After unexpectedly being given an antique desk and finding a letter written by Edward to his cousin over nine decades earlier in a hidden compartment, Bella, on a whim, decides to respond and starts them on a journey neither could have ever imagined.
Perhaps there are some things we aren't meant to understand, just accept....
This story will eventually contain character death.

Well I just have to tell you how much I am enjoying this story.
The attention to detail, the writing style, the connection that the characters have attained through the medium of the written word, is in a word superb.
My name is Elley from Oz and reoccuring bouts of cellulitus on my leg means I have to keep it up on pillows on a recliner for several hours each day.
Your kindness, in taking the time from a busy life, in writing this story with such love and care is so very appreciated.
In this chapter I particularly enjoyed Bella's observation of Renee and Phil's relationship, regardless of their age difference.
You give Bella a kindness and hopefulness that is very pleasing. You make Edward's character less controlling and less angst ridden, even in the middle of the war and the epidemic.
I await each update eagerly and read each one with wonder and delight.

I'm afraid only one chapter at a time. Although the story is fully written, its still being betad and edited. I promise, good things will come for Edward and Bella. I won't keep them waiting much longer. I think they've been through enough already! Thanks for reviewing!
