This story is wonderful!! I'm a huge Craig Ferguson fan as well, so I love that you combined two of my favorite things. I love how their thing is the whispering to each other the important things. Besides the ones already done, I'm kinda hoping one of the outtakes is her telling him she's pregnant in the same manner! They're so freaking adorable! I'm a little sad that it's over, but am looking forward to the epi and outtakes. Thank you for sharing this story! I'm going to head over to your FF profile to see what else I can read now. :)

The blog currently has pictures of the crew and the boat Galeos on the tab marked MMR Staff & Galeos Crew Information. We will add more pictures as the story goes on, complimenting certain chapters and events. You are correct that the individual blog tabs are going to fill as the summer progresses. Masen will have the first blog entry and it will post with Chapter 7. Yes, the fish thing is highly addictive and totally EA's fault! LOL

Great chapter! I love it all, but the thing I noticed the most in this chapter was the writing itself. I could feel the tension in my own body as Bella gripped that door frame, and the relaxation start has Mase talked her down from it. I even felt the excitement as they talked about the day at dinner. This is one of my favorite stories that I drop everything for to read, and I'm looking forward to where it goes. Thank you for sharing it!

Ahhh - my heart is actually hurting for these two! I wish Mase would just tell her how he feels, admitting it to himself first. Now, he's going to do something stupid but hopefully Whit will realize and pull Mase's head out of his ass for him. Then to top it off, everything Bella is going through with her fear as well!
I've always loved this story, but about halfway through today's I realized just how much. It is so well-written, with the descriptions but especially the emotions. It's amazing just how much I feel every time I read another chapter. I also came to realize that it's going to be slow burn!
I truly hope that real life doesn't keep you away too long and that whatever it is, is better soon. I will definitely miss you & the story, and look forward to when you are able to come back. Thank you for sharing this amazing story!!

I love it...as always! This really is one of my favorite stories, and I always have the biggest smiles when I see the updates in my in-box. Every chapter is amazing. While it sucks that Bella got stung, it's actually a really good thing - it's made Masen aware of his feelings (yay!) and it means that Carlisle & Alice are coming out (double yay!) I can't wait to see those introductions & reactions!
I also wanted to thank you for sharing this story. You have such a wonderful gift/talent with this story. I can picture every chapter in my head, and I feel the emotions along with them. I think that's one of the reasons it's a favorite...that and the characters, and the plot...so okay, fine, everything about it! ;)

Another wonderful chapter! I love this story! It's definitely one of my favorites, and I always have the biggest smile on my face when I see the updates! I love how all of the relationships are developing, and it's great to be vested in the other ones aside from E&B's...though theirs is still my favorite. They have such great interactions and it's a lot of fun to read. I'm glad the research is working out, but I'm definitely looking forward to when they return on Friday. Wow...a lot of stuff happened in this chapter! I'm glad to see that Bella is opening up to Edward and that she is letting her guard down a teeny bit with the Cullens. While a part of me understands what Jasper did, he was still an ass about the way he did it. I see so much potential for Bella and am really excited to watch this grow!
On a side note, I started reading this on FF first. Then I saw the update for here at TWCS and switched because I hoped there would be pics here. I love that you mix pictures in with your words...thank you!

I love the development of everyone, and how Bella is feeling a little more comfortable. I'm glad that Emmett learned more about her past. That way we learn more and the rest of the family can also, without Bella having to retell it. I liked seeing her interact with the kids, and helped talk to Bree. I love that she is talking to Edward every night. You know, I could go on and on about every little thing in here, but I'll stop now with this summary - I love it all and can't wait for more! I was excited to see this pop up earlier in the week, and am glad to hear the next one isn't too far behind! Thank you!! :)

I don't think Bella is weak at all! My heart goes out to her and everything she has endured. But I also feel that what she has endured is the proof of her strength. I think I am going to cry every time I read about her past, or when she opens up (like the hug with Esme), but that just proves to me how wonderful this story is written. I truly feel for her.
Now, on a happier note - that Brady is frickin' adorable!! "I's ‘resispa-til"...so cute! I really like the bond/relationship forming between Bella & Esme. I also like that B&E have started over on friendlier terms. I can't wait to watch this develop. Thank you for sharing this amazing story!

