After Renee and Phil die in a car accident on Bella’s 17th birthday. She is sent to live with her father, Charlie and brother, James in Forks WA after being separated for 10 years with no contact. Charlie dabbles in training and placement of the “perfect” wife for exclusive clientele. Bella quickly learns that she’s going that she’s going to get more than a high school education. one question for you, about an aspect of the characterisation i am not getting. emmet and jasper are older than edward, and run their own businesses. soon edward will be a fully trained doctor, likewise independent.
why are they (e. and j.) not already gone, making new lives away from the foulness known as carlisle?? or all 3 actively planning same? and linked to this, why did jasper and emmett not continue in their new style in front of the visitors??

why do edward, emmett and jasper still do it?? live under carisle's influence?? why don't they leave...pretty much never to return??
why would edward in particular, want to live anywhere near him?? they could also take esme with them??
Author's Response:
Carlisle still controls his family thru financial means. He owns the land their homes sit on and he financed their businesses and paid for Edward's education. Carlisle also adopted Bella so legally Edward couldn't run with her until the adoption was voided. It would be legally be considered incest. With Carlisle financing Jasper & Emmett's businesses he could demand full payment of the loans destroying them financially.
Bella is 17 and tired of being the 'good girl'. Senior year calls for change. She finds it in the arms of 25 yr old Edward. Consequences for her choices cause a ripple effect that even she could never have been prepared for.

Set during Eclipse when Edward and Bella are back together adn trying to work out their relationship. Jacob is not happy that Bella is back with Edward after everything that happened when he left her before.
Bella and Edward continue to grow in their relationship regardless of the trouble that a very angry and very jealous Jacob tries to cause. That is until Jacob finally snaps and does something that will change his, and the rest of the characters lives, forever.
The story contains lots of Cullen fun, romance, drama, violence, angst and a few lemons thrown in for good measure.
