TEASER:
I put on my tuxedo trying hard not to turn and watch Bella get dressed or look in the mirror.

“Edward ...” comes Bella’s voice as I tie my laces and answer her.

“Yes, Beautiful?”

“Two things, is it wrong to go to these balls ... things without under garments on, and could you zip me up, please?” I run through what Bella has said again and turn to her.

“Wh ...” I try to talk, but I’m unable to complete what I’m saying as I look at Bella, whose sheer beauty takes my breath away. The dress only adds to her natural beauty and I feel stupefied as I stare at my beautiful girl.

I look Bella up and down, taking in every part of her body. I slowly look her up, starting at her feet. My eyes trail up how the dress sits on her body like a second skin. I look at how it makes her already large breasts look fuller. I look at her neck that still displays my mark. My eyes go to her lips and I see that they are moving.

I close my eyes and shake my head. “Sorry, I spaced out there, can you say that again, Beautiful?”

Bella chuckles shaking her head at me. “You look really hot, like my own secret agent man. I was asking, because this dress shows every line, so I should I take off my panties, right? I couldn’t squeeze my bra into the bust area; the girls can hardly breathe as it is.”

I look back down her body and see that she's right, she has a panty line. “Remove your panties, Beautiful, no one will know,” I say. I watch intently as Bella wiggles out of her panties and comes over to me and turns around. My eyes trail down her body again and I start to kiss her back. I feel Bella shake and laugh and I look to her.

“I need you to zip me up. I mean, you can carry on doing that, but I think we’ll be late if you do.” I smile giving her one last kiss, open mouthed, at the base of her lovely neck, before pulling the zipper up. With the zipper up it makes the tight dress even more molded to her curves. It fits her like a glove, and I make a mental note to thank my mom.

“Come on, Beautiful, let’s get this over and done with so I can bring you back here and kiss you some more,” I say holding my arm out for her to take.

Wow, I dropped the ball, normally I have the review reply all written out before now.  So all Nikky has to do is send it to all the reviewers at FFN, and I do TWCS and I post one in the comments FicPad.  I dropped the ball this week.  Between personal stuff and the holidays and other drama things, I just flat out missed the bus.  I am so sorry for the delay in you getting this from us.  There were not a lot of questions at all, but you all seem to LOVE Esme, and how could we blame you.  I FLOVE her myself.  This is short but sweet, but hey you’re going to get an extra long teaser …   Thanks everyone for reading and reviewing.  Nikky and Kasi~

TEASER:  As Bella’s face pales, I look to see who she’s looking at.  I see Sue walking in with a crying Leah clutching her arm.  When I turn my head I catch James rolling his eyes at the display that Leah is putting on.

“I will go back and take my seat, I hope you like my last surprise,” James says getting up and walking away.  I watch him trying to work out what he’s talking about, but chatting brings my eyes to the dock. I watch as two officers bring in Paul and Jacob.  I frown at them seeing that their heads seem to have been shaved and they both have those scalp molding scarfs on their heads.

“Please rise for the Honorable Judge Varner,” the court bailiff speaks out loud before anyone can say anything. 

The judge enters the room and sits in his chair, and tells us to be seated as he calls the court to order.  The judge reads over some paperwork and looks up at the defendant's table. 

“This is a court room, remove those head scarves,” the judge says bluntly.

I kiss Bella’s head, but the loud gasps make me turn my head.  I look around the room seeing everyone’s looking at Paul and Jacob.  As they move around at the reactions, I can see they have ‘rapist’ tattooed across their foreheads.

I turn to look at James who is smirking away.

“What did you do to him?” Leah screams as she stands up making her way toward Bella and I.

“Young woman, sit down!  No, in fact get out of my court room and don’t come back until you put some clothing on.  Bailiff remove this person, and do not let her back in here unless she’s dressed more appropriately.”

Leah’s mouth drops open as she looks at the judge with rage in her eyes. Two of the eight bailiffs in the room escort her out of the room with Sue running out of the room behind them.