Wow - another fantastic chapter! I cried for Bella's grief over losing the baby, but I think it's going to be better for her in the long run. Now she doesn't have a secret that she's hiding from Edward. She can learn that people will love her, and she can have a family. I think I cried more though for all of the support & love that everyone showed her, especially Edward & Rose. So touching and moving! I can't wait to see Esme's reaction when she gets home!

Bacon & eggs - yum!! I was just talking to my husband last night about this story. He had to take a survival trek in Boyscouts when he was younger and was trying to remember if he would even be able to use a compass & map correctly anymore. With all of the advances in technology, you lose basic skills sometimes. Not only that, but he was also wondering if they even do survival courses with kids anymore because of liability. I don't know how I'd go using a compass either. I think I used to know how to use one from high school geography, but that was so long ago, it's just a vague memory now.
Even without a compass to guide us, as humans we would adapt and find other ways to identify our location in comparison to another - the stars, landmarks, marked trails. NOT getting lost is crucial to survival when you are alone or marooned.
Making your own map isn't difficult. It might not be particularly artistic or even drawn to scale, but if we can draw somebody a crude mud-map (that's Aussie slang for driving directions showing roads and landmarks) then I think we could map our location on an island, landmarks and our trails.

I love it! Even though there was no E&B or even any Cullens (except a little Edward), it was still a great chapter! I love seeing a little bit about what is going on off of the island, and it's nice to know that someone knows they are there in case the need arises to get them off. I also really like Felix...I would definitely read more about him. I'm a little torn, kinda wishing I could watch his storyline along with E&B's. Now I want to go read the last chapter and pay attention to Felix more. I'm also looking forward to seeing if Felix & Edward might be working together in the future to bring Aro down. That would be pretty frickin' good, I bet!

Thanks for your review to chapter 42 and please accept my apologies for being so tardy in responding. I'm glad you liked Double-cross. My holiday is about 5 weeks away, so I'm really looking forward to it - I'll be gone about 3 weeks. Unfortunately Hawaii is off the itinerary now because the friend I'm travelling with has been ill recently, but we're still visiting NYC and LA. Unfortunately RL has interfered with my writing for the past 6 or 7 weeks. My mum decided to move from Melbourne to Sydney and I've spent much of my free time either arranging her move, helping her move, painting her flat and having her as a guest for much of the past month, and then putting together endless packages of Ikea furniture, that I didn't have time for anything else, since I also had to work fulltime. My tiny flat was so crowded, I couldn't even reach my computer let alone see it due to all of the crap on top of it. Mum is now happily ensconced in her new flat and I am slowly putting my own home back to rights. I hope to have a new chapter posted over Easter, or perhaps earlier if all goes smoothly. I really like this story! I know I haven't reviewed yet, but I just found it today and I like to read everything I can first! I'm greedy like that. ;)
Swiss Family Robinson has always been one of my favorite movies growing up, so this is fabulous! I might not believe in an ostrich, tiger or zebra showing up, but I think you're doing a great job so far. Your research is great because it makes it believable, but there is still enough fiction to keep it enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes, not only with the characters but with their survival as well. Thank you for sharing this story! And good luck with the painting! :)

I'm glad you're enjoying Wrecked with Bella. I love the Swiss Family Robinson as well. I can remember watching the TV series every Sunday night as a kid. I tried to look for the US version that was made in the early/mid seventies, but it's not available on DVD - well Amazon doesn't have it!. I don't think there will be any African wild animals in my story but some other things might turn up.

