As far as the birth certificate goes, they will eventually talk about, but Edward did what he felt was right at the time. Was it wrong, that will be for Bella to decide. Krazi xoxo Here´s a little sneak peek at the next chapter: “Hey there, buddy,” I cooed softly while I swayed Parker back-and-forth in my arms. “Daddy sure did miss you. Did you miss me too, P?” I asked, sitting down in the glider that was in the corner of his hospital room. I´d stripped, and took a quick shower in the on-call room, donning a pair of dark blue scrubs and a yellow disposable hospital gown before I entered Parker´s room. You could never be too careful, and I didn´t want to expose my little guy to any unnecessary germs that could possibly prolong his stay. I knew that Bella was anxious to our little guy home, but for me, Parker´s release would be bittersweet. Parker going home meant that I wouldn´t be able to see him everyday. I hadn´t realized that I was crying until a tear splashed against his little blue cap-covered head separating into what seemed like a thousand individual molecules. Feeling the need to explain to my son why I wouldn´t continue to see him every day, I slipped my finger in his tiny hand, relishing the way his little fingers wrapped around my large one, and started to speak. “Well, P,” I paused, fighting with the lump that was clogging my throat. “You´re getting so big, daddy´s so proud of you, sweet boy, proud that after everything he did to your mommy that you´re healthy, growing big and strong, and soon you´ll get to go home.” I bit the inside of my cheek, trying in vain to hold back my sob. Unsuccessful in attempt, “I´m so sorry, son” fell from my lips in a broken cry. “It´s all my fault that you´re in here; I will never be able make it up to you, but by God, I plan to die trying.” Parker´s eyes fluttered open, staring up at me as if he was offering me a tiny piece of absolution. Though some may not agree, and argue that it was gas, I´ll swear to my dying day that he looked up at me and smiled. Not that it was even remotely possible, but in that moment, my love for this tiny innocent creature in my arms seemed to quadruple in its intensity. Without even looking at the screen, I knew that our time was up for today. Once Bella returned, she and Mac would be here for the rest of the night. Bella was such a good mother, making time for both of our children. Even though it was against hospital policy, she insisted that Mac be allowed spend the night in her brother´s room; having me for a father and Carlisle Cullen as your grandfather came with many perks that we had no problem using. Parker´s suite was state of the art, and if not for the obvious knowledge that this was a hospital, you would think that you were staying in a suite at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Being a children´s hospital, we had several rooms that were setup for long-term care, making families feel like they were at a home-away-from-home when their child was hospitalized long-term for chronic illnesses. Bella and Mac were able to sleep in a comfortable queen-sized bed and the room even had a small kitchenette complete with a microwave and nice-sized refrigerator. That way, Bella had plenty of liquids at her disposal to keep her hydrated for breastfeeding, and Mac could have juice and snacks to tide her over during the day. Like I said, it was the perfect set-up! Reluctantly, I stood to my feet, trying not to jostle the sleeping infant in my arms. Taking care with his wires and IV, I placed a lingering kiss atop Parker´s head and gently laid back in his bassinette. The door opened, and I didn´t even have to turn around to know who it was. I knew that when I didn’t immediately respond to my mother´s text, she would send my father looking for me. A strong hand gripped my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. “I´m sorry son, but it´s time,” he whispered solemnly. Even though he didn´t agree with my actions, he was still my father. And when I hurt, simply put, he hurt too! Leaning down one last time, I brushed my lips against his cheek. “I love you son, be a good boy for mommy and sissy tonight. I´ll see you soon,” I promised, praying that it was one I could keep. “I hope...” Unable to stomach the look of pity that was sure to be in my father´s eyes, I turned and walked out of the room without so much as sparing him a backward glance.

Chuckled at Bella bold approach to answering the door, but remember the discomfort when time had lapsed between feedings. She was just ready for relief. Not quite the greeting Edward was expecting. That would be a nice side note........his thoughts on a lusciously full boob be served up at the door. Haha.

Unfortunately, I am a teacher by day and don't have the opportunity to reply to reviews...I'm busy teaching the future...heaven help them! I can't write reviews from work very easily because I'm sure Big Brother is watching over my shoulder, wondering why I wm writing the stuff I do. LOL So, I'm limited to a few hours in the evening and I'm also trying to write the next chapter of this silly tale.

