Hi,
My name is Jane and I'm a 44 year old single mum from Manchester in the UK. I'm a stay at home mum at the moment but I'm looking for a job, need to pay the bills. I discovered Twilight when the film came out and everyone was raving about the books. The books weren't well known in the UK at all, in fact, you may have found it difficult to find them at all, the film fuelled their popularity. Anyway, I bought the books for my daughter who wanted to know what all the fuss was about. That was 4 years ago and she's never read the books, not one word...I can hear you all gasping in disbelief...I however, devoured them. I couldn't get enough, completely absorbed was an understatement it was the best diet I've been on. I was so consumed by these characters the bare minimum of housework was done, my daughter reminded me every day that she was hungry and I needed to feed her, laundry was done at the last possible moment and the ironing got done on a need to wear basis...my obsession was born.
I'm Team Edward, always have been and always will be but Jasper owns a place in my heart too. After reading the books countless times I found both FanFiction and Twilighted through Twitter, some ladies on there were rec'ing some fics and my curiosity got the better of me. One of the first fics I read was Master of the Universe and I'm sure you've all read that one too, another one was Clipped Wings and Inked Armour, another amazing story and thus began my second obsession. I can't get enough, I'm on both sites every day unless the 'puter breaks then I go into withdrawal. Twilighted feeds my need for RP Fics mainly Rob and Jackson, some Kellan works it's way in there too but I read all types. I love slash and polyamorous stories and I've found that you find more of those on here. I've started to write a story myself, the characters popped into my head one day and now they won't leave me alone. I'm not sure that I'm a good enough writer that I'd ever put it out there for others to read, at the moment I'm just enjoying writing it for me.

After Rosalie's little display I'm wondering how she'll react to finding out that Edward thinks Bella completes him and would love for her to join their family. I know Rose comes from a polygamous family but it doesn't automatically mean that you have complete control over what you become jealous of.
Bella raised some good points when she was thinking of all the things she wants to know about this type of relationship and marriage. Take Rose's punishment as an example, do all polygamous marriages have this sort of punishment when someone steps out of line? Is someone punished just for disrespecting the head of the house or are they punished for disrespecting another wife? I wonder how Bella's going to feel about this side of things.

It's so sad about Edward's Mum, he was so young when she died. Family get togethers must be interesting, especially when you get into extended family with siblings partners and children, my God you'd have to hire a town for a party, lol.
Edward must be rolling in money to fund this lifestyle, I know both Rosalie and Alice work, but still. What on earth has Alice been spending all that money on? Will Bella find out about the punishment? What will she say?

Wow, that was very brave of Alice to let Bella witness her punishment, I don't think that's something that I could do if I was in the same position, actually I don't think I could witness it either. I thought it was amazing that Bella understood what the punishment was about, that Edward wasn't trying to humiliate his wife, it was very perceptive of her whereas most people would just view this as being humiliating and degrading. Will she put this in the article?

Oh my God! Aro is a sick bastard. How can he do that to his wives and children and call himself a Christian? He should be jailed for the rest of his life and castrated which is way too lenient for someone like him. I'm amazed that anyone in that family survives. Rose is definitely a survivor, it's testament to her own strength and Edward's love that she able to lead a full life with him and Alice. It's also amazing that the cruel torture she endured hasn't put her off the lifestyle at all.
I meant to mention this in my last review but got sidetracked. As Alice mentioned she knew she'd get into trouble for breaking the rules and she still chose to do it. We know that Edward becomes aroused during punishment and Alice is extremely horny aftewards so with that in mind, does Alice break the rules on purpose, either consciously or subconsciously, for a deeper sexual gratification? Does she crave that dominant side of Edward which he mostly keeps in check?

I love the dynamics of all their relationships and how well they all really know each other. Some people spend a lifetime together, just one on one, and still don't fully know their other half.

They've all had such vastly different experiences growing up. Even Edward, though it seemed he had a good childhood despite his mothers death, the wealth his family has brought problems with making friends and his grandparents hatred of Carlisle formed a rift that a young Edward wouldn't understand. Poor Bella got shunted from one place to another never staying long enough to put down roots and make proper friends and of course, we know about Rose. What about Alice's childhood, was hers just completely happy and normal?
How did Aro move, undetected, with his thirteen wives was it and seventy six, well seventy five children after Rose left? I can't say I'm sad at Royce and his cronies being murdered but I wish someone had got to Aro too. I'm with Edward, Carlisle has more up his sleeve than he's saying.

Rose's story is very touching and I'm glad that she finally got to confront Aro, she should have kicked him in the balls whilst she was at it, lol. Her life after Aro with Edward has been one of discovery for her and now that she's completely unburdened herself and she realises that Bella truly thinks she is a strong woman and does not pity her, maybe she'll begin to believe it herself and she'll be ready for that baby.
That said, it doesn't seem that she's ready to accept another wife into their family. Could Edward's feelings for Bella cause too much pain and jealousy for Rose to bear?

