And not to be a smart ass here - I really hate that I can't tell you privately - there was a slip in this chapter... Edward starts his undressing completely after he showed the whole playroom to Bella - but around half of this chapter he's wearing his jeans again😦

I remember how much I felt for Anthony the first time reading this, but already then I knew to trust Bree to help him understand things he was so unaware about before...

Can you imagine what it must be like for him seeing Bella that way, believing her to be the poor "Damsel in distress" in the company of Edward and then seeing her like that?! Poor guy must be short of a coronary... 

I should really know better by now to a) not read your stories through daytime and b) not out of the tub... You and your boys always cause my hamper to explode with panties....

This talk went to much better than I hoped for, Michael Volturi as a very smartman .Acceptingnot only the choice Bella made for her life, but still offering the reign of the Volturi family only shows that he does love her, already too.

It might be a shock to some, that after this first kill Bella didn't really fell into one herself. But I think her  reaction to it was kind of a shock, just not the typical one.

Hey, sorry I only rushed through this whole story - but I was very curious to see what else youve had in mind for them; )

All in all you stayed very true to your intended genres, but I really missed the BDSM parts. Especially seeing how often you remark how important that aspect of life is to the Cullen family. It was even less here, than in part 1 which is the only real down part for me.

Maybe youll add some of this to part 3, after wwe'll find out Edward is still alive of course; )

Lol, I get that Little Swan would think Edward is like any ordinary man, but honestly, she should've known better by now ;)

Why am I not surprised that after this special moment Edward and Little Swan got to share, they could just bath in the aftermath without disturbance? 

The first phone calls were just enough of a sign, I guess. But I'm not sure who called, Esme or Carlisle. Maybe both?!

The only good thing I'm able to find in this situation is, that things will have to get sorted now... but I'm worried what will come to light. My guess would be either Carlisle did manage to get the office bankrupt and was trying his best to get it sorted out but got only in depth that much more, or - which would explain the mark Esme left on him by hitting his cheek (well done, btw) - because on top of everything bullshit Carlisle dished out since you started this story, he has an affair and Esme found out about his cheating. 

Because Carlisle behavior screams midlife crisis awfully lot....

I was in need of some new stories to read as I stumpled over your summary in the featured stories, and it screamed for me to read it - so I started it. 

What I didnt expect was, that it would be so fascinating I couldn't stop reading it, to leave a small amount of time to write a review. I apologize for that, because it was very sweet so far.

I'm curious what is making Carlisle like the asshole he is here, because all the clues are well hidden if there were ones;) Of course I have a few guesses what ciuld be the problem, but I think I'll have to wait and see if I'm right...

Why would you make Bella the shortest one in the group? I think its a nice turn to most canon plots, so thanks for that change.

I'm very surprised that Bella did tell him so much already, but more than happy she did! The part about Amelia was probably easier to talk about than her feelings though. Because that's nothing really concering her directly, but opening up like this, sure is.

And I'm pretty sure Edward does know how much more they can be if started the rght way, because in my book, hes ding perfectly fine. Even if he couldn't get over watchng her sleep unbeknownst to her at the beginning;)

Im very glad she didn't hold it against him, but saw it as the need to make sure she was alright! 

Somehow I missed this update on time, and I could bite my ass for it! 

I think it was kind of a natural reaction for Carlisle to put some of the blame Edward threw his way earlier that day over on Esme... He's been backed up in a corner pretty badly, and usually people in that position leash out at eac and anyone they deem responsible for it. Worse thing is, they do it even knowing its their own fault :(

And of course all she wants is her "normalcy" back, which at this point probably is impossible. I get why she wants Edward to aplogize, because it seems like the easiest way for things to get back to how they were... but that doesn't help either of them, im afraid. 

The late call Edward did to little Swan, damn that was a bad hour, but im overjoyed at her reaction! It's so obvious how muh cares for the other between themselves. I was a bit sad that he took her to her home instead of his, but rationally know it was the right thing to do;)

Meeting Renée was pure fun, though. Im sure she's dying to ask Bella quite a lot questions about him and the way he looked at her or behaved;) I know I would...

Movie night... I'm curious how long it will take for her to really cuddle into him, while being at the cinema and if he will receive his own late night call ;)

Well, it was quite obvious that Carlisle had a problem with Edward, I just couldn't have pictured it going so deep... To a certain degree I think I can get it, being always rejected by his own parents - the people ought to love you no matter what... But if he already felt a pull to medicine thatvearly in his life as he indicated to Edward earlier, wouldn't it have been a logical step to try counseling before getting in a serious relationship? He must have thought about that at some point in his life, right?

A part of me wishes Esme could've been privy to the things Edward heard from Carlisle first hand, because even if Edward is willing to share that, it might be difficult for her to believe it all... Both of them need some time to come to terms with everything that happened "today", but at one point she has to make a decision for her future....

How I wish it was only a midlife crisis and an affair - thst would be so much easier to get through than this :(

And poor Bella... Having so much on her own shoulders already but getting the heat from Carlisle as well. Can I say how impressed I was by her - taking the leadership as needed and caring for both Edward and his mother so lovingly! She might be not the tallest person, but damn length isnt needed to be a strong person ;)

It feels a bit like the cowards way out, how Edward told Bella about Stanford... don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge him that success or even applying to these awesome colleges, but in a good/strong relationship these things are talked about before:(

Though I know how difficult and unique their situation is, I'm still feeling a bit disappointed that he didn't talked to her about these choices first - he knew he had her back up. So why the secrecy?!

I'm glad Bella didn't back down to Alice with taken responsibility for the damage to the room. And getting Jasper his own room might be helping in more ways than just his night terrors, that way he has something that's "only his" and that could be good for his getting better, too.

I think him being so skittish is totally understandable, he's been through so much abuse and it would be more than wrong if he was over it magically now....

I'm just a bit worried if things with Elizabeth will go as smooth as they hope, because as far as u understood they were at her office with the FBI but without Esme herself there....

I hope that his worry is unnecessary but knowing you, its a big possibility with Esme on the run... And it would be the perfect opportunity for her to really hurt him once more:(

The good doctor seems to not believe in pussy footing around the issue but rather speaking her mind right away.... I was surprised that she began their relationship with her past already, as I'm not sure this approach might work with everyone. 

Another interesting thing she said, was her want to sieak to Edwards mom - should I hope Elizabeth was more mistreated than we already know?!

Carlisle really is heaven send in this fic ;)

I think it's good that Edward has at least one person he trusts fully, or with his health at least. Who knows how much further his trust in Carlisle goes at this moment in time...

As for Bella, she's a woman in love, deeply afraid of loosing said person due to his wounds, of course she'll have some weak moments in her head as well

Loosing Jared was a bit of a shock, I really hope it was a natural cause, because I doubt it will lead back to Esme otherwise :(

Damn the talk Edward gas had with Jasper really did impress me. I'm glad he could help his friend to start see reason about his own situation...

I get that Bella stills feels hurt, even if she now sees right through Esme's plans to put a ruft between her and Edward... 

And yes, all the information Carlisle gave her, there's a lot to think about. But that she even considers leaving Edward alone in this mess, that feels completely wrong :(

Of course I'm concerned about Edward's mother, too! But maybe getting her admitted info a real hospital will help Edward to buy some time finding a better nursing home -with a little help of his friends....?
