Before you get the wrong idea from the following review, I want you to know that I am really loving this story. Especially this chapter because Edward's comments are priceless (especially the ones in his head). Here is just one point of criticism that you could take or leave. If you are going to write out full verses of the songs, at least write some actions to go with them (such as the Prince song). I know you through in some here and there, but I don't see it necessary to pretty much write the whole song into the chapter of songs we almost all know.
My second is more of a question than a criticism. It seems weird that Bella, Rose, and Alice would go out drinking the night before a photoshoot. Especially with how Rose is so "appearance conscious" and Alice would want them to look the best. I don't think they would have somehow went to bed early, not stay out singing.

the song verses...eh sometimes I just get carried away. I'm seeing Prince's video in my head during Kiss..lol. As for the drinking..i think I was channeling my 21 year old self ..those were the days when i could go out and drink and wake up looking like a million bucks ...not letting on to anyone how crappy i felt. lol. My hangovers were always worse on the second day for some reason. Now it only takes 2 drinks, or none at all, for me to embarrass the family! lol Thanks for reading and reviewing!

In this version of the story, Jason is being respectful of Bills wishes. Technically, now that she is no longer his student, he could have a relationship with her. She's only living a few hours away. However out of respect for her parents' wishes, he is waiting until she is 18 and graduated. It's not long to wait, and a small price to pay for familial harmony. (Also, when I originally wrote this it took place in a state thats consent age was 18 :) )

I think this is a more than fair reaction and solution to this issue. I had a simular situation when I was almost 17 except that he was 20, not my teacher, and he did know my age. When I did turn 18, he was one of the first to get in touch with me. He had school to keep him occupied and I was thinking more about homecoming and proms and at the time I knew that he would not fit into this. But it was soooo hard to find any boyfriends my own age that had the same amount of maturity. It is going to be interesting to see what happens!!

As a teen, I always had a thing for much older men. (Well, not MUCH older - usually they were within 10 years of my own age, but when you're 17, that's over a third of your lifetime!) I think it's sweet that he got in touch with you when you turned 18.

I was actually toying with writing my first fanfic after this, but I too am getting tired of those same names playing over and over... Maybe I'll just describe the 2 lead characters as looking like everyone's favorite couple. The story itself is nothing like Twilight. It's bittersweet and dark at times and features plenty of awkward family drama. I'm excited to start it! (But I have to finish Second Spins first before Julien and Lara jump off the pages and kill me!)
