Hi,
My name is Jane and I'm a 44 year old single mum from Manchester in the UK. I'm a stay at home mum at the moment but I'm looking for a job, need to pay the bills. I discovered Twilight when the film came out and everyone was raving about the books. The books weren't well known in the UK at all, in fact, you may have found it difficult to find them at all, the film fuelled their popularity. Anyway, I bought the books for my daughter who wanted to know what all the fuss was about. That was 4 years ago and she's never read the books, not one word...I can hear you all gasping in disbelief...I however, devoured them. I couldn't get enough, completely absorbed was an understatement it was the best diet I've been on. I was so consumed by these characters the bare minimum of housework was done, my daughter reminded me every day that she was hungry and I needed to feed her, laundry was done at the last possible moment and the ironing got done on a need to wear basis...my obsession was born.
I'm Team Edward, always have been and always will be but Jasper owns a place in my heart too. After reading the books countless times I found both FanFiction and Twilighted through Twitter, some ladies on there were rec'ing some fics and my curiosity got the better of me. One of the first fics I read was Master of the Universe and I'm sure you've all read that one too, another one was Clipped Wings and Inked Armour, another amazing story and thus began my second obsession. I can't get enough, I'm on both sites every day unless the 'puter breaks then I go into withdrawal. Twilighted feeds my need for RP Fics mainly Rob and Jackson, some Kellan works it's way in there too but I read all types. I love slash and polyamorous stories and I've found that you find more of those on here. I've started to write a story myself, the characters popped into my head one day and now they won't leave me alone. I'm not sure that I'm a good enough writer that I'd ever put it out there for others to read, at the moment I'm just enjoying writing it for me.

Poor Jasper, I can't believe what's happened to him and that his band mates all but abandoned him, thank God he had Paul around to help him. This has really knocked his confidence out of him, I should imagine he's feeling a whole shed load of emotions right now, I think he's scared of leaving that hotel and going outside. It's been his sanctuary for a couple of weeks and now it's turning into his prison, Emmett really needs to work out a way of getting him outside.
After everything that's happened they still can't say that they want a relationship.

I'm so glad that Jasper's on the mend and that Emmett convinced him to go home to his family for some love, rest and recuperation.
Emmett's so confused with their 'relationship' he doesn't know what he is to Jasper or how Jasper feels about him. His family are under the impression that Emmett's his boyfriend. These two really need to talk and I hope they manage to do that before Emmett slips away back home.

Why would Edward regret getting to know Carlisle? What happened to Carlisle in college to make him this way? Why does he feel shame and why would he feel that he's going to disappoint Edward? God, it's like the ending of Soap, lol. You're probably too young to remember that.
The voice is a very powerful tool and both Edward and Carlisle are using theirs amazingly, I need to lie down, haha! I hope you update soon, I need my questions answered.

Thanks Jane! These two boys are a constant surprise to me and don't follow any plan I try and set down for them.
I know Carlisle's back story, but I have no idea how and when that will come out. They only talk to me in the dead of night so, when they do decide to talk, I let them.
This story will be a slow update because it is so unlike anything else I write and requires a certain mindset that is impossible to force. I can tell you thought that this story is 100% guaranteed to continue. I adore them and I want to see where they take me. Hopefully my lovely readers will stick around for the ride :)

Poor Edward, with all Carlisle's insecurities coming to the surface I think he thought he may just walk away and not want a relationship with him. Carlisle's really going to need to talk to Edward and I'm glad he's made a start. I think he should just pick one insecurity at a time to address and let Edward in.

She's laid out her stall and Carlisle knows what to expect from her should he put a foot wrong but on the flip side he also has her support. I have to say I wouldn't mind being woken up the way Carlisle woke Edward, it really wouldn't matter what time was, lol.

