It was about time Emmett tell the all story to his father.
Bella's genitors are really two fucked up people. They abandoned her one more time, but for good this time. I'm sure they have nothing prepared for her after the house is sold. She would have been thrown in the streets, pregnant and without any money.
I just hope Edward will take Bella home and help her getting through the pregnancy. Also, they could move out of this shitty hole of Forks and have a new beginning in a more friendly city where Bella could go to college. After all, Bella is more than 18 YO, she no longer "need" her parents to "take responsibilities" for her (not that they have before, as she was always alone taking care of herself).
