Lex - great great chapter. first off screw the reviewers who are picking on you for that! second and most importantly, you have written an amazing story with a well thought out plot an complex characters, you are amazingly tatented.
In this chapter I was a little worried about Edward letting Bella go with Aro, yes he was disappointed, but I hope he realizes that he did the right thing. She needed to go and it might have been better if he wasn't there with Renee. Chances are she wouldn't have been so "honest" if Edward was the one with her.
I have been ok with the lack of communication between Aro and Bella, so I guess I could go either way after this chapter. Even though they weren't talking, it was obvious that Aro still cared for Bella and he would never let any harm come to her.

They aren't quite ok yet - I hope they are soon. I think Alex should try to take a break from Carlisle but I doubt that it will last long. Lou is going to stick his gun, I mean foot in his mouth. Aro, I think Aro and Edward need to have another conversation and either distance themselves from each other or accept his place as a borhter like Carlisle, because this trust you don't trust you stuff is hard on everyone involved. He has always kind of been on the sidelines and for him to think he has a right to say what he did as far as the wives go is overstepping - I have relatives like that and I wouldn't have been as composed as Bella was. V - this was great. I liked the different point of views. Edward is going to have tons to keep track of. I really don't trust Carlisle's love for his brother anymore and I think it has been really interesting to see how thier relationship has changed from the beginning of the first story to now - I hope that you will bring it full circle back to them being able to count on one another (after you put them through a few more paces). Esme - just wow. And Aro - stupid. You know I totally see Lau dying the Drea DeMateo way I just never clicekd with her from the beginning of the story. I do believe that the only reason she and Aro got married was because of her pregnancy and the pressure that Bella put on Aro. Keep up the amazing story writing.

LEx - I don't know when you posted this but it was really well done. Screw the negative reviews. This has become one of my favorite fics. The characters are dark and flawed. The chapter was intense but in line with the characters you created. My question though, is she pregnant? I mean she has been sleeping a lot - is that from stress and depression or pregnancy.
Loved mob boss wife Bella throwing her weight around with Lauren as well. I mean she took her children and then abandoned them. If Aro was Aro, there is no way he would put up with that. Great job.

Wow I can't beleive Carlisle let her off. Especially after he told her about Marcus. And really Es wanted to be with Edward? Can you delve into that a little more because I don't really get it. From the earlier story, she didn't seem to show any kind of preference towards him, only Carlisle? Did I completely miss some cues or interpret this wrong?
Also, you really have me worried that this is going to come down to a brother vs brother conclusion. I am worried because the one thing this story had was no matter what thier innate nature was that they were brothers and nothing could get in the way of that.

Lex - another amazing chapter. So much drama and up and downs. I liked the conversation about another child. Edward wanted to use it as a fix and Bella uses a child as an escape from finding herself and doesn't want that anymore. That was an excellent scene. very real. The whole alice thing was hard, but you did a good job with it. Since Alice and Jasper aren't really key fugures in theis story, it seems a little much. I would like you to mention that E took care of it, but I don't know if I need the detail. Seriously though, I love this story. It is the one I am always anxiously awaiting an update for. Great chapter and I would have loved to see Ned as more of a antagonist before he was neutered. I do think Edward needs a lesson here because I think when it comes to commuicaiton he is still lacking. This chpater ended by making me laugh. Bri behavior was unbeleive able and I think the punichsment is quit harsh but with the familial unit I guess in her world it is appropriate. I love apples and the old men though.