Oh my God! Trust Lauren to turn up at her Dad's house. I was wondering at the end of the last chapter and the beginning of this how Carlisle would react to the fact that he's unwittingly fallen for his daughter's boyfriend. Whether he would be of the same mind as Edward and want to forget the whole thing or if he'd want see where this new relationship with Edward would lead and risk losing his daughter.
I think the only thing that Lauren can take from this to console herself is that Edward realised he's gay and did the right thing by breaking it off with her. It's going to take time for her to get her head around it all and get over it. I don't think I've said this but, poor Lauren I really do feel sorry for her.

Lauren surprised me with her maturity over this and how naive she is as well. Lol, I wonder if she'll be having sex when she's 36. I'm sure her Mum will also be glad to hear that she's over the hill and sex is disgusting at her age, hahaha!

Okay, I take back what I said about Lauren and maturity. Carlisle's right that Lauren's playing a dangerous game with Edward's memory. She's hurt and she's being very silly and she's only going to be more hurt by playing this game.
Thank God Edward's going to be alright, I don't think Carlisle would have been able to cope if he'd lost him even though it's only been a couple of days they have such a connection which Edward is aware of though he doesn't remember. I'm not sure how right Carlisle was to answer Edward's question but I'm glad he did.
Rose and Emmett have met, hehe, I get the feeling Emmett will be moving in to Edward's room for the foreseeable future.

How low is Lauren going to stoop? I know she's hurting but this is seriously going too far. It's a good job that Carlisle knows the truth but still this must really hurt hm that his own daughter would play games like this with someone's life. I loved Edward telling Emmett all about Carlisle and then Emmett confessing that he wanted what Carlisle and Edward have together. I think that we all want to be loved and feel love and Emmett is no different, he's been so lonely since his last relationship ended.

Oh my God! After such a perfect and relaxing time away they come home to a message like that. I suppose that was the ringing phone that was heard before they left. I suppose it's not going to be as simple as the fact that Edward wasn't Carlisle's patient and that Lauren is acting like a jealous, petty little girl who'll seem to stop at nothing to destroy her Dad's happiness and try to get Edward back. What part of 'it's over' does she not understand?

Lauren really needs to grow up. At 18 she would know what effect her words would have, she obviously realises that a doctor having a relationship with his patient is the biggest no, no ever, then to add to the mix that this is a gay relationship she would know how devastating this would be to her Dad. I believe she acted on impulse and truly didn't think through the full consequences of her actions, (I'm trying to find some redeeming features here) that it would go as far as smear campaign and that lawyers would be involved.
Lauren's done so much damage not only to the people she loves but to the wider community. She needs to be taught a lesson, maybe her own embarrassment at being outed as the person that fuelled all of this will be enough, who knows. What she needs to really think about is that if she'd just accepted things when Edward finished their relationship and after finding out he and her Dad were together, there might have been a little bit of gossip but the humiliation and embarrassment she feels wouldn't be a tenth of what it is now. Stupid, stupid girl.

Poor Esme, she's always the last person to know what's going on. I'm sure that she'll start to dread Carlisle's visits as he always seems to be bringing more bad news of what their daughter has been up to. What else could possibly be prompting Lauren to act this way? Is it some sort of personality disorder, or is she simply unable to live in the real world? I definitely think she could use some help especially after the way Esme said she'd been behaving.
I'm glad that Esme already accepts Edward and his relationship with Carlisle, I think it will put Edward more at ease knowing that she's not going to attack him on sight for everything thats happened. Lol.

What does Lauren mean, her life has already ended? Has she done something else stupid or is she just being overly dramatic? Poor Esme is at her wits end. It's the worst thing to have a child that won't talk to you, it breaks your heart and it makes you feel like a failure as a parent. You feel that you can't be what they need but they won't tell you what that is. It's like you failed a test that you didn't know you were taking and then not being told what you failed on. Like I said heartbreaking and frustrating beyond words. I hope she gets the support she needs for everyone's sake.
It sounds as though Emmett's heard something about what's been going on, I hope he won't be too pissed off that Edward's kept him out of the loop, he didn't do it intentionally.

