This storyline had been in my mind for a long time now, and I just had to write it. Whether any one would like it, I wasn't sure at first. And to put it all down on paper can be quite a challenge sometimes. So it means a lot when I recieve a review such as yours.

Ch 16 snippet (sorry for any mistakes, the chapter is still with my beta)

Bella's POV

OoOo

“Hunt,” I squeaked. “Hunt what?” I came to a stop in front of four massive vampires whose dark crimson eyes locked onto me, gauging my reaction carefully.

Edward sighed, walking up to me. I immediately noticed that his gait was no longer wobbly. His steps were calculated, stealthy. Predatory. He was much more in control of his new body just like Carlisle said that he'd be. I gawked at my vampire, taking in his powerful muscles as they shifted and rippled fiercely underneath his pale skin. He was astounishing. He was emitting sheer power as he moved towards me. If I hadn’t been his mate, I would have shrunken back from intimidation of his immensity and the power that was rolling off of his body.

“Kitten…” Edward purred, gently brushing his knuckles against my cheek. “Go back to sleep. I’m sorry that I’ve awakened you.” He leaned down and brushed his cool lips against my forehead.

I caught Edward’s large hand in both of mine. I tried to pull him down to my eye level to grab his attention, but it was to no avail. He quickly averted his eyes. “Edward, please…please look at me…tell me what’s wrong. Why did Emmett say to go hunt?” The word “hunt” made my blood run cold and twisted my stomach into a big knot. My immediately bombarded itself with images of my parents being hunted down by that vampire the night they were attacked and killed.

My head began to spin as the blood drained from my face...

“Bella.” Edward caught me in his arms as my knees buckled and lifted me up, clutching me to his chest protectively. “Please, don’t worry. It’s nothing. Just go back to sleep, love.” He walked over to the couch and set me down gently, before he stepped away and began to pace in the living room like a wild caged animal.

“Dude, bro…just tell her. She can handle it. She’s a tough little human,” Emmett argued, crossing his arms over his chest as his crimson eyes followed Edward’s every move. “Tell her!”

Edward whipped his head back as his fangs punched from his gums and roared deafeningly at the ceiling, silencing his brother. I saw Carlisle and Jasper move closer to Edward out of the corner of my eye. “I DON’T WANT TO FUCKING SCARE HER!” Edward bellowed, snapping his dark gaze onto Emmett.
