When I got back to Bella she was half awake thanks to Seth’s persistence, I sat on the edge of the couch looking down at her.
“Hey” my fingers ran along the line of her jaw.
“Hi. Do I smell food” I smiled at her
“You do. Are you hungry?”
“Starving” she admitted while she sat up “It’s weird because I ate lunch”
“Yeah well that was four hours ago and your body worked really hard on the way home” her lip went between her teeth while her face flushed pink. I chuckled at her response “What are you thinking?”
“I’m thinking about my reward. I get a reward.” Bella’s whole face lit up and her eyes sparkled.
“That you do, what would you like?” I asked tucking a lock of hair behind her ear

Picking up the first box I actually grunted because it was heavier than I thought it would be. After putting it on the table I turned around to see Bella carrying another one of the boxes.
“Isabella what are you doing?” I asked her while taking the box from her hand then realized the one she had was heavier then the first.
“I was carri…” I cut her off before she could finish
“I thought you had a fifteen pound weight limit”
“I do…” I stared at her in bewilderment
“This box has to be at least forty pounds” she looked at me like a deer caught in the head lights. I wasn’t mad –much- it was more concern for her wellbeing. Once the box was on the table I pulled Bella in for a hug. “I don’t want you to hurt yourself, so don’t do that anymore”

I can see where the punishment was appropriate. It makes her think that is for sure, and that is what Edward wants. She has be given the restriction from the doctor for a reason. She needs to pay better attention to that. She couldn't leave with out Edward anyway, so why not let him put the table up and then they could leave and she would not risk being hurt.
As for Leah, does she not think she is not as good or as pretty or something or was that her just feeling big because of the pregnancy. I have a feeling she is feeling left out too. She has always had Bella almost to herslef and now she hardly sees her. It's like she is mad at Bella because she has new friends and doesn't want to share her. Am I way off here?

Leaving out a long sigh I focused really hard on opening the twist tie that held the bread wrapper closed. Edward moved with me and as he passed by to get the wine out of the cooler his hand ran down the length of my arm. The extra sensation from his touch made my muscles clench tighter and I think I let out a whimper because Rose glanced at me with a smirked.

I needed something else to occupy my mind and it didn’t matter what it was “Jasper” I looked up from the two loaves of bread “could you turn on some music?”
“Sure…anything in particular?” he asked moving to a panel in the wall. Before I could answer Emmett made an observation.
“You alright little Bella, you seem a kind of jumpy tonight” Edward’s voice came from behind me.
“Isabella’s been jumpy all weekend”
“I have not!” the words left my mouth without any thought of the repercussions they might cause. Emmett chuckled and a small giggle came from Rose who was standing next to me, but my eyes went to Edward. His face became stone cold hardness while his eyes widened as they turned dark.

Poor Bella sometimes she just can't stop from saying what she thinks...other times she doesn't think things through all the way or from different views. Now, I have to admit I would have said the same thing without thinking in this situation, but she was a jumpy...why did she think she wasn't? That is not such a bad thing is it?
Alice is so funny. Emmett too...the whole conversation about the girls using a carrot on Alice was funny. I just love how everyone gets along so well. The trip is going to be a lot of fun. I am glad that Carlisle and Esme are going as well. I hope there is not modified stuff going on when they are on the trip. I hope it is just Edward and Bella.

“Hey” my thoughts had taken over my attention so much that Edward’s voice startled me causing me to flinch.

I should have expected that she would have a nightmare, the trauma of having our home invaded was enough to unnerve me, I can only guess what memories it stirred in her. Removing my shirt that was full of tears and dirty from her nose I laid back down with her head on my chest. “We’ll change the locks tomorrow and figure out who it was, that will make you feel safer. It was just a dream Bella, I swear I would die before I let anyone hurt you.”
“Don’t say that!”
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about when she abruptly shot her head up to look at me. “I couldn’t stand it if something happened to you. I couldn’t take it”
Even in the darkness of the room I could see the fierceness in Bella’s eyes as the tears fell down her face. “Nothing is going to happen to me, and nothing is going to happen to you. Now stop with the tears and lets go back to sleep”
Cupping her face my thumb wiped away the tears as she nuzzled her cheek against my palm before turning her head to placing a soft kiss in the center of my hand. “Do you think I’m crazy?”
“No…” why the hell would I think that?
“…I think it was a stressful night and I think you have a lot on your mind and have dealt with more in your life then any one person should have to deal with. I told you before baby, I think you are the strongest person I know; a lesser person would have called it quits a long time ago. Now let’s go back to sleep, I have a promise to keep to a dog”

Walking into the house all the cares that had been forgotten came crashing back as he told me that the locksmith would be there in about a half-hour. I used that time to tell him what I had learned about Heather.
“Do you think that could have been her on the video?” He asked me as we sat outback playing fetch with Seth and a tennis ball.
“It could have been. But how would she know where you lived. I mean really Edward if she knew where I was why go to the center?” He thought about that for a few seconds as he once again threw the ball into the grass.