Who said that? Was that Esme talking to Elizabeth? I know Elizabeth has a lot of revelations to get her head around, but I hope she comes round soon. She has to let Edward make his own mistakes, not that this is, but she has to learn to let go and trust that Edward's knows what he wants. He's a grown man now and he definitely knows what he wants. It almost seems like she's pushing Edward to the side and reinforcing with Emmett and Rosalie what a 'normal' relationship should be.
I wish that either Carlisle or Edward would say something about how lonely they are without the other. This is such a new relationship and in a strange way they should still be at the stage of 'should I keep calling him, should I text him, I want to be with him all the time, will he think I'm being pushy?' but because of all they've been through they are way beyond that and it seems right that they should be talking about moving in together even though they've only been together a few weeks. Does that make sense? I know what I mean, lol.
Oh, and that bar lemon........they well and truly squeezed the juice out of that one, phew!

So it was Esme speaking to Elizabeth but still, despite what she's seen and everything she's been told, she still doesn't be able to accept Edward's choice of relationship. Perhaps, over time, as she see's how much in love they are she'll come round. I hope so.
I loved the karaoke and Emmett's special present was just hilarious. Could this be the start of their own personal porn collection? Lol, I bet Emmett had to bleach his brain after that, bwahahahaha!!

Oh Lauren, you silly, silly girl (I'm starting another theme, lol). The mind can be a magical place but it can also be the cruelest place. How long has Lauren been bullied at school? That's all I can think that she meant when she said it didn't matter what the girls said about her and that Edward kept her safe. Now a baby or is her body playing tricks with her? It's possible that all the stress has caused all her symptoms unless, of course, she's done a test.
There are decisions to be made here but Lauren needs to understand that there's nothing that can't be put right and no situation that can't be made the best of. That last part sounds so crass, but if she really is pregnant, then she has to decide what she wants to do.

Thank God Carlisle got through to him. Edward can't be held responsible for someone who doesn't tell anyone she's being bullied, or for the way that person reacts to bad news. The stress of it all caused Lauren's grip on reality to slip and she made some very bad decisions but that's not Edward's fault and, of course, Carlisle recoginsed that. Now, in the same way, Carlisle and Esme can't think that this is all their fault either. I know they will because they're her Mum and Dad but if your child won't speak to you and nobody else is coming up with anything all you can do is be there when it all goes pear shaped. I'm so glad she's not pregnant, it was the last thing she needed.

I'm so glad that Carlisle and Edward talked got things back on track and also that Edward and Esme were able to clear the air. Esme was right a while back when she said that Edward was too old for Lauren, it's not in age but definitely in maturity and the way in general that Edward conducts himself. It's going to take time but I'm sure eventually Lauren will be able to accept Edward as Carlisle's partner.

Knowing what we know I think he would be underestimating her if he thought that she was more than just a little naive. I do think she's a little naive, he's already said he can't give her hearts and flowers, Bella's ignoring that side of herself in order to get what she wants but Dr C knows that there will come a point that she will begin to want that side too. She's already put her trust in Dr C and from his point of view he can completely mold her into what he wants her to be.

Jasper's surprise for Edward was lovely and very thoughtful of him. It is really sad that they can't show any affection in public especially when they love each other so much.

It seems that vampires creating armies are not hot on wanting to know the full names of the people they're chaning into newborns. Jasper had no way of knowing he was related to Peter, he can't blame himself for everything. I loved how Edward tried to help him by making a joke that it was Maria's fault that Peter was changed. I hope he finds him and doesn't have any trouble. Will he go to see Nicholas whilst he's there?
I think Michaela's taking all of this very well, but then she's always believed that Jasper would come home to her.

I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing for them to keep the house, if they lived in it they could start making new and happy memories. I like it that Edward gave the cross to Riley.
