Awesome chapter! So much happened. I love that the neighbor knew that Jacob took the flowers. I am so glad that Edwrad followed her to the cemetery and was there for her. It was sad to think about Jacob walking away, but it was time for Bella to let him go. He will always be in her heart, but she also had to move on and live her life.
Everyone meeting at the cemetery was priceless. The toasts were awesome, but Edward's was very special. This was just an amazing chapter. Great job...thanks so much!!!

I love how he took care of everyone before he left...even Jake. I can't remember...do we know why Bella is so afraid to ride in a car? Why does she ride the bus sometimes. What is the difference to her? I am so glad Edward was there to take Bella home. I really hate to thinks she would have been waiting until 2am just to get on the bus. Oh and I can't wait for Bella to talk to Charlotte!
I don't even know where to start with the three witches. I don't know that Alice can be redeemed in this story. She is terrible. Siobahn just doesn't matter. She is the one that is trailer trash, not Bella. I hope Jasper and Emmett give their wives an ear full for the way they acted. Maybe Jasper needs to have Alice start seeing a doctor. She needs help!!!
I am not sure who we will see next time. Could it be the biggest witch of all?? I can't imagine what Edward would do if she showed up. I am sure he would have to stand in line behind Zafrina!

Well we knew that you all would have some sharp feelings about the behavior of Alice, Rose, and Siobhan. We were excited to see that a few of you mentioned the seemingly difference in Esme and her attitude. Have faith in Jasper and Emmett, they will be having words with their wives. As for Siobhan, I think she has worn out her welcome around the table completely. So what did you all think of Charlotte? She will be important in the coming story. A lot of you are guessing that the witch in the next chapter will be Sue Swan, but I assure you that it is not her. There is a lot of super exciting chapters coming soon. She looks perplexed. “Edward, aren’t you expected to be at the college; I mean, I thought you have classes today?”
I chuckle. “Yes I do, but I got this morning off. I am using some of my vacation time. I would like to take you to see Charlotte today. She is the one that sells the girl stuff; remember I told you I would take you to see her? She was sitting on my right at the ball.” Bella nods her head at my explanation, but I see she is biting her lip again. I know she is worried, so I do my best to reassure her. “I will be there with you. I am not going to leave you, I promise.” Bella nods again as we begin walking to the bus stop. We take the bus and arrive at Charlotte’s store a little after half past nine. Charlotte had texted me earlier and asked that we enter through the back entrance. She was going to leave it open for us, as she had the front locked up so that no unexpected customers arrived. I hold onto Bella’s hand as we walk thought the door.
Charlotte sees us as soon as we enter; she smiles and makes her way toward us. “Edward, Isabella; come on in. I already have a bunch of stuff laid out for you. I have done this for a few years, so I am pretty good at guessing sizes.” I rub Bella’s hand and smile at Charlotte’s obvious excitement. “Isabella, I am so sorry, sometimes my mouth runs away with me. It’s very nice to meet you. My name is Charlotte, but you can call me Chas; all my friends do.” Charlotte gives Bella a big smile, but keeps her distance from Bella for now.
“It is nice to meet you. I am Isabella, but you can call me Bella.” I squeeze Bella’s hand, trying hard not to jump for joy. This is the first time that she has openly asked someone, apart from me, to call her Bella.
Charlotte smiles at her. “Well, I was thinking that this stuff would be perfect for you.” I look at the collection of bras and panties that Charlotte has picked out. They are mostly plain white ones. There are some with lace, but none them are overly sexy like the stuff that was in Alice’s bag. I am both relieved and somewhat disappointed about that. “Come with me, Bella, so I can take your measurements to ensure that we will have the correct size.”
Bella looks at me and I nod my head at her. “Bella…” I clasp her face between my hands. “Baby, I’ll be right here. I will not leave you.” Bella whispers a low thank you, and strokes my hand before giving it a squeeze at the end. I watch as she walks away with Charlotte.

WOW...the responses are so awesome that Nikky and I are both giddy. There haven’t been many questions asked in the first 60 reviews, so I am going to answer a few non questions I noticed. Bella was never kidnapped by Sue and Charlie. Charlie Swan is Bella’s biological father, and Bella was sent to live with him after her mother died of cancer. Aro honestly never knew of Bella’s real age, he had suspicions that she was not raised correctly and was acting younger than the 18 he thought her to be, because of the inept social skills. Zafrina did not know either, but again had those same social skill thoughts that her son had. We in no way were bashing DCFS or DHS or any other social workers, by saying that the kids would be taken by the state. If anyone had turned Sue in for abandoning the kids the almost 6 years ago now she has been gone, the kids would have become wards of the state, because at 13 no state official or judge would have deemed Bella capable of fully caring for 2 yr old twins alone. Just want to say that we both believe that it takes a special kind of person to be a social worker, and we both give those of you who are in the field of social work a round of applause because the things you have to see and or deal with can’t always be fun. I have to say that the wonderful response to this story is more than either Nikky or myself could have hoped for, and we owe that all to you the readers. THANK YOU! I dropped Bella of at Seth and Leah’s school. Before leaving her, I told her I would pick her up from the college when she got off. It was so fucking hard to leave her; I just wanted to stay with her forever. I knew the minute she was away from me, my old doubts would come back. I knew that I had to talk with Jasper about her upbringing. It’s that thought that makes me leave, even though I want to wait with her, take them home and stay with them. I am really at a loss for what I should do. What can I do? What do I do? How do I help her? How can someone so pure and good, come from people so evil? The questions are killing me, but I know one thing for certain: if that bitch doesn’t stay the fuck away on her own, I will make her. That sorry excuse of a parent will never get her hands on my Bella, Seth, or Leah again. I will protect them with my very last breath, and deplete every cent I have, if need be.
I sit at my piano and just start playing. I let the music guide me, keeping Bella in my thoughts as a play. I let out all the feelings I have been denying myself. I haven’t been at it long before I find myself playing ‘Angel Eyes’ by The Jeff Healey Band, and I begin to sing along with my playing.