Another great update! I'm glad that they are finally there to help E&B out of the cavern. It's good news that both E&B are able to help each other. I think their concern for each other is helping them deal with their own pain better...and a little kissing doesn't hurt either! I think we all know what Alice was thinking, but still not a smart move. I'm looking forward to the rest of the rescue. Thanks for this part of the chapter a little early!

Wow, again! Another intense one, but it was nice to see Jasper's POV. I hope once everyone is rescued and healed, they will get a chance to explore the fishing village that's abandoned. And I'm also intrigued by the other directions in the lava tube...the one to 'family' and the one that was unmarked. So much great stuff to look forward to reading. But first, the rescue. I have a feeling it will be another intense chapter as well! Thanks!

The lava tube should present them with some interesting adventures and drama in future chapters.

Wow! I think I'm even cowering a bit from Esme's speech! It's funny how this is a long chapter and it seems like so much happened, but at the same time not a lot did happen. Strange!
I like seeing Alice's & Esme's POV. I would have loved to learn why Alice keeps acting the way she does, so hopefully we'll get a hint of that in the future. I also think that Esme was right to lay down some ground rules as far as exploration goes.
I'm looking forward to some more E&B, and hopefully they will get a chance to explore that fishing village. After some well thought-out planning, of course! ;)

Esme certainly rules the roost, doesn't she? We will hear more from Esme in the future - I love her! There is an explanation for Alice's behavior, so stay tuned in later chapters. E&B are up next and they will explore the fishing village ... at some point.

This was another great chapter. I didn't think Edward's problems went as deep as they did, so I'm glad that Jasper pulled his head out of his ass! Looks like good times are ahead in the lab, and I'm intrigued to learn what Alice's problem is...I have a couple of thoughts, but am not sure.
BTW - I checked out the blog last week when I was thinking about this story, and I like the newer pictures. I missed them after the last chapter somehow. Thanks for sharing!

I love it! I especially liked the birth control talk that they had to endure! Too damn funny! It's amazing what they've been able to accomplish with the house. I'm looking forward to the fishing village, although I'm a little nervous about the 'unwelcome discovery'. I'm guessing it will be found in the fishing village? Hmmm... guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for your review. Sex Ed, birth control lecture from your 58 year old Dad - how simply mortifying! :)) The house building is made easier by the skills they all bring, but you know what, I'd give it a damn good go myself. It probably wouldn't be on the same level as the Cullen house, but I'd want to be as comfortable and protected as possible if I were in their situation.
No more clues on number 21! You'll just have to wait and read. Check back on the weekend; it should be posted by then.

Ah ha - so we've reached the discovery that has kept me on edge for the last few chapters. I definitely don't trust whatever those pirates are up to! I thought you did a great job - it was quite intense with the guys watching them for 2 days. I also loved the early parts of the chapter when things were more relaxed and they were all having fun.
Wow - I just had a flash of the pirates being led into the lava tubes, and then after getting covered in bat guano they fall through the floor where E&B were injured. That would be a good way to get rid of them!
Anyhoo - off to look at the pics on the blog, including the new ones from last week...I haven't had a chance yet. And yes - it is salami in the US. My youngest two can't get enough of it, and my husband loves to eat it wrapped around cream cheese. Thanks for the awesome update!

I enjoyed writing the whole 'we've spotted a boat, Oh no they're pirates and what's Alice doing' scene - it was exciting for me to write as well.
Thanks for clarifying the salami reference. I like to eat it in a white bread sandwich (the really fresh, soft, white slices) with tasty cheese - it's like a really strong and bitey cheddar, if that's a reference you understand better.
Funny anecdote for you: the first time I went to the US, which was about 25 years ago, I bought a hot dog from a street vendor, in NYC, I think it was. I asked for cheese and the vendor handed me a squeeze bottle of orange gooey paste. I nearly died. lol. I thought he was gonna put slices on it or at the very least, grated cheese - first and last time I've ever had cheese out of a squeeze bottle. Just in case you're wondering, cheese in a squeeze bottle doesn't exist in Australia. The closest we'd get is cream cheese from the cold dairy case or cream cheese in a jar from the grocery shelf of the supermarket.
Anyhoo (glad I'm not the only one who says that) thanks for reading and reviewing. Look out for chapter 23 earlier this week, perhaps Friday or Saturday because I'm off to Melbourne on Sunday. I'll be taking my laptop, but I'm visiting my mother so I don't know how much time I'll have to write.

