old he is, from Bella, who had hurt & betrayed him so much in the past. Not to mention that she doesn't know the whole story behind Bella's kid, and that it's not biologically hers.
Before I go, a few quick questions I've been meaning to ask - a little off subject here...but what ever happened the night that Edward rode Tanya home from her "work" on his bike, a few chapters back? I hope that he didn't do anything with that nasty, diseased skank! I don't think she even washed after filming her porn, before Edward picked her up. So gross! It's bad enough that he was married to that other crack whore Vicky! What the hell was he thinking marrying her, anyway?! LOL

Bella claims to be so independent, but what she fails to realize is that she has NEVER truly been independent because she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, & has ALWAYS had her daddy & his money to rely on...so she's NEVER had ANY real life responsibilities or worries. So her saying that she's "independent", or even attempting to be is a complete joke!
She relies on Edward A LOT, too, & did so even before her kidnapping, yet she doesn't seem to realize just how much she does, & will still NEED to, nor does she ever seem truly appreciative. He should let her go completely, & then she'll see just how much she needs him...maybe it will help her to be more grateful!
She has this silly notion of moving into her own place, at the worst time of her life, when she actually DOES need somebody. All this will end up being is a pain in the ass & more stress for Edward because she will still expect him to cater to her no matter what. Hopefully she won't be her typical selfish self, & will at least get the condo in Edward's building to make things easier for him when she calls him crying like I KNOW she will.
If she decides to move further away, Edward should tell her not to even bother calling him with her sob stories or cries for help. She wanted her independence, & that's exactly what she'd get! He doesn't need to be her little lap dog, be at her beck & call - coming around only when it's convenient for her, or only when she wants/needs him, or wants something.
If he let's her do this truly on her OWN, maybe it'll help her to grow the hell up finally, & learn that there's more to life than shopping, spa treatments, & sex...then again, she'll still have her daddy's money. I doubt she'll learn shit. :(
It all boils down to her immaturity & stubborness once again...her wanting to move for very vain & shallow reasons - because she has "scars" now...boo hoo. She doesn't even know if she wants to continue her relationship with him because of that - how stupid!
Her dad is going away, & she can't stand help from Emmett, Angie, or anyone else...so what does she think she's gonna do? I say call her bluff...if she truly doesn't want to use Edward for a crutch as she claims, then she'll quit her whining, move far away, & hire a nurse to help care for her & listen to her.
Miss "Principessa" is very spoiled, entitled, and still pretty ungrateful most of the time - even bitches about petty things such as Edward's cooking...at least he's TRYING, which is more than most men would do, especially since there is absolutely NOTHING in it for him. Why couldn't Charlie cook, or hire someone to, or order take out? So if I were Edward, I'd say, "good riddance" - it's bad enough that her & her annoying family has rudely taken over his condo as it is!
I just feel like Bella didn't learn a damn thing from her mistakes or her kidnapping. She still loses her temper easily, is irrational, foolish, & is quick to accuse or blame. :(

Bella is so ridiculous, saying that Edward lives "frugally". From the pics on your blog, one can see that he has a very nice condo, nice car, & a good education - what more could a single man ever need or want?!
What she fails to realize is that he's not frugal - he's smart - not wasteful like her stupid ass. She's the kind of idiot that will blow all of her money, if given the chance. People like her disgust me! She's had it easy all of her life, never having to work for, or earn a thing - having everything handed to her...and she doesn't truly appreciate it, or realize how lucky she truly is! She thinks the world owes her something, & easily passes judgement on others. She looks down her nose at everyone, including Edward, like the spoiled little princess that she is!
I wish Edward would've listened to Esme's advice to leave Bella alone, cut his losses, & play the field, instead of listening to his heart that's sadly blinded by one-sided love right now. :(
I hope she blows it again, & he keeps his word that he will walk away, so that he can have a chance at finding true love & happiness with someone who deserves him - not Bella!
If they ever get married, which I hope not, he better get her to sign a prenup! She'll bleed him dry & then dump him when/if he can't spoil or cater to her.

I'm curious as to WHY Edward says that Charlie has forgiven him, when it was Charlie who wanted him there in the first place?!? What's there to forgive?!? That's like being mad at someone for coming over when you invited them. Makes no sense to me!
And Emmett...he doesn't need to forgive Edward for shit, IMHO. He already beat the shit out of Edward like the cowardly pussy that he is, waiting until Edward was asleep in bed, & already injured to make his move. Even after all of that, Edward still saved his idiotic ass from being arrested, which he SHOULD'VE been!
If anyone needs to be forgiven, it's Emmett & Bella! She wrongfully put her hands on Edward, just like Emmett did, severely injuring him when he wasn't even fully healed from saving her ass, & then she went off & got herself in major trouble...crying for Edward the whole time. As cruel as it may sound...it kind of serves her right...although I wouldn't wish on anyone what happened to her.
Bella & Emmett's anger & blaming Edward was so very misplaced & WRONG!!! He was doing his job...a job that he done VERY well, seeing as how he saved & protected Bella numerous times - I think he went above & beyond the call of duty, and STILL is! Hell, he saved her when neither Charlie or Emmett did, on more than one occasion. And it's not like he purposefully lied about anything...he was undercover! What choice did he have?! Even still, he told her the truth about things as much as he could, more than anyone else would have in his position.
I think the person that Bella really NEEDS to be angry with Charlie! It's his lifestyle that put her in this danger, & ultimately got her hurt. It is even him who brought Edward into her life, though without Edward around, I'm sure it would've been so much worse - she would've died in that car bombing early in the story, & I honestly doubt Bella would've been found or survived without Edward's help this time. Plus, I wonder if he's known all along that Bella wasn't his daughter?
Bella also NEEDS to take some of the blame & responsibility on herself, too! She is a big girl, & made her own often foolish choices. No matter who Edward really was, she didn't have to get involved with him, or be so eager to push herself on him like she always was. She also never seemed to listen, or truly take into consideration the danger she was really in, even after Edward was recently beaten & stabbed defending her from the Volturi's, yet again.
She needs to quit mistreating Edward. He's NOT her punching bag! He's been there for her more than anyone. He's still doing all he can to try to help her, & to make her happy, like getting Charlie an extra month with her, yet she doesn't seem to really appreciate it. All she does is fly off the handle & get angry without even thinking logically, which is what got her in so much trouble...which is WHY she's sitting in a hospital right now! Doesn't sound like she's learned her lesson.
If anything, I feel like Edward is more of a victim in all of this, & I'm glad he stood up to Bella by telling her that he's NOT a piece of shit, & threatening to leave. He needs to do that more - with Charlie & Emmett, too, although I have to admit, Charlie's been pretty decent about everything...then again, he should be, like I said above.