I'm thinking that this might be the beginning of a very tough time for Rosalie. Whilst I sympathise with Rose's past and that it's contributed to making her a selfish person, I feel that she may be playing on it a little to get her own way. Edward knows she's selfish and has pandered to that side of her because of her past. She has to learn to stop using it and deal with it in a different way, the release she gets from her 'sessions' with Edward makes her feel better but causes both Edward and Alice emotional pain, just another example of her selfish behaviour.
Rosalie's problems could cause so much more tension for the whole family especially with Edward falling for Bella, who Rose clearly doesn't want to accept as another possible wife even though she convinced Edward that she wanted a polygamist marriage and encouraged him to find another wife. Surely even she should realise that with the many parts that make up a whole person, in this type of marriage, there are going to be many wives each bringing a unique part of themselves to make that person complete.
Don't get me wrong, I do have sympathy for Rose and I would in no way want to make it seem that what she went through was anything less than the pure torture it was. What I am saying is that she has to learn to take charge of her own emotions and deal with them in a different way, she has to take that power that was taken away from her back not give it to someone else.

Poor Alice, I thought she might have had a bit more or a normal childhood but no, she was used as a show pony and then when she grew too old to be cute she was left to fend for herself. Fair enough she wasn't abused physically but she was certainly mentally abused and neglected. Thank God she found her way with the guidance of the hospital staff and made something of herself, she has to be proud of that and for everything she has done through her store as well.
I'm glad that Rosalie seems to have reached a turning point in her life, let's hope that she finds the courage from somewhere to deal with her emotions and how she lets them go. I think Rose is thinking that if Bella was to join their family that she's going to be pushed more to the periphery and then out, especially with both Alice and Edward on Team Bella. Edward can say as often as he likes that he won't pursue Bella but sometimes things aren't that simple and easy.

Oh my God, poor Bella! It's hard enough to lose a parent in normal circumstances when they pass away from old age or a heart attack but to be killed right in front of you. I'm sure it's took a long time for Bella to reach the place, mentally, that she's in now. What happened explains why Renee felt that she had to leave and also why she kept moving around. I'm sure she felt insecure and that if she stayed in one place for too long that something bad would happen again. Will she tell her full story to all them?

Time for Rosalie to grow up and face the music. It's madness having a timescale for everything. How can you possibly agree to being married for a year and then say you'll start trying for a baby? The timing could be all wrong, as obviously it was for Alice. Rose isn't the only one that might have plans and because of one thing or another those plans have to change. It was hard for Rose to hear but she has been extremely self centered. Does she automatically get to be head wife because she was the first, is that how it works? I would still imagine that in a polygamous marriage that it's still a partnership, one made up of equals.
It saddens me that Rose's sisters are so ready to step in and cause problems for Bella so that Rose can keep her family just the way it is. It says so much about their upbringing and I am glad that Rose turned them down, I would have thought so much less of her if she'd agreed to their help.

I think Bella's reaction to taking over Carlisle's company was a natural one. It doesn't matter how many letters are in those files or how many files there are, it's an unfortunate fact of life that when a woman gets a high powered job there will always be those who say she's slept her way to the top. Like Alice said they know it's not true and that's all that matters but still it doesn't make it any easier to hear the whispers and know what some people are thinking.

I'm not sure how this confrontation is really going to work out but it looks as though Charlie's been suffering since everything went down. It serves him right though really because if he doesn't agree with Renee he should have spoke up and fought for Bella. Personally, if my parents had said all that to me, I wouldn't make any effort and I'd cut off all contact with them to the point of asking Rose not to talk about me to them, but then I'd cut my nose off to spite my face.
I'm so happy that both Carlisle and Esme consider all them their children.

I'm not sure that Bella really needed any more confirmation of what her mum thinks of her. I can understand why Rose put her on speakerphone, all of them now know the type of vitriol that their mother spews and Rose got to have more of her say and defend Bella, but was there any need for her to hear more of the same and worse? No, there wasn't and it just made her hurt and misery more acute. At least, out of all this, it's brought Rose and Emmett closer to them all and they're beginning to realise that love is the most important thing and it doesn't matter whether it's two girls, two boys, a girl and boy or all of the above.

How can you say things like that to your child? Well, they've paid the price now because Rose and Emmett have walked away from them too. I'm glad they've all apologised to each other and promised to start afresh.

The star of the show is obviously the blue eyed, blonde haired married Rose and if you don't fall into that category or play by the same rules then you're obviously stupid and idiotic. Religion gets in the way of so many things when it's really supposed to teach love, tolerance, acceptance and so many other valuable lessons, people use it the wrong way and turn it against family members, friends, Joe Bloggs down the road. Those people who believe in God should know that he loves everyone no matter what, sins may have to be atoned for but he still loves everyone. I don't necessarily believe in God but at the same time I don't believe that God would teach and agree with the judgement, bigotry and hate that people use on others in his name. There endeth the lesson, lol. Seriously, I'm not here to bible bash or force my views on anyone, I just find it really sad that a person can't be accepted for the way they are and who they are when they aren't causing harm to anyone else.