I smile a little and turn back to pay attention to the judge.

“Are the defendants, still pleading not guilty?” the judge asks.

“Ernest Berty, for the defense, your honor,” the defense attorney stands and says.  “I’m representing both Mr. Lahote and Mr. Black and they both plead not guilty.  At this time, your honor, we are petitioning the court to have the trial moved due to bias and news coverage in this matter.”

“Well Mr. Berty, since both your clients are facing charges in four states including the great state of Washington, I doubt you’ll find anyone who hasn’t currently heard something of the case.  You have had your chance to question and discredit members of the jury, so therefore your request is not applicable.  Your request to move the hearing is denied, and further more future stalling tactics such as this will not happen in this court.”

I chuckle silently as the defense attorney tucks his tail and sits down.  The judge has the bailiff bring in the jury and they are seated.  We listen as both sides give their opening arguments.  I’m glad that as soon as the opening arguments are done, the judge breaks for lunch.

“How are you feeling, Love?” I ask Bella, as I lean close to her ear so our conversation is private.

“I’m all right, but I think I may head home soon, if that’s okay?”

I kiss her head.  “Of course it is, my love.”

Well so far everyone is pretty much at the same conclusion, that Renee is a POS when it comes to being a mother.  With the way Bella has been raised and the way that she acts, this is not a big surprise.  Some of you have asked why Edward has not yet stepped in to protect her and that as her Dom he should.  Edward has been very clear all along that he wants her to grow and be confident on her own as well.  Now you will see that he is giving her the power to stand up for herself, and as her Dom he is telling her that he expects her to stand up for herself.  Bella is much stronger than most think, including Edward, but have no fear he will see her strengths.  I think that you all will be shocked to see how far Renee will go to maintain her own importance. 

A lot of you mention or talk about earlier authors notes and review replies where I have spoken candidly about my own upbringing.  Not every bad thing that happened or happens to Bella in this story happened to me growing up, but the neglect and the being pushing away and having parents who think only of them was a very prominent part of my childhood.  Both my parents are now gone, and I miss them.  I know that is not easy to understand for some, but even though they treated me like a second class citizen most of the time, they still were my parents.  This is why I maintain that you never know how you’d react in this situation, because unless you’re raised in it, you don’t know.

I smile and look to Renee who looks angry and pissed off, but thankfully, she has finally shut up.

“Edward, can I talk to you?” I turn and look at Phil, and I nod. I take one last look at my girl, before following him away from the kitchen area.

“What can I help you with, Phil?” I ask directing him into my office.

Phil sighs and looks at me. “I love Renee very much, and she’s not always like this.  Normally, at home she’s sweet, loving, and kind. I have only seen her this way a few times, but not too often. I think being here in Washington is bringing this more to the front. I think Charlie did a number on Bella, but he also hurt Renee, too. She has low self-esteem, and some issue with being around younger girls. The whole forgetful memory thing, I think it’s a medical problem.”

I chuckle shaking my head at him. “I’m not really sure I believe that, unless only forgetting a thing concerning your only child is a medical condition.”

“No, she forgets more than things about Bella. I swear it’s gotten to be a medical thing, she really just forgets things,” Phil says.

“He’s right, Edward,” I frown and look at my open office door and see my father standing there.

“What’s that then?” I ask harshly.

“Selfish bitch syndrome,” my father says with a straight face. I look to Phil who just frowns.

Teaser:  “I–I need ... I can’t sit here. I just need time ...” Bella gets up quickly and almost runs out of the room. 

I sigh looking at Phil. “She’ll be fine—she has to be—we just need to be there for her when she needs us.”

I nod and get up to start looking around for her. I looked throughout the house first, which takes me almost a half hour to do. I was starting to panic that she actually left our home. I open the back patio door and I see her, and instantly I feel myself calm.

“Beautiful,” I say when I approach her, as she works in the dirt of the flower bed she started with my mother. She stops and turns to me and I give her time, knowing she is going to talk to me now.

