Wow!! Great chapter!!! Poor Bella, all those mixed up feelings , and add in those pregnancy hormones, she really has to be strong and a fighter to get through this!! And Rose just ROCKED!! Such sage advice, so glad it came from Rose, because Bella knows she tells it like it is.
Wasn't too sure about Edward talking to Charlie first, but understood he was trying to be a "man" and taking responsibility, and also telling Charlie that he needs his help in convincing Bella she is not alone!!
So glad that all the grandpadre's know, and so totally agree with not telling Alice yet!! I really hope the New Orleans trip helps them along. I know things won't be magically resolved, but hopefully Bella gets more of a "spark" and gets on track to fully trusting Edward in the future. I have no doubt about Edward proving and making everything work out ok for them all!!

I know that I haven't posted in awhile (shame on me) but real life has been a whirlwind lately! So I got some extra time on my hands now and I am doing the "Happy Dance"!! I just knew it!! I just knew that Numb was Edward! I am so glad that Bella now knows and realizes she can see things "differently" now that she really remembers Numbs views on his relationship woes!! I just can't wait till Edward finds out that Bella is BB!! I really think that things are going to get better and keep getting better from now on!!

Edward was standing at the sink brushing his teeth, the muscles in his shoulder flexing as his arm moved. I reached out to run my fingers down the length of his spine before wrapping my hand around his waist and laying my head between his shoulder blades.
“I’m trying Edward, please don’t be mad at me” I could hear the air leave his lungs.
“Bella, I’m not mad at you. I am furious with a world that would allow so much hurt into your life. I want to take it all away, right now- today. I can’t and that makes me feel inadequate. But I know it’s going to take time and a lot of reassurance and baby…” He stopped abruptly.
“What?” I wanted him to finish his thought. But instead he turned around to face me.
“Nothing…” I knew there was something but I had no clue what it was. “…I told you last night I would give you all the time you needed, and I’m not going to push you, so…nothing. When you’re ready to let go of the shame you carry, you’ll tell me.”

Great update! I personally loved all of it and was no way upset with anything that happened between Edward and Bella. Loved the first "public" O!! It was more than just between Dom and sub, it was between two people who also love one another very much. And Edward singing to her - that's just enough to enduce major panty dropping!! ;)
So what trouble is brewing their way I wonder? Not just from Bella's past, but from seemingly some vindictive people who can't handle that Edward is now off the market so to speak.
I guess we will be getting more answers soon!

WooHoo!! An update!! And what a great one it is!
My heart just bleeds for Edward, but at the same time I'd like to kick his ass for messing up the best thing in his life. Though it wouldn't seem like it, Edward is so insecure for being such a kickass Rock Star! And even though Em's advice before wasn't the best, his latest is something Edward needs to follow. And as much as I love Edward, he deserves getting cold-cocked by Jakob. It's sad really, but Edward is losing everyone around him. He needs to straighten out his life for him, and then go from there.

Thank you! :) You're so dead-on with everything you said in your review and how I feel. I was actually getting so annoyed with Edward as I was writing him this past chapter that I just wanted to punch him - so I made Jacob do it instead haha ;) Things will start to turn around in the next 2 chapters - Edward's going to get that wake-up call soon. I'm starting to write Chapter 22 now. It's Bella's POV, which is always easier for me to write. Hopefully it won't take too long!

Her whole world came totally crashing down on her, and who is she really left with standind by her side? And Edward!! Gah!! Why do people drag themselves down that way? I mean he couldn't admit what he did, and then to lie straight to B's face about using! What was he thinking!! As you can tell, I am also furious with him and everyone else who helped keep the lie, though ultimately the blame lies with E because he threw a tantrum because B couldn't be there when he wanted her to be!

Great update! I was just thinking about this fic and am just excited to see an update!
Love that Edward knows that he has a problem, that it's his fault, and went to rehab. I really hope that he stays the course, which I am sure he will, not just for himself, but to be the man Bella deserves.
So glad that Bella and Alice are "back together" and that Em and Bella talked. Happy that Em told Edward about Bella and the hospital. And Jake is truly a friend to Bella telling her she has to just be "Her" at the VMAs.
And of course you left us with one doozy of a cliffhanger! Bella and Edward face to face. I really hope that they both get through this meeting and realize that they both really need to talk to one another.

Wow, just wow. It's hard to put into words the emotions that are going through me. Frustration as some answers are just out of reach. Heart wrenching conflict on what to do (as if I am one of the characters) and where this is going. Love so strong it chokes you. Utter grief and sadness because it 's so hard to let go, but also knowing it's the thing to do. And of course as a reader, questioning when and where is the turning point for happiness? Closure? Ending? And of course Hope, that this will ultimately end the way I'd want it too, but still on the fence how?....... This is why I read. Because this is such an amazing story to pull all those things out of me, the reader. Can't really put more down in words as it's all swirling around inside.

WooHoo! Doing a happy dance that B & E have finally kissed! I absolutely love this fic. Though it's heart wrenching and I cry like a baby at times, I have faith in you that there is a happy ending coming.
So I am hoping that now that Edward knows that Bella shares some of his feelings that he will hopefully now choose to fight for his life instead of feeling he needs to control the way he dies now.

Edward is starting to see Bella's feelings for him, but he's a bit stubborn. He's made his decisions, and he feels his reasoning is sound, so it's going to take a lot for him to rethink them. There will be more of Jasper, too.

Thank you! LOL! You're not the first person to say that about the good days! I'm so glad you've fallen in love with my characters so much that whatever they're doing affects you. That's a huge compliment to me. :) Hmm...interesting idea about setting up the room to feel like a real date... Ah, poor Edward! Things are so complicated for him! This weekend did give Edward a lot to consider, but it all comes back to whether or not he has treatment options, and if he does, if he believes there's any hope in them. He spent a long time making his decisions, and he won't rethink them easily, but there's always hope. :)
