Hi to anyone who is actually reading this. I decided it was about time I wrote something here so here goes.
Well as you may have guessed from my real name slot and my oh so imaginative penname my name's Hels. I've just finished my first year at university and the plan is to make the most of having a nice long summer with no essay deadlines hanging over me by doing lots of fanfic and original fic writing. However I have come to notice that I'm good at making plans but not so good at seeing them through so we will see how it goes.
For now I figured I would post some of the one-shots I've written and which are also posted on my Fanfiction.net account under ArwenGranger.

I wondered if it was a good idea to be taking all those pictures of Bella just in case James managed to get a glimpse of them so I'm glad Carlisle thought to give them the memory card. I can't wait for the next chapter and their weekend away.

I really panicked when the guy started calling for Marie in the restaurant, I was sure it was James just like Bella. Carlisle and Esme's present for Bella was lovely and seeing everyone so excited about Christmas, expecially Edward with his Santa hat and the antlers for Bolt, is sweet. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I really want everything to work out for Bella and Carlisle although that doesn't seem likely at the moment. Really looking forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter! I felt so upset for Edward when he was telling Carlisle about his meeting with Kate. I really hope Carlisle and Edward's relationship can begin to improve now. I really hope Bella and Carlisle can move past what happened and be happy together. Esme's gaze went back and forth between Bella and Jack. She could clearly see the love that wound between the two of them and a million questions started to swirl around her.
"How?" she asked, as tears started to trickle from her verdant eyes. "What happened? How did you find him? How long have you known we were his family?" Both she and Carlisle looked at Bella expectantly.
"It's very long story," Bella chuckled, humorlessly. "Let me start at the beginning."
Bella started to tell the Cullen her tale, starting with finding Jack in the alley and taking him to the police station. She didn't get very far. They were interrupted with the sound of the front door opening and a loud voice calling out of the foyer.
"Mom! We're here!"
Bella felt something tighten in her stomach as she prepared to come face to face with Jack's father. Her nerves were at an all-time high and she briefly wondered if Dr. Cullen could prescribe her something to help prevent an ulcer from forming.