I love it!! I was laughing quite a bit at Alice's curtsy & Emmett's bow to Bella, and the capture of the turkeys...mainly Emmett's disguise though! I'm a little curious if Jimmy saw the same report and might know more about everyone now. If his plans weren't evil enough before, will the fact that Bella's a princess make them worse? Will he take her for ransom?
So many things happened in this chapter, and I loved them all. I also think it's great how many things they were able to come up with to defend themselves and/or use as weapons. They each bring something different to the table, and it's amazing what they come up with when they work together. A true family!

Wow - another amazing chapter! Again, so much happened and I love it all! Thanksgiving was great...I loved the speeches & gifts. Esme's dibs on the shower was funny. They seemed to find quite a bit at the fishing village. I'm curious where Victoria is... if she grabbed those at the house or is plotting something more sinister. My other thought is that while Bella is on the 'treasure hunt', the others went to look for her, Em & Rose not knowing what is going on. Wow! Amazing chapter! I've only cringed one other time while reading FF, and it was in a mafia story. I've read countless others with torture and/or violence, but rarely are they so well-written that they make me cringe.
Thank goodness Jimmy is gone! I hope Larry is able to give them information, because the thought that Vivi is still out there makes me nervous. I'm also curious if Bella saw what Edward did, and what her reaction will be. Good things are that they now have a boat and Edward got his gun back! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Thanks for sticking with me. Readership and reviews has dropped off on TWCS the past few chapters, so I'm glad I haven't disappointed you. On the good side, readership and reviews on Fanfic are zooming.
I hadn't thought of the kava affecting Alice's fertility; only that kava is probably not good for a developing embryo or fetus. For that reason, I'm probably not going to include a pregnancy for Alice at the moment. Jasper is worried about his mother because of her age and he blames his father for her condition. He's being irrational; and not thinking clearly. And yeah, Rose is carrying a big baby.

Yay - you're back!!! It sounds like you had a great trip to the US. I'm in Northern California, so I've been to LA a few times in life. Parts of it are great & fun, and other parts (especially the traffic) make me want to avoid it for life! I've never been to NY, but I think I'd rather visit Australia before I go to NY. Though I do want to see Washington DC, and some other East Coast sites. Anywho - I'm glad you're back and had a lot of fun! You definitely deserve it.
As for the story - yay...one baby is here!! I'm glad that Edward & Carlisle came clean with everyone. I can see why Bella & Esme are upset with them though. I'm also glad that now that it's in the open, they can all start to work together to come up with some plans. They truly do work better as a team. I'm looking forward to a couple more babies being born! Then hopefully they can get rid of Aro and get off the island. While I love the island, I think they deserve to return to civilization. I just realized while reading this chapter why I love it so much...aside from the E&B, falling in love, frickin' adorable together thing. They are both strong characters! I love when both are strong & supportive of each other. Neither one dominates or is constantly being saved, they just go well together. It makes it easy to read and picture, and just enjoy. Of course, it probably helps that you write them so well! So - thank you for creating them the way you did/do and sharing them with us. On a side note, I watched Breaking Dawn again last night. One of the extras on the DVD is B&E's wedding video, and Tanya actually says some very nice, heartfelt things. It's difficult to merge that character with what I think most of us have to come to expect in FF characters. It's a very cute wedding video though! :)

I did the same thing when my water broke, but the contractions hadn't started yet...check the cats, call the boss, grab the bag, then wake up the husband to drive us to the hospital. He reacted similar to Edward - not quite sure what to do or what was going on for a few minutes!