Edward took the lid off his coffee while I took a bite of the danish moaning as the sweet gooey goodness melted in my mouth. The mixture of berries was a perfect balance between sweet and tangy with a thin layer of warm yummy cheese and sweet drizzle.
“MMMmmmmnnnn” I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head. When I opened my eyes Edward was looking at me licking his bottom lip. “What?”

Excusing myself I went into the kitchen to check in dinner, everything was done so after pulling the chicken out of the oven - to allow it to rest - I started putting the other stuff into serving bowls. The sound of the kitchen door swinging open made me turn to see who was there, and I smiled as Aro joined me.
“Isabella I don’t wish to disturb you, but may I speak with you for a minute?”
Not wanting to be rude I stopped what I was doing. “Yes Sir, do you need something?”
“No..no, please continue, I can talk while you work.” I asked him to give me a second while I took the Corn Pie out of the oven because I didn’t want him talking to my back. Once it was out I gave him my attention.
Eyeing the pie I had just removed he smiled at me warmly “It’s nice to see you so carefree around everyone. You seem much more confident and I must admit it does me good to see that. You are young and need to laugh more.”
I giggled “Emmett is easy to laugh with”
Aro agreed with me with a slight nod of his head “And Edward?”
“Edward is easy to laugh with too.”
“Good, it truly brings me joy to see you happy and carefree.”

I guess I always thought of Aro as Bella just as they are. He was a mentor, Unlce, someone she could learn from, but not in a sexual way. I think Bella needs to talk to Edward and the money and the financial investor. He would be hurt if she didn't and continued to have Aro go with her. They could both go with her if she wanted. I am sure they would agree to that. But then again if they are going to be together they need to talk about this stuff.
I think they had a fun evening with some of their family. I can't wait for their vacation. I would say while they are in Forks they should drop the D/s. I love then when they are fun and carefree and I think that would be good for them while they are there. It will be the first time Edward meets most of Bella's family. He shouldn't have to have the extra added work of planning everything as the Dominate and being in that frame of mind. Sorry for my rambling.

Taking another drink of coffee I didn’t say anything, but that was twice now that something was not put on the calendar. The lunch with Jane yesterday- which I found out about accidentally - that was ultimately cancelled and now the waxing, I guess my submissive will have some explaining to do. But at the moment I thought of something else.
“If you are waxing have them remove the remaining patch of hair” Bella’s hand stopped mid-way to her mouth as she just stared at me and I wondered what had caused the reaction I was getting.
“W..Why? You said I could keep it”
Taking a drink of coffee I thought over my words to her on the subject “If I remember correctly I said you could keep it for the time-being but I would like it gone now”
“Can we talk about this?” her eyes stayed focused on the few pieces of bagel that were still on the paper towel. I didn’t understand what the problem was; we were talking about a tiny little patch of neatly trimmed hair.
“What’s the big deal?” I watched as she sat there quietly staring at the table chewing her bottom lip. “Bella?”
Devastation is the only word that came to my mind when she looked into my eyes “I know this is really stupid, but can I please keep it until next time?”

“Yeah…since I was ten or eleven.” there must have been some kind of bewilderment on my face because she justified herself. “I told you this. Charlie worked all kinds of weird hours; mostly he would sleep during the day and …”
Breaking in to her train of thought I made the assumption “You did all the chores”
She shrugged “Someone had too”
I truly couldn’t imagine any ten year old taking it upon themselves to be responsible for keeping a house. I suppose that would be another reason why at the tender age of eighteen Bella thought herself ready for marriage. It seems so clear to me that she had hopes and dreams for a regular life, college, career and all the other things that eighteen year olds dream about. However in her advanced maturity she pushed her own happiness aside and took on the responsibility of trying to please someone else. I had thought Bella to be a natural submissive and it would seem like she was.
The mistake she made was in her choice of partners. I have no doubt that had he not been abusive she would have been a perfect wife. Bella did everything within her power to see to his happiness even to the point of losing her own.

Leah went into the bathroom while Bella came around the corner into the kitchen. Our eyes met immediately as a warm smile engulfed her face. It was clear she had been crying and it took everything I had in me to remain in the chair and not run to comfort her. Sue looked up as she started putting food on the table then went over to hug Bella just as I wanted to. Bella nodded at whatever Sue was saying then left her go so she could say hello to her father.
“Hi daddy” Bella said wrapping her arms around him from the back before leaning down to kiss his cheek.

Even though part of what Jane advised Bella was taking things a step futher then Edward was ready for her to go.