Thank you once again for reading and reviewing His Cimmerian View. As you can see Edward’s view is changing and for the most part it is better. His time at Aro’s will take a drastic downward spiral soon, once he realizes that without thinking of Bella he is rendered unable to perform. He will struggle with this mentally, and as you will see from the below teaser he will finally seek some assistance. A lot of you are worried over his reaction to her age, and how soon that will all unfold. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but I will say that you will all want to be sure to read chapters 17 and 18 rather closely. Jess2002 who has been on board for discussions since the beginning ideas of this story said to tell you that in her opinion chapter 11, will be over-shadowed by chapters 12, 13, and 14. There are some really great chapters coming up here and according to what I am hearing from the pre-readers they will make the story even better. There are also a lot of questions coming in about Charlie and Sue Swan. First Charlie Swan will most certainly not be making a show in this story, he is dead. His death is what sent Sue into premature labor. Second, eventually even if just for court, Sue Swan will make an appearance. There are a lot of people in this story that will bring drama to the surface, and there is a lot of story yet to come. Thank you for your continued support in us and our story. We hope to hear more from you again soon. We will be right around 30 to 35 chapters when complete. See you next Thursday.

Jasper sets the bag he carried down, and lets out another sigh. “Edward, as your friend I am here if you need to talk. As a psychologist, I strongly recommend that you talk to someone soon. Edward, I do mean soon, because you’re not helping anyone by getting so worked up. What just happened is a form of an anxiety attack. Your fear almost caused you to have another panic attack. They are not just going to go away. You need to talk to someone to help deal with it.”
I look at him, then close my eyes and pinch the bridge of my nose. “You can’t help her if you stay on this path, Edward. She needs to talk to someone too. Just think of how you would feel if she doesn’t talk to someone. What if it was her who keeps putting it off, and you have to watch her slowly lose it and get closer and closer to the edge.”
I nod my head at him, fuck I would drag her to see someone if I have too. “Make me an appointment, for at night not during the day. Just let me know when it is, I will be there.”
Jasper nods his head at me. “Have a good night, Edward.” My head rests against the door after Jasper leaves. I feel the restriction in my chest, the sharp pain, shortness of my breaths and my heart is pounding. What is fucking wrong with me, I can’t believe I get myself so worked up about Bella, but fuck I am so fucking glad that was not why he was here. It doesn’t mean that she is okay. She could be lying hurt in the fucking park all beaten and broken. Well, more broken than what she is. Fuck, don’t think like that. Zafrina would have called me by now. Bella is fine. She is at home in bed. I’ll get to see her tomorrow; when I drop off the bags of clothes. If she is all right, that is. She didn’t go to the police the last time. Maybe they went after her again, knowing she is an easy target. God only knows if it has happened before. Just because she went home, doesn’t mean that she’s okay. Anything could have happened. Fuck, it is after midnight, it’s not like I can go over there and knock on the door. I just want to check on her, but if I go over there she will think I am nuts.
I pace my floor pulling at my hair. I should call her. I would know by the sound of her voice if she okay or not. Fuck, I can’t call her at this time of night. Why in the fuck can’t she just take the fucking bus, instead of walk? You know what, just fucking call her. Fuck!
I pick up my phone and dial her number. Just after four rings someone picks up.

Thanks for reading and reviewing. Each week I read the reviews for like the first 3-4 hours to see what kind of questions you all want answers to, and this time there are hardly any questions at all.
So I thought we could touch base on some comments. We have gotten a lot of Great chapter, sad ending, but it was needed...stuff (and it was needed). ‘Edward had to allow the pain to flow out instead if keeping it locked inside of him.’
We have had a few diabolical people suggest that Edward would maybe recognize Sue and Charlie Swan, or Harry Clearwater. ‘This is an interesting theory.’
A lot of you would love to lynch Sue. ‘But first she has to make an appearance.’
Some of you have noted that you for see Gina as being a problem. ‘Ummm…YEAH!’
A few have wondered if Tanya and little Edward are in fact dead and buried. ‘In the graves in Port Angeles are in fact the bodies of Tanya Denali, and her son known to all as Edward Anthony Masen Jr.’
The comments people have made on the complexity of our characters though is what I want to touch on the most. The fact that we have made the characters so out of character in most cases is what I am enjoying so much. I personally love Alice in the books, I think she is WAY underplayed in the movies. I love Alice she is one of my favorite characters, but to make her this unlikeable character is hard, yet I think it really gives so much to this storyline. Alice will learn some very valuable lessons in this story and that old saying a leopard can’t change his spots, does not apply to Ali-cats.
I like Rose and if I (Kasi) had to compare myself to a character from Twilight that I am most like it would be her. I am not a royal bi*ch, but I am pretty outspoken and tend to say exactly what is on my mind, and that is how I see Rose in the books and movies. The Rose in this story though goes above and beyond the snippy, and stuck in her ways bitchy Rose from the books or movies. Our Rose is a downright spoiled rotten mean girl, who will never grow up because she wants to remain that rich girl who has everyone surrounding themselves in her light to better their standings. Edward could have married the high class daughter of some billionaire tycoon, and Rose would have issue unless she bowed down to Rose.
Jasper in this story is one of the most in character, characters we have. Very smart and laid back, goes with the flow and yet is always there to help calm matters that need attention.
Emmett, God I love Emmett. He is so fun loving and wild, but he is so very smart and he can step up and show it when the time is called on him to do so. You will be seeing a lot more of this intellectual and loving Emmett as the story progresses.