“Dr. Banner thinks I have been suppressing and curtailing my anger. I’m starting to think that he’s right. I’m just so angry right now, but mainly I’m mad at myself.”

I frown and tilt my head in question at her.

“Edward, I let them—I let them treat me that way. I was always trying to please them. I never asked for anything other than their time. I would always say it was fine, when they forgot my birthday, or anything that was connected to me. I let Charlie push me out of his life. I would always sit back and pretend that didn’t kill me to see him call Leah his princess, or listen to him tell her he was proud of her and loved her. I would say it was me that was to blame for that. I was the broken one. That there must be something wrong with me, and I wasn’t worthy of their love. It’s kind of pathetic when you think about it, huh?”

I shake my head and move to her. “It’s not pathetic to want and desire to be loved.”

Wow, you all just blow us away with the response for each and every chapter, so on behalf of Nikky and I, THANK YOU ALL so very much.  There are a lot of questions about what all happened to the evil witches at the college, well that is coming to you soon.  There really weren’t any questions asked that we could answer without giving away the ending of what they all have coming.  We are currently working on chapter 22, but it’s going well and there should be no waiting for it to post, it should post on time.  Most of the story wraps up in 21 and 22, but there will still be chapter 23 and for sure chapter 24 and maybe a chapter 25.  The ending is almost writing its self and it all is going really smoothly.  We hope you enjoy the way this wraps up.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.  Hope you all like this teaser ... TEASER: 

I get out of my car and walk toward the club. I can’t help but walk with a skip in my step, knowing very soon my girl will be meeting me here.

“Edward,” someone calls from behind me. I turn around and my mouth drops open.  Standing there is a much disheveled-looking Tanya. I look down at her as she rambles on, but I don’t listen. She’s wearing dingy, yellow slacks that are at least two sizes too big. The gray t-shirt she is wearing has what looks like coffee stains all over it. Partially covering her crusty, dirty looking shirt is a rather ugly purple, ripped-up, fake leather jacket. Her hair is very frizzy and looks like a huge afro on top of her head. To top it all off, she has no makeup on and looks ghastly pale. I hold back my laugh and just look at her.

“Are you listening to me? I said, ‘Do you see this?’ Look at me, please, you need to let me have my life back,” she whines out at me. “I need proper clothes, and a salon.  Alistair would freak if he saw how horrid this is. Please help before I have to have it all cut off,” Tanya says as she pulls at her hair.

We are so sorry for the lateness of this review reply.  I (Kasi) meant to do it the other day and honestly between the flu that has ravaged my home several times over the last month making another round, and trying to get ready for Christmas I forgot to do it.  Chapter 24 is almost ready to go to the beta.  Chapter 25 is not yet started, but we will do our very very best to make sure it is posted on time.  Most of the questions are answered in this chapter posting in less mere hours.  Sorry again for the delay in the review reply and teaser being sent out.  Nikky and I both wish you all the Happiest of Holiday Seasons for what or whom you celebrate.  There are only 2 chapters left to post and this story will be complete.  Kasi~

TEASER:  Seth has been in shock from finding all this out, but thankfully, Dr. Banner has been working with him through it all. The school has also been doing well at keeping the kids focused on what they are learning and not what’s going on in the news. Seth’s school life has really not had many distractions—regarding his personal life. Sue has been seeing him a lot more, but the relationship still seems to be strained for Seth.  Sue had gone along with Seth to one of his appointments with Dr. Banner. After talking briefly with Dr. Banner, he thought that Sue would benefit from seeing someone, too. Dr. Banner did say that he felt she should see another doctor so she had an unbiased person to speak with.

Seth has become very important to our whole family, so I set this up in order to help him. I know that he loves his mother, and so that he and his mom have a chance of building a healthy relationship, I wanted to do this for them both. He is still with us and Sue is living in an apartment close to where she now works here in Seattle.

Bella has finished college and is taking two years off before finishing the rest of her teaching degree. She will only have to do the required hands-on training as a teaching assistant. I’ve already looked into that, and she can easily fulfill her needed requirements at one of the local private schools.