As for Bella...I'm still aggravated with her! I know she's been through a lot, but she still don't look at things the right way. She still isn't treating Edward right, & I feel that she doesn't deserve him. She seems so ungrateful most of the time. Edward has the patience of a saint, that's for sure!

Good riddance! Bella is being a ridiculous dumb twat, & I agree with Esme - I DON'T understand her!
I find it odd that Bella is supposedly missing her dad so much when they were never really that close before, & it has always been Edward that has helped her through everything - NOT her dad. Edward has even helped her idiot father & brother numerous times, even though NONE of them deserved it! Not to mention the fact that it was her father's "occupation" that put her in danger in the first place, & then subsequently got her kidnapped & tortured. Her logic makes absolutely NO sense!
Edward needs to move on with his life, & not be caught up in Bella's limbo, or allow her to drag him down. I'm glad he's distancing himself from her - she's pretty much a lost cause because she chooses to be! He's already had enough trauma & bad times in his own life - he doesn't need her stupid, pity-party ass to bring him down any more! He deserves to be happy, & I believe that he can be happy & find happiness without her.
I'd love for Edward to find someone wonderful, & for Bella to see/know it! I bet she'd wanna be around him then! Too bad!
I HOPE that Edward doesn't run right over to Bella's when & if she calls. She wanted time & space, & that's EXACTLY what she should get! In fact, I wouldn't even bother answering her calls, if I were Edward.

I agree 100% with what Esme said, except she shouldn't have taken Edward to Bella's! Not only is he just recovering from surgery, but she should've stuck by what she said, & let Edward realize that he can't always go running to Bella...but, since she's going with him, she should at least, as Edward's mother, give them a piece of her mind - but since Bella's out of it, she could give it to Emmett, & let him relay the message later! However, Esme shouldn't do it in front of Edward & upset him, or make him think she is overstepping her bounds, because she wouldn't be - she's just being a concerned, caring parent who isn't going to stand idly by & watch people take advantage of her kind-hearted son.
Again...Edward SHOULD NOT run to Bella when she needs him. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of her wanting her "independence" & space?
Anyway, it's Bella's fault once again that she's even in the position that she's in - both before & after! So why have sympathy for someone who keeps bringing on their own misery & destruction? Being kidnapped didn't teach her a damn thing! She's still hard headed, stubborn, immature, spoiled, ungrateful, & selfish! NOT a winning combination! Edward SHOULD steer clear of her!

This story is just going downhill with all of this because the ONLY one who ever seems to suffer or pay for anything is Edward! And keep in mind that everything that is/was done to him has been unjustified!!! Bella & Emmett deserve their comeuppance SO MUCH!!! Two spoiled, stupid pricks. You, the author, need to give it to them!

I do not condone Bella's behavior. She is acting like a spoiled rich brat. However, everything she's ever known has been thrown into upheaval. Some of it is due to her behavior and some of it is due to her kidnapping. To put it lightly, she's screwed up in the noggin. Edward is a bit of a pansy, running to her aide each time, but he loves her. If there was a way to make her apology more heartfelt, I would do it, but she's battling demons...as is he. However, they will ultimately help each other heal. Edward knows what she's dealing with and how to handle it. Bella needs his strength, but also to grow herself. She's still a child, in many aspects. Spoiled to a fault and had every whim catered to her.
It'll be a long process...no doubt. Have faith.

Please do something with Emmett, though! I'm sick of him treating Edward the way he does, & always getting away with it! He definitely needs to be taught a lesson or two, too! Not only does Emmett get away with everything, but he also seems to get "rewarded" too - like getting his daddy's house/businesses/money, staying out of jail/trouble, a relationship with Rose, etc. - NONE of which he deserves! He never has anything bad happen to him...but I think it's time he was knocked down several notches - he deserves it! He's worse than Bella in some ways. :(
If Edward can't get the proper respect/treatment he deserves from Bella, then he damn well should get it from Emmett at least! LOL ;)

I HOPE that Jacob is dead, but something is telling me that he isn't. He's like a cockroach, so I'm assuming that he wouldn't die so quickly or easily. I don't think they'd be acting like that if they knew or even thought that Jacob was dead. :(

He pretty much does whatever he wants any other time, plus he & Bella will be living together soon, so this makes no sense to me. And why would Esme & Carlisle want to keep him from going? It's not like they would have to pay his way, or anything.