Chapter 20: Snow Storms Teaser...Subject to changes during beta process.
Emmett has filed papers with the court, getting Bella temporary custody for Seth and Leah. Angela, Ben’s wife, who is a social worker, is making case notes on Bella’s behalf. She is also talking to each of the kids, and doing a home study to make sure that they are having all of their needs met.
It was not an easy task to get Bella to agree to all of this, but when Emmett explained that if her stepmom came back, she could take Seth and Leah and Bella might never see them again. He also explained that because Bella was now of age, she could keep it from happening by letting us help her.
I didn’t like scaring her, but it worked. She thinks that if her mother gets them, she would not allow her to see them anymore. She is afraid that Sue would then leave them with someone else, and they would end up getting hurt. She said she would rather be there for them to keep them safe, so she finally agreed to sign the proper paperwork. We all told her there was no way that she would lose the kids.
Angela sat her down and explained to her that with her support system, it would be in Seth and Leah’s best interest to become their legal guardian. It took us all a while to convince her that, since she was now a legal adult, and she had been taking such great care of them, that the court would be on her side. Carlisle, Rev. Weber, Jasper, Peter, Marcus, Samantha - who is another worker at Jasper and Peter’s office, Chas, Esme, Aro, Zafrina, and myself, were finally able to convince her. So far, quite a few people from the church and Sunday school program have written out statements, all in Bella’s favor. Aro and Zafrina have documented files that they have kept; all of which have been copied and sent to Emmett. Aro has documentation of all of the work she has done over the years. With Aro’s help, and Bella’s social security number, I have paid all of her back Social Security taxes, so she has documented earned income. Bella is also now a real employee of the college. She is no longer paid under the table.
Because Bella has had no education, we have set up a verbal IQ test for her to take. Since she is so smart in mathematics alone, I know her scores will be quite high. Once she can fully read, we are going to have her take the GED test and get her a diploma. Angela said that because the kids are in school, her inability to read will not be held against her. Angela was also quick to point out, that with the substantial support system that Bella has, DCFS would recommend that the children be placed with her at this point anyway.
Emmett says that at this point, he is ninety-nine point nine percent certain that Bella will be granted full legal guardianship of Seth and Leah in court. Until the hearing, there is a temporary order of guardianship filed, and unless they take Bella to court, neither Sue nor Harry can come in and take the kids away from her. The case has been booked for the second week in February, which gives us eight weeks to prepare.

I am feeling a lot better about Edward. He seems to be really trying to help Bella. He knows there is more to her story. I just wonder when he is going to figure it out. I hope Bella is not upset by Jasper coming by the house. I can see that the kids are everything to Bella. She always makes sure they are taken care of, but I worry about her. I love this story! We are both extremely proud and excited at the response this story continues to garner. Thank you for being one of those who leave us some love. To heed off a bunch of extra questions, we want to be clear that all three of them (Bella, Seth, and Leah) have birth certificates, social security cards, and were born in hospitals. Bella lived with her birth mother for a while (more will come about this soon), then she went to live with her father and step mom (cough.. MONSTER). Bella does not know anything about her actual information; she has been kept ignorant for MANY reasons. Bella does however have all the needed info for the kids, a part of that is because of Zafrina and Aro assisting her in getting the needed paperwork found. As for Edward, you will continue to see the changes she causes in him, and at least they are for the better. Thanks for the story love and we look forward to hearing from you again!

I shake my head. “We are fine Isabella, you can return to what you were doing.” She gives me a nod, turns, and walks away.
“So that the famous Isabella then?” I can’t tell by his face what he is thinking.
“Yeah, that is her, so first thoughts?”
He lets out a sigh and rubs his head. “She’s what, twenty-four?”
I nod my head. “Well, in three weeks she will be.”
He walks with me towards my kitchen. “Well, she sure is small and not just in height. She looks like she has missed some essential nutrients over the years. She’s very pale and the dark coloring under her eyes would lead me to believe that she doesn’t sleep much and she looks to be extremely tired. Her pupils show that she needs more Calcium, and Iron. She also looks to you for permission to call me Jazz. She seems to be unsure of what she is, and isn’t allowed to do.” He stops talking while pouring himself a drink. I pull at my hair having not learned anything new about her.
I make us lunch as we continue to chat some more, but not about the topic I want to discuss, Isabella. I make some extra food for her on the off chance that she hasn’t eaten anything yet. After what I saw at the mall and what Jazz just confirmed, I assume she more than likely has skipped lunch. I decide to make up some sandwiches to go with the soup I am making. I can’t decide on what kind to make, so I make four different kinds. Everything is done, and I carry the covered pot of soup to the table.
“Isa. . . Ouch, what the fuck, Jazz?” I ask rubbing my head where Jasper just slapped me.
“She is not your pet, Edward.”
I glare at him. “Jasper, I know that, I was just. . .”

No Edward has never had a fully healthy relationship with any woman. Not his mother and never a girlfriend. Even his school friend Alice, used him to get her hands on his (adopted) brother and his adopted sister was only nice to him to sink her claws into his other buddy. His biggest betrayal though came from Esme, who was supposed to look out for him. Unfortunetly sometimes judgements cloud preception and choices and things go wrong. Can't give away much more, but you get the idea. Sadly an uneducated illiterate girl will be the one that will hopefully eventually get him to be a whole man.

I was so mad at him the whole time I was reading this chapter. I know things have not been the greatest in his life, but he is not the only one that has had it rough. Chapter 6 Teaser… All Subject to change during the beta process…
The shitting feeling is still there, and I have no idea what the fuck I can do to get rid of it. I head over to Jasper’s office hoping to see him.
“Jasper says that you can go in now.” I look at the woman speaking, and I give her a curt nod as I head into his office. “Edward,” I look at him and he stops talking, and tilts his head to the side. “Okay, what is going on, what happened?” He asks as he waves at me to sit. I sit down on the seat across from him and rub my face. I sigh unsure where to start, so I jump up and start to pace the floor.
“I screwed up, and I mean I really screwed up this time. Jazz, I fucking hurt her, and I mean really fucking hurt her. I don’t know how to fix it. How I can get her to forgive me for what I have done? I mean, fuck I’ll be lucky if she even speaks to me again. Well really I know she will because she, fuck, I don’t want to say she is weak, but if I talk to her she will reply. How do I make right Jazz, without putting myself out there? I don’t want to get hurt again, I could with her and I can’t go through that again. Fuck, but I don’t think she do that, to anyone really. She’s not made that way, but I have really gone and hurt her bad. I never gave her a chance, I was still. . . no, I am to fucking scared. In this case I think I made a new friend, but the dream. . . and I thought she stabbed me in the back like all the others. I see her face in my dreams, the last two nights have been worse than all the rest. I can see how much I hurt her, and the bad thing is she did nothing to warrant my anger. All she did was fucking help me, time after time. So many times, and she has been so hurt before and I know it’s been bad. I can see it clearly in her eyes, the pain and the fear. What if I push it what if she can never let anyone in ever again because what I did.” I am still pacing and pulling my hair, I am so upset. “Fuck Jazz I was a real fucking prick, and complete asshole to her. Tell me what I can do? Please I need to fix this, tell me how I can fix it please?” I beg him as I feel my breathing speed up. Jasper who was still sitting in his chair looks at me and suddenly comes out of his trance, as I feel the cold sweats start. “Please Jazz you need to tell me how to fix this.”