The Blue Room of Lewd Behavior is a play on "The Red Room of Pain" which is mentioned in Master of the Universe (Bella's favorite story---which is Master of Her Universe). If you haven't read it it's a wonderful read..probably the best Twilight fanfiction written, but it has some BDSM themes. E.L.James is the author and the story was pulled and published as a series: Fifty Shades of Gray, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. Wonderful series. Available through TWCS publishing house. Worth the money. And my fave fic as well, since I am bellybeans at heart. ;)

Wow, Bella really did take everything 'Stardusted' wrote to heart. I like how she broke it down, even giving small bits of insight on herself. She seems so playful in this environment. Little does she know that Edward will be able to pick up on this and ponder what he can do to incorporate this into the changes he is making on his own. She is an external force working on him. She may not be using direct force but her natural forces are definitely causing a reaction of much needed change for Edward to find his HEA.
Looking forward to the continuation of their newest form of communication. Working through their thoughts and some awkwardness that they might not be able to in person.

Glad you liked chapter 36. The heated discussion between E & B was at the end of chapter 35--the playlist E had made and which B was misinterpreting and which he explained to her in the hot tub gazebo. Chapter 37 was what was going on outisde while B & E were talking inside and then what followed once they'd had their talk and returned to the party: the birthday song for Emmett, etc.
There will still be some secrets left at the end of the evening, though. ;)

Edward's approach to confronting Alice was a bit more calculated than I imagined. I thought he might let his emotions run the show.
The team did a great job supporting him as well as keeping their environment as natural as they always are. Esme can't fool Edward and Edward can't fool his mom/aunt. They are very cute when calling each other out on their feelings.
Carlisle and Esme.......perfect together in their first phase of flirting and getting to know each other. Jasper's empathy and steadfast ways are slowly working their way into Alice's fears of another family member being lost to sharks.
Loved Bella's saucy comeback to Edward's flirtation.

Jealousy is a new and unbecoming side of Edward. But I think he is grasping the idea of others appreciating Bella's beautiful personality.

Yeah, Edward has a way of letting MMR become the biggest thing in his world and setting aside all other things. It's why Whit and Lee every so often mention that he has to keep B his main focus. They know how lost he can get.
Yes! Leah knows how this all works and isn't afraid to let everyone else know! Super big yes!! Jacob will absolutely marry Leah - big wedding with all the bells and whistles. He just loves to give her a hardtime and pretend he has no interest.
Oh Edward is absolutely grasping the idea that B is loved by way more folks than him! He'll use it to keep himself on the right path with his work-life balance.

The images you captured through words had me rivited to my chair! My heart rate was even a bit elevated as the intensity of the situation grew.
The team effort, including Esme and Carlisle as well as Alice, ensured a successful completion to their mission. All that preparation didn't stop the unpredictability of the smaller male shark but it did allow for smooth responses from each of the members fulfilling their duties.
I wonder what Carlisle's thoughts are in the aftermath or Alice's , for that matter. This is all so strange and new to them. Granted Alice has had a bit more insight into the team dynamics but this level of excitement was still overwhelming.
So glad Esme and Carlisle returned to support thus endeavor.

This is why Edward makes sure that his backups have backups :) Carlisle is definitely straddling that fence between supporting Bella and begging her to stay out of the water. No matter his personal feelings, he is absolutely proud of her progress and her strength. He has raised a strong woman!

I've forgotten that it has only been three months since Bella invaded the MMR team creating a new way of living for absolutely everyone involved. Each member learning how to adjust to this significant change in dynamics. Including the outlying family members.
This entire chapter has been devoted to the ever changing formation of the (extended) family unit.

Bella's struggling with how her family fell apart due to tragedy and is watch how another became stronger through their adversity. The questions of why almost become irrelevant at some point because they turn into roadblocks towards a path of acceptance and peace. Once Bella reconciles this thought her future will begin to heal her past. I worry that Alice may begin to feel the separation from the new family bonds she made in such a short time frame.
Did I miss Gopher's family being at this party?
Esme was chicken to tell Max about Carlisle! Haha

Gopher's family could not be at the party since they all live in Tennessee. He and Rosalie will be going to visit them very soon.

Impressed with Edwards evaluation of the days events and how he was the first to speak up. Giving her the chance to redeem herself in time.