How old is everyone, because I'm thinking that it's rather childish of a married woman to be threatening her sister with their parents? She's working for God's sake, it's none of her parents or Rose's business what she does in her sex life. If she doesn't like it and it's her apartment then she should ask Bella to move out, if it's not her apartment then she should move out herself. I can see why Bella and Alice like making them squirm, lol.

Woohoo, Mike and Tyler made it and surprised them all, it's such a shame that Ben and Angela couldn't be there with them.
I think when they decide to have kids, if they're just going to leave it to chance, then when the baby's born they should have DNA tests to find out which one of the boys is the biological dad so that the child will always know even though they will all parent the kids together. They'll need to find out anyway because they'll have to arrange for the non biological parents to be able to consent for things like medical treatment, etc. Everything will work itself out.

I can't wait to find out what Esme did that caused the rift between her and Edward. I'm intrigued that Carlisle doesn't know the full story of what happened. Why doesn't he try to stop Esme from drinking and taking drugs? The first paragraph made me smile and I think you identify with that paragraph as well as I do. As a single parent of a daughter that once she learned to talk she never shut up, I revelled in her bedtime and the quiet it offered me, my brain needed the break. What makes me laugh is that she even talks in her sleep, lol. Needless to say I related to that paragraph even though I'm not an assassin, hahahaha!!

Oooo, things are gatting interesting. Bella's having quite a profound affect on everyone, well everyone apart from Carlisle that is, maybe he'll fall under her spell when he gets to see her properly. Will Bella be the person that helps Esme out of her spiralling demise and re-unite her and Edward? It's a lot to ask of one person, but who knows she's had a big affect on almost everyone else. Lol, I can't believe Bella and he insistance on her engagement ring. Edward's getting more than he bargained for but I think he's getting used to it now what with his laundry mishap and kitchen incident, hahahaha!! Will he buy Bella another ring and say it's for something else? He desperately wants to give Bella the best but she doesn't need that from him. She's not a material girl and he's going to have to find a different way to give her what she needs and show her that she has it.

Bella is definitely good for him, she's making him human again and that's what Carlisle can't stand because he beat it out of him. I'm glad Edward had his word vomit, he redeemed himself and his proposal, lol.

Oh my God! Poor Charlie, he's going to be wishing he died when Jacob attacked him. Demetri has completely lost the plot and Alec is more scared of him than ever, if he had any sense he'd either kill him now or run.
Edward proposed! I didn't expect him to do it so quickly, I thought they might be further into their holiday before he did. Will she say yes? I never think anything is really a given with Bella. If she does say yes, will they marry before they get home? Alice will kill them if they do but I think she'd understand.

I suppose this all goes back to whoever it is on the inside of The Clan. Will Edward and Bella keep the children now and bring them up? If they're place with other families there's nothing to say that Demetri and Felix won't find them again and kill them.

Edward has more humanity than he gives himself credit for. I'm glad they've talked and laid their cards on the table, so to speak. In Edward's line of work you really can't sugar coat things and Bella has to know what she's getting herself in to especially after what she's been through. I'm really glad as well that she was able to be honest with Edward and tell him that she wants him. She's a strong woman and she's going to need to be to be a part of Edward's life, I think as well that being direct with each other is going to be key for them instead of skirting around a subject or a problem.

So James and Esme did have an affair and Alice was the result. Oh my God! If Alice found out she would be devastated and it could destroy her relationship with her mum completely. I feel a little sorry for Carlisle being decieved and betrayed in that way by his wife and his brother. I still have to wonder about Carlisle's attitude towards his wife. Why does he stand by and watch her drink herself into oblivion every single day? Does he know? Did Esme cave in under the weight of her guilt and confess to Carlisle? There has to be something going on between them for this to be allowed to carry on. You try to help the ones you love, not turn a blind eye.

Bella's independence is going to get her into big trouble if she doesn't watch out. You'd think she'd know by now that if Edward or Jasper tell her to do something that she'd do it, that she'd realise it's to keep her safe but no, she has to stand there, question why and argue the toss, she's so infuriating. I'm on the demon's side with this she really needs to be shown what she's got herself into and then maybe she'll start doing as she's told without question. She also needs to be taught how to defend herself properly. I think Alice and Rose need to stop all the girly stuff for a while and make it clear to Bella in black and white what she needs to know, do and why.

He could become careless because he's distracted in some way by Bella but Carlisle has to ask himself how he managed to still do his job when he had Esme and two young children. People learn to compartmentalise.