This story is not always easy to write, just as parts are not easy to read. Edward does not know yet of course, but it is very true Isabella cannot read nor write. She has never attended school. Bella was never allowed to be a child, or experience a normal childhood, in any way, shape, or form. Bella has nothing more than a glorified slave all of her life since her birth mother passed away. We don’t want to give away more of her story than that, but feel free to keep asking your questions and we will continue to answer what we can. Edward does have a long road yet to travel, and part of that is to get him-self healed enough so that he can love someone and trust someone. Edward’s view is very tainted and with great reason, there is much more to learn about him. He will continue to improve, but he will have his moments. Keep in mind as of right now, Isabella has not lied to him, but she has withheld very important information. She doesn’t correct him on her age, because she fears his reaction.

I have written out everything, when I look at my watch seeing that it’s ten after ten. I know that being on time is something she is normally good at. I rub my face, fuck maybe she changed her mind about the job, or she just lied to me just like every other fucking woman I’ve ever known.
Or maybe you scared her, and she said yes to the job thinking that you wouldn’t let her leave the room unless she agreed.
Knock. Knock.
Thank god, she is here finally. “Come in Isabella,” I say to the closed door. The door opens, but it’s Taylor who is standing there.
I frown at him. “Hello, I see you beat me here,” he says smiling at me. I wave at him to come in, but I am still frowning. “I take it I am not who you’re waiting for?”
I shake my head. “I was expecting someone, but I don’t think she is coming.” I sigh, and throw my pen on the desk.
“Small pale girl, brown hair, looks a little lost?” I look at him, and nod my head. “I think she is standing outside,” he says motioning his thumb toward the door. I move toward the door, and Taylor stops me. “Here, take this; it’s really coming down out there.” He offers me his umbrella and chuckles as I take it and head out of the office.
I head to the front, and see Isabella standing outside in front of the window in the rain. I open the door. “Isabella,” I call to her standing in the door way, she turns and looks at me. I wave at her to come in. “How long have you been standing outside, and why didn’t you come in the restaurant when you got here?”
She walks up to me, clearly worrying I am mad by the look on her face. “I thought that…you said to meet you outside. Didn’t you, never mind, I am so sorry…sorry.”
Looking at her, I see that she’s drenched to the skin. The jacket she is wearing is paper thin, and clearly very old and well used. I know that she been outside a long time. I close my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose. “I am sorry I meant for you to come in, if I was not out here.” She walks through the door; I know that she needs to get out of her wet clothes.

I am so glad Edward and Bella talked and she told him what she did. What she has been through is so sad. I'm glad Edward kept his cool while she was telling him she can't read. We know that the more the story develops the more we all want Edward to just post haste stop going to Aro’s club. I wanted to give a clear run down on the girls that he sees there, so that we can keep things straight. Edwards’s girls at Aro’s: Sally: sex addict 27 tall she about 5ft 8 red shoulder length hair thin and tall. Likes roll play. Irina: 6ft tall slender and Blond Hair to her cheek bones like rough sex and anal sex. 29 years old. Carmen: 5ft 6 long black hair enjoys being controlled by men, average weight and size. Likes BDSM and being restrained. Maria: 5’5 180 pounds curvy and thicker than other girls. Sandy blonde hair, cute features and very large breasts. More relaxed and sensual. Edward only sees her maybe once a month, sometimes longer than that between visits. He controls her too, but it is all about sensual and erotic pleasure with her than it is about rough and controlling hard core sex. Some question if he chose Maria the last time and more often, because she reminded him of Bella. Truth be known Carmen would be the one who resembles Bella the most. He is not with Maria to pretend she is Bella, but because from Maria he gets the softer more sensual erotic side of sex. Edward had made the decision a long time ago to make himself this untouchable person, and when it came to the girls most of the time he went with the hard core domination side of the act. I can’t say that Edward’s visits to the club will cease right away, but I do assure you that soon our professor with the extremely dark view of all women will soon realize that he just can’t do it anymore. He may be smart and he may be a lot of things, but sometimes when you shut yourself off, it’s hard to wake up those pieces of yourself. I hope that this helps a little in the explanation of Edward and his tainted views. I will tell you this, I just got done with my part on a chapter where he comes clean with Bella about what he did when he spent time at the club, and telling the truth can be quite cleansing.

Chapter 9 Teaser… Subject to changes during BETA process.
“Mr. Masen, I don’t mean to be rude, but where are we going? Do you need me to work at your house today?”
I shake my head as we keep walking. “No Isabella, as you know all my employees have to have a medical check. I am accompanying you to yours.” We stop walking when we arrive at the bus stop. I look at Isabella who is looking upset.
“Mr. Masen, I didn’t bring any money with me. I can’t afford to have a medical check, I am sorry.” I look down at her and frown. There is something in her expression that tells me that it’s not just money she is worried about. I look up seeing the bus coming to a stop beside us.
We both get on, but this time I lead her to the seats at the back. I motion for her to sit and I sit next to her, leaving a little room between us. “Isabella, I set up a medical plan for each of my staff including you. Your medical is a part of that so you don’t have to worry about payment, it has already been covered.” I am not really lying, more like stretching the truth a little. “I know that you don’t like people too close to you, for that reason I am taking you to see a dear friend of mine.” I smile thinking about how to explain Carlisle. “His name is Carlisle, and he is much more than a friend to me. I guess you could say that he is like a father figure. He is a very compassionate man, and he has an amazing ability to relax people. He will not hurt you. I would never allow him, or anyone to hurt you.” I didn’t really mean for what I said at the end to come out, but as I looked into her eyes it just came out. She looked me right in the eye for much longer then she usually does. I watch her reaction and notice her bite her lip, as she nods her head.
“Will you stay with me, the whole time?” She asks, as her eyes fall to the floor.
Without meaning to, my hand moves to the underside of her chin. I feel small sparks on the tips of my fingers as I keep my fingers against her skin. These are those same comforting sparks I felt the night of my panic attack, I dismiss it. I slowly tilt her chin up, making her look at me again. “I will stay with you, if that is what you want. This is your choice Isabella. I know that I have been ordering you around a lot, but this time it is your complete choice and decision. If you wish for me to stay in the room with you, then I will. If you want me to leave, then I will. This is all about you, and what you want.”
She keeps looking at me and I could feel her shaking a little, but she never pulls her face away from my hand. “I would like you to stay in the room please, Mr. Masen.” I nod my head letting her face go.

Thank you for reading and reviewing His Cimmerian View. There have been a few questions regarding Edward and why he is so tainted by women. More of his back story is coming out, but between having a mother who was mentally ill, who subsequently abandoned him. The one girl he gave his heart to was only using him for money. One girl pretends to be his friend to gain access to his friend and for all accounts adoptive brother. And don’t forget the person he looked to as a mother figure who lied to him and hid the truth of things from him. When you put all of those things together, it is hard to trust and believe that there is honesty and truth in caring from a female. I know lots of women who think men are worms because of this or that, which happened, so it should not be so hard to understand how Edward may have this view of women. Next we have had an overabundance of questions regarding when Edward will find out Bella’s true age. That will happen, but first we need to build a little more of their friendship together. I know that many of you are not happy of his time going to Aro’s, but I assure that those times are coming to a close. It is important we felt in the story and as the story goes to show how he is dealing with his own reactions to Bella. There will not be any more explicit scenes from the club, however your knowledge of him going will not stop until he stops… AND WE PROMISE he stops going. This is a rather slow burn, but for this to be realistic, in any way, shape, or form it needs to be. With that said we will not drag it out either. You will continue to learn more about Edward and Bella, as well as a few of the other characters, but it is all going with the storyline. There are some great chapters coming up, and for all of you who still have some hate or anger for Edward, I am sure that you soon will find that hate or anger directed in another place.

Chapter 10 Teaser… Subject to changes during Beta Process.
Carlisle, Jasper, Emmett, and I, all meet up on Saturday for a workout and lunch. The topic moved to Bella, and Emmett was not happy that he was the only one that had not met her yet. I, well we, explained that she did not like close contact with people and might say things out of the norm. Of course, this all fell on deaf ears, because his only response was him promising to be on his best behavior. Now, we all love Emmett - most people do - but he is a large hulk of a man. Emmett is six foot six and must be tipping the scales at close to three hundred pounds. His biceps are the size of my thighs. He also has a quick mouth, and often says things without thinking. We tried to tell him this, but he didn’t get it. We all knew that he would end up trying to hug her, or that she would end up saying something and then he would joke about it, but either way, she would end up hurt. I just couldn’t allow that to happen, not even by one of my best friends. He pouted the rest of the time we were together, even after Jasper and Carlisle both said she could not meet him yet. I was a bit worried at the end of lunch when Emmett looked as if he was hatching an evil plan.
I look at my watch, seeing that it’s almost nine-thirty, and I know that Bella is about to walk in. I have set up the table with some of the supplies I need to help teach her, including alphabet cards. Since she can already recognize some letters, I know teaching her the alphabet should be pretty simple. I know the best thing for me to do, is to start at the beginning. This means that the alphabet song we all loved as a kid, is first. I look to the door as it opens, and see Bella walking in. She glances at me, and I can see in her eyes that she looks both excited and apprehensive. I am sure she is a bit nervous about today, so I smile at her. We already decided that we would do an hour and a half on Tuesday mornings, and an hour and a half on Thursday afternoons.
“Bella, hang up your jacket and come over to the table.” She nods her head and does what I ask. “We will begin with the alphabet. There are twenty-six letters in the English alphabet; twenty-one are consonants, and five are vowels. I will show both the capital and lower case letters. Are you ready?” She nods her head before putting her glasses on. She has them sitting at the edge of her nose, which will make her look over the top of them rather than through them. I push them back to sit on her nose correctly. “No looking over them, Bella,” I say, giving her a smile.

As soon as I saw the name of the chapter I figured their apartment was broken into. I don't blame Edward for being so upset. I am afraid someone is watching Bella or maybe someone is after Sue and they found out about the apartment so they went looking there. I wanted Edward to just move Bella and the twins into his house for good.
I am glad that Esme apologized to Edward. I am glad Bella and the twins have been invited to Thanksgiving. I hope Alice and Rose can keep their mouths shut if they don't have something nice to say. Great job...thanks so much!!!

Wow what else can Nikky or I say...once again the overwhelming response and the amount of story love we are receiving from so many people just makes us both feel so loved. I know that this story may have a few minor flaws, but we have tried all along to keep them to a minimum. So essentially thank you as always for reading and reviewing our story it makes us all giggly and excited to see all the reviews we are getting.
We asked you who you thought it might be that broke into Bella and the twins apartment, and I must say we were a little surprised that a lot of you have it figured out. With a wide range of evil or rude nasty characters, many of you said it was Uncle Harry...and you are right. There will not be resolution for a bit when it comes to Uncle Harry, so if you want to figure out what he was looking for all I can suggest is watch for clues. There are some very important and much asked for things coming soon.
We have been asked many times for Edward to stop using Aro’s girls for his pleasure. And where we understand why, we also knew it was very unrealistic for a man with so much anxiety, pressure, cynicism and tainted view to jump into a healthy relationship and give up the release and hidden pleasure he has surrounded himself in to get by for the past five plus years. He has slowly been weaning himself from the place, and very soon he will open up and tell Bella why he went there. We have been asked when you all get to know a lot more about Edward...well very soon actually, and by that I mean the next few chapters are chuck full of things from the past.
We have been asked if Renee will come back...(A LOT ACTUALLY)...Renee was Bella’s biological mother, who died when Bella was only three years old. At the age of three after her mother died, custody of Bella was given to Charlie Swan who was her biological father. Charlie was married to Sue Swan, who is the mom she talks about leaving all the time. Sue Swan is the person who left Bella to care for the twins. Since this story is not alternate universe, neither, Charlie or Renee will be making any grand entrance, unless via a dream. But don’t get too happy, because Sue Swan is still out there somewhere, and she has a few things to say.
We have been asked a lot if Alice, Rose, Siobhan, and Esme will make any redemption...Esme already has begun her turn around, and we think she is doing well. Siobhan, well she wore out her welcome quite completely at the ball, at this point there is not a real plan to drag her back into the storyline. Alice...well this is a hard one for me. I actually normally always LOVE Alice, but this Alice is a tough nut to crack. She is not going to bring in the roses and become a fan favorite anytime soon, but you will notice some changes. As for Rose, well...I just can’t wait to hear your opinions of her...and I am sure you’ll have plenty next week.
Updating...we had planned all along to only update every other week on Thursdays. However since posting the first chapter we have been on an every week posting schedule...and we have NO INTENTION of changing that at this time. Nikky and I have a comfortable cushion, and the next chapter to post is with the beta now. I got this weeks chapter back from the beta on Tuesday afternoon, so realistically we are posting around when they are ready. Nikky is working on her part of chapter 26 right now, and I am working on 24 so we are not looking at any lapses in time. We are both so excited you are choosing to come down this road with us.

Chapter 16 Teaser...subjected to changes during the BETA process...
Its Thanksgiving today, and I am on my way to pick up Bella and the kids. Bella and I decided that, after dinner with my family, they would all stay the night at my house tonight. I will run them home to get their things for the camping trip in the morning, and see them off to camp. Bella will make sure that Jake has enough food, and then she is coming to spend the weekend with me. I’m looking forward to this weekend, but I am worried about my growing feelings for her. I knock on the door before using my key to get in. Bella gave me a spare key so I could let myself in. The new door has a double lock on it, and is reinforced with steel; no one is breaking this one down.
I walk in, seeing Leah in a black, knee-length dress with a cream ribbon around the waist, and black shoes. Seth is wearing a pair of black pants and a cream colored button down shirt, with a black tie and shoes.
“Wow, look at you Leah! You’re very beautiful, and Seth, you look so handsome.” They both smile at me and look up as Bella walks in. She is in a cream colored dress, with a black ribbon around the waist. The dress goes to just above her knees; she looks fucking beautiful in it - so fucking beautiful.
“Wow, Bella! You look sensational...really beautiful. Are we all ready to go?” I look her up and down, I am so glad she allowed me to buy us all new outfits for today.
I got around her apprehension by telling her that I wanted to go to church with them this Sunday night. We are attending the evening service after Seth and Leah return from camp. Since I was buying something for myself, I wanted to get them something, as well. As usual, getting Bella to let me buy Seth and Leah something, was easy, but her...not so much. I was so fucking glad Seth and Leah helped me. I have on black pants and black shirt with a cream colored tie. I push my fucking guilty feelings down and smile at the three of them.
“Yes, we’re all ready.” Bella picks up their bags, and I quickly take them from her.
“Let’s go,” I say as I usher us all out the door together.

Wow...it is so sad that Edward never got to see him. Tanya was an evil person to put him through all that. She didn't deserve to have a baby.
Rosalie(I would not be her friend, so I won't refer to her as Rose)is just as cruel. She thinks she is so much better then Bella. She has no idea what Bella has done with her life. We don't know everything yet. Bella is an amazing person. Bella and Edward both deserve to find this happiness they have together. I love watching their relationship grow. I can't wait for more. We both wondered how many of you would ask if Edward’s son was really dead or not, and if Tanya was dead or not. We want to be clear that Tanya Denali and the child she gave birth to are in fact deceased; they died in the fire.
We want to point out that Edward is not a Dom. He role-played and dabbled with the girls at the club, because it was his way of maintaining full control. He has no desire to tie Bella up and spank her, he is not looking at her as his next submissive or slave. Just want to be perfectly clear, he is not into the BDSM lifestyle, he is just a man who was seating his needs at a club the only way he saw fit to do so and protect his heart and soul.

Chapter 17 teaser...subject to changes during Beta process.
Right now, we’re back at Bella’s apartment getting Seth and Leah’s stuff ready for their trip.
“Okay, Seth, you have everything from your list in your bag, right?” I watch as he nods his head, and chuckle to myself since Bella had just checked over the list and the bag with him herself. “Leah, do you have everything from your list in your bag, too?”
“Yes, Bella. Edward and I just went through the list twice.” I turn my head to hide my chuckle.
“Okay. Well, we have to be at the church in forty minutes, and since Edward is taking us, we have time to double check.”
“Baby, Leah and Seth have everything they need. How about you go pack your bag now, and feed Jake? I will help Leah and Seth take their backpacks down to the car.”
“Okay, I will hurry,” she says, leaving to go to her box.
I can tell that Bella is trying to put on a strong front for them, but I know this is killing her to let them go on this trip. It will be good for them, though, and good for her, too. I have planned out this weekend so that she gets a chance to be a twenty-four year old for a change. After we have everything packed and ready, we head out.
I drive them to the church, seeing a bus and a bunch of children. I also see Sally there, and I frown as I pull into a parking space. “Sally works in the Sunday school. She’s the main reason they are going. She is taking her cell with her, and said that I could call her anytime. She is also going to have them call me before bed, and when they get up in the morning. You can stay here if you want. You don’t need to come with me. I won’t tell her who you are.” I turn to look at her, and smirk because she answered my internal question.
I shake my head. “No, I am fine, Baby. Thank you.”
The night of the break in, I explained to Bella that I went by a different name at Aro’s, and the girls I was with, had never seen my face because they were blindfolded. I was very glad that she just nodded her head, and didn’t ask any other questions. I hate the fact that I’ve been with them. I don’t want my sins to show in her eyes when I look at her each time I remember that she saw me there. When the time comes, and she finds out what I did and what happens there with me and the girls, I hope and pray to God that I don’t lose her friendship.
We get out of the car and start walking over. As we do, Sally waves, making her way over to us. Her eyes hit me for only a few seconds before she looks back at Bella.

OMG...I knew something bad for going to happen to her. I am stuck on the fact he keeps saying she is wet...too wet. This is not going to be good. I wish she would have called Edward when the snow hit. I know one of the other guys would have gone to get her. Everything had been going to so great. I was surprised that Bella doesn't know they truth about Santa. What makes me so mad/sad is she thought she must have been bad since he never came when she was young. Charlie must have been a terrible man and then to end up with someone like sure was just terrible. I can't believe they treated her like they did. I can't wait for more! Please let Bella be okay. In the author’s note I asked all of you to tell me what your favorite line from the story so far. Here is Nikky’s from chapter 19 – "Have a good night, and keep Little Edna in your pants. And I do mean your pants. Close the door behind you when you're able to shut your mouth and leave." I stand there for a minute with my mouth hanging open, before shaking my head and leaving. My favorite quote so far is from Chapter 20 – "I will use the adult terms, and try to stick to the given terms of penis or vagina, but please, for my sanity, can we not call my cock a winkie?"
Many of you are wondering who is behind Bella being hurt. Bella actually fell, but it was what took place at the college before she left that caused her the issues to be as sick as she is right now. In the next chapter that person and their actions will be handled, and handled quite well. Some have worried that we may have Bella been brutalized or raped and we want to be clear that we would not ever do that in this story. We both agree with you that Bella has been brutalized and hurt enough from her so called loved ones to cause her anymore brutalization. There was an attack against her at the college before she left, and as I said that will be handled quite well.

Chapter 21 teaser…subject to changes during beta process…
I make it back to my car quickly. I open her door sitting her in her seat and strap her in as best I can. “Baby, you’re in my car, I’m going to get you to Carlisle.” I kiss her head, close her door, and run around to my side. I get in and start driving without waiting to put on my seat belt. I switch the heat on high. “Baby, I got the heating on for you. We’ll be there soon.” Please God let us get there soon! I fiddle with my cell getting the hands free turned on, so I can call Carlisle.
“Hello Edward,” I hear Carlisle’s cheerful voice come across the hands free.
“Can you get to the Hospital, right away? Its Bella, she is hurt. I found her in the park unconscious. She has a head wound, and she’s been lying in the fucking snow for about an hour.” I try to calm my voice, the last thing I need to do is break down.
“Edward, I’m on way back to the hospital now. I just left a few minutes ago. I should get there before you do. I will let you go. The last thing we need is for you to crash. I’ll be outside with a team ready for you when you get there. Drive safely, son.” Carlisle disconnects the call, not waiting for me to reply.
“Baby, we’re almost there. Come on Baby, wake up for me.” I stroke her face, while driving around the fucking cars that are in front of me. These people are idiots, they are driving like old people fuck, slow and sloppy. I commit many driving penalties, yet I am driving better than anyone else out here. I’m sure I’ve been caught on nearly all the speed cameras that are up. I sigh out in relief as I come up to the hospital. I pull up in front of the emergency doors and I see Carlisle already there. I pull to a stop and he waves to the door and opens Bella’s door with his other hand. He picks her up turns and places her on a gurney. I jump out and catch up to him.
“Hey you can’t park there,” I hear.
Turning around I see the security officer glaring at me, and I throw him my keys. “Then you move it,” I say.
He catches my keys, and looks at me. “I am not here to be your valet.”
I turn back and glare at him. “Then call and have it fucking towed, I don’t give a shit. My girl is… fuck!”
I feel Carlisle pull on my arm. “Mitch please can you park the car for my son, she is in critical condition.” Mitch looks at Carlisle then to me and his face pales, but he nods his head. I feel the air leave my body, she’s in critical condition! “Edward I need you to calm down and come with me.” Carlisle pulls me along with him and I head to the trauma room. I see them removing her clothes. “Edward, do you know why her clothes soaking wet? Even under her coat is wet. There is no way this all occurred from her lying in the snow.” I shake my head at him, because I don’t know. I stand back and watch them work on her.

There are some seriously some great chapters coming up, but Nikky says I need to warn you all that some of them are rather drama and angst filled. There also may or may not be a few cliffhangers in the near future, oh heck who am I kidding the next two chapters are rather cliffy in nature. The next chapter has a big surprise within and MOST of you may be very shocked. Nikky, Jess, and a few others who have already read the chapter during BETA processing seem to think that the next chapter may generate a lot more reviews. We may even get some from people who have not reviewed before now, because it is quite a twist. There is your warning. Nikky and I have been called diabolical for the plot twist that is coming, so we sure hope you all like it. I will say this out of all the readers and reviewers we have, only one time has someone guessed a good portion of the plot and got it right. We of course didn’t tell them, because well then they would know it would ruin the story telling process. We had a few question about Sienna’s ability to place a phone call since she is deaf. Deaf people can make phone calls using a Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD). Special telephone services have been developed to carry the TDD functionality even further. In certain countries there are systems in place so that a deaf person can communicate with a hearing person on an ordinary voice phone using a human relay operator. “Pajama day is when you stay in your pajamas all day and eat lots of bad stuff, watch movies, and play games all day long.” Seth and Leah nod their heads at me and Bella gives me a small half nod with her smile. “Okay then, pajama day it is in our house. I just need to make a few phone calls. Why don’t you all get your robes and slippers on, and I’ll meet you for breakfast as soon as I am done.” Seth and Leah hug me before walking out of the bathroom to get their slippers and robes.
After they leave the room, I look to see Bella biting her lip, and I know she’s worrying about something. “I’m sorry that she wet the bed. She’s never done that before.”
I walk to Bella, wrapping my arms around her. “Baby, its okay. She’s upset, and her body is reacting to that, so don’t worry about it.” I kiss her head and push her hair out of her face. I hiss as I see the large bruises that go all the way up one side of her face. “Baby, how are you feeling? Are you in pain?”
She shrugs her shoulders and tries to give me a smile. “I’m not sure. I...” She stops and rubs her head. “I feel like I failed them. He hurt Seth, and I should’ve been able to protect him better. I’m upset that it was Uncle Harry that broke into our apartment the other time. I don’t understand why he did that, or what he was looking for. How could he do that to Seth and Leah? I mean, I know that he doesn’t really like me much, but they’re his sister’s children. I thought he would love them.”

Wow...so much happened and I don't know where to start. I love Bella's Valentine's present to Edward. They are so good for each other. I am worried about James being gone. He will show up at some point I am sure.
Poor Seth went through a lot. First he had to deal with the crappy band teacher and then he was hurt. I am glad the kids and Bella got away from harry. I really thought Bella was going to be hurt far worse then she was. I am glad she did what she did so she could get away.

They are going to have a baby....I love it! They are going to be so happy once the step monster is gone. They have got to find her quick!!!! Hello, thanks again for reading and reviewing this story. Nikky and I put a lot of work into these chapters; as well do a large group of ladies who have become not only our sounding boards, but trusted members of our team. I was shocked that the backlash on the pregnancy was not larger than it was. I was very skeptical about making Bella pregnant and ironically Jess2002 (WHO HATES IT THAT EVERY STORY BELLA GETS KNOCKED UP) said it had to be done now, because (knowing our future plot line) it was the perfect fit. So if you are one of the (so far) two negative reviews about the pregnancy we’ve gotten, please know that your reaction was shared at first. After we thought it over it was easy to see that it however enhanced the love story between Edward and Bella. The gender of the baby is picked, as well as the babies name. The story is quickly approaching finalization, and with it I feel a sense of loss.
There haven’t been many questions, but there have been several comments about things that are complete misunderstandings. So I figured I would list some of the ones I remember off the top of my head.
Edward wants to marry Bella, but he hasn’t yet proposed.
Edward has been looking for a ring, and trying to his best ability to find out where his mother’s jewelry is.
Edward is very rich, and doesn’t have to work, but like most people who are rich a great portion of his funds is wrapped up in investments, so not always does he have access to super large amounts of money.
Edward’s father was quite a pianist and left Edward a rather large inheritance, as well as before his mother left she made sure to leave him money in a trust.
Elizabeth knew she was ill and left thinking Edward would be better raised by Esme and Carlisle.
Alice is not a blood relative of the Cullen’s, or Masen’s.
Jasper and Rosalie’s parents died and in the will they left guardianship of them to Carlisle and Esme.
Sue and Harry’s parents are dead, harry murdered them.
Bella’s biological parents are dead.
Rose was always allowed to act out and as if she was better than everyone else.
The next chapter is one you won’t want to miss for sure. Before you sit down to read it, you may want to get a cold drink (not promoting booze, but I needed some writing parts of it), a few tissues, and be sure to tell yourself at least four or five times before you start reading – “Kasi and Nikky are happily ever after writers...”

Chapter 30 Teaser, subject to changes during BETA process.
Seth and Leah have taken to home schooling well; both are extremely bright children. Lucy resigned from her temporary position at the school, and is now helping us teach them at home. Between the five of us: Lucy, Esme, Zafrina, Bella, and myself, the twins are receiving an excellent education. They’ve both been a little more edgy lately, and upset about what happened with Sue. It’s been causing both of them to have more nightmares than usual. Samantha’s advice was simple: just keep helping them feel safe and secure in their home. We’ve talked about it several times, and I think they now understand that the school did something wrong. I also know that they believe we will keep them safe.
Mrs. Crown has been fired over her behavior, as were four other staff members. This led to the papers getting ahold of the full story of what happened at the school. When the story first came out, all that had been said was that there had been an attempted abduction. Since then, though, someone had talked – my guess would be Mrs. Crown – and it’s been all over the local news and in the papers.
Thankfully, Seth and Leah’s names have been kept out, but reporters did manage to get some of the story behind Sue, Charlie, and Harry. They were also able to gather some information on Bella, like the fact that she raised her siblings from birth, but they did not focus on this. They focused, instead, on how Bella had to have known that her Uncle and parents were hurting and killing people, and hid it instead of going to the authorities.
They talked about how when she worked, she left the children unattended and neglected. That one line hurt Bella the most, and I had a hard time trying to calm her down. Of course, it also upset Seth and Leah. To say I was ranting and raving over the phone lines to just about anyone who would listen, was an understatement. I had to take several deep breaths and remind myself that I supposed to help reduce the stress, not add to it.

I am so glad they are married now. All the speeches were awesome! I love that his Mom has been watching him all this time. As things are winding to a close Nikky and I wanted to take this opportunity to say that we are very grateful for all of your reviews and the time you put into reading our story. Our next plans are to work on the several POV’s that you have all asked for. The Jane POV will for certain be the next POV chapter we post.
As for the next story we plan to write, well Nikky has this uncanny ability to get a tiny idea and go freaking CRAZY with it and so now she has already hammered out a decent start on a new story... AND what a story it will be... How about a story of a virginella who loves to dance, and an olderward who lives in the BDSM lifestyle – we know been done before right? Yeah well knowing us... do you really think it won’t have a few twists? Besides as wonderful as we write bad guys, you know you can’t wait to see what kind of crazy this will bring on. This BDSM story will of course have SEX in it, but it will not be all about sex, nor will the next chapter of HCV.
A couple people have mentioned that they hope the whole next chapter is not just full of a bunch of sex acts, and honestly HCV has never been about a bunch of sex acts. Yes there have been some explicit scenes in the story, especially regarding Edward when he was attending the club, but this story has never needed sex to be readable... and our next story will be the same way. We also have a stalker story on the burner, and the BDSM may turn into a really big drabble or one-shot. Either way you’ll be seeing MUCH more from Nikky and me.
I am also writing a story with Jess that will start posting fairly soon under the name JessAndTAT that will be called Bases Loaded.
I don’t think that there are any loose ends yet to tie up, other than Rose, and you will learn more about her in the Epilogue. If there is something else you want to know let us know right away and we will get it answered and or addressed in the Epilogue.

Teaser for Chapter 34: Subject to changes during Beta process.
I look at Bella who is sound asleep, in bed. I smile pushing her hair from her face. I rented us a villa and we haven’t left the bedroom for longer than half hour all weekend. I know that things will change today. She still has no clue about where we are. I chuckle remembering the car ride here and how she looked around trying to work it out. All she knows is that we are still in America.
My phone beeps I pick it up and read the text, seeing that my first surprise will be here in just over an hour. I get out of bed head to the kitchen to make Bella breakfast in bed. I play music as I fry her eggs and bacon, being really careful of my delicate parts, since I’m not exactly dressed. Ha, the naked chef has nothing on me. Once breakfast is ready I head back with a try and place it on the bedside table.

I chuckle shaking my head at her, but stop to kiss her before speaking. “As much as I would love to take you again baby, over and over – I can’t right now. I have a surprise for you and you need to eat your breakfast and get washed before it arrives. Because once it’s here I’ll be taking you out for the day and you will finally know where exactly we are at.”
She opens her eyes wide and smiles at me. “You got me a surprise?”

This has been a fantastic journey and we are sad yet excited that we finally clicked completed. Keep in mind to watch out for Enduring His Cimmerian View to update, there are a few of those yet to write and post. There is not a real posting schedule for those, but they will be written.
Nikky and I are writing a couple more stories at least together and we hope to see you checking them out too. We have a stalker story coming soon, as well as a BDSM/Olderward story coming out. We also have a pretty large one-shot that will post soon, that we wrote for the Forbidden Fruit contest. We can’t tell you the name of it yet, but there are a TON of great stories entered in the contest.
