Okay I thought this story would end several chapters ago. Twice they broke up. I don't think she trusts him not to break again.
The REASON BELLA bolted and started the last breakup is Carlie is not HER daughter and SHe could not stop Jessica. Edward was in control of that. She loved them both and she felt if she stayed both of the people she loved would be hurt. PLUS Jessica said if Bella left she would stop. Bella had just went through the thing at school because of Jessica trying to take Carlie. She did not want any bad publicity about her sexual life as she teaches young children. THE fact Edward did not try and change her mind (as I think she wanted him to) played into her leaving. NOTE she did not leave for a while. He had time to change that. Bellas was not a strong person in that she submitted to him in every way. I also think she will not go down the BDSM trail again as she got blamed for his mess. Lets face this if he had talked to her and written her and let his family she would have come back easier. Carley had been able to write her and call her even though there was a distance it would have eased things. So I am like Bella if she had not had the accident he would not have come to her!. Damn that says volumes. Guilt, pity and lonliness are not reasons to start over. She gave up on living it was too hard and if she starved to death the pain would end. Engaged again. I think that would be a bandaid without fixing what is wrong. Bella is a house guest to placate his daughter without a mother. Yes they love each other but so do a lot of nannies and house keepers in charge of someone else's children. Sorry does not fix this.

Oh well I am more concerned over Bella and Edward not getting along. He needs to realise she is the ROCK of His family. In fact Esme would be so proud of Bella.

With my parents off to bed, I scooted closer to Edward on the couch and rested my head on his shoulder. He draped his arm around me and slowly rubbed his hand up and down my arm.
"You're tired," he said.
"Mmmhmm, how can you tell?"
"Mmm, how about the fact that you can hardly keep your eyes open?"
I giggled softly and mumbled, "You noticed that huh?"
"Yep. Come on, Sweetness. It's time to get some sleep." He stood and held his hand out to me to help me up from the couch.
"But I don't wanna get up," I whined from where I had let myself flop over on the couch once he had stood up.
"Ok, hop on and I'll carry ya up," he said, turning his back to me.
I grabbed onto the back pocket of his jeans and pulled myself back up into a sitting position and then stood on the couch so that I could climb onto his back. He held my right leg in place when I hitched it on his hip and held on to his shoulders to bring my left leg up onto his other hip. No sooner than I was in place, he bent over to pick up the TV remote to turn off the screen, leaving me thinking he was going to drop me and squealing like a baby pig.
"You better be quiet or your dad is going to be out here with his gun thinking I am doing inappropriate things to you," Edward chastised me playfully as he stood up straight, tightening his hold on my legs and heading for the stairs.
As Edward carried me up the stairs, I burrowed my head against his neck while resting it on his shoulder. I tried to inhale as deeply as I could and savor his natural scent without being obvious. The real thing smelt even better than his sheets had yesterday and I found myself torn between fighting the urge to kiss his neck and wanting to cling to him as I fell asleep.
Reaching my room much faster than I would have liked, Edward was laughing as he dumped me on my back onto my bed. He obviously thought the way he choose to put me down was funny.
"That was mean." I pouted and swatted him on the arm.
"Oh poor baby," he teased. Crawling up on the bed beside me, he grabbed both my arms and hiked his leg over me so he was straddling me. While pinning me to the bed, he let his head drop onto my shoulder and remained there, hovering over me without saying a word.
He met the girl of his dreams. She met the man of her nightmares. How far would you go for your obsession? AH/AU/OOC

What a journey Bella has made. She is correct she must forgive Edward so she can move forward with Matt. Edward is sick. His sickness was neglected by his parents and actually made worse. You can not think of Edward the way he is without thinking about Carlisle and how he mismanaged his life.

I know this had to be hard to write. At times it was hard to read. I cried, often. The biggest villian in this was Carlisle Cullen. Edward was a troubled child. As parents we have to be watchful. Love sometimes has to say no. Edward needed that love when he was younger. Watchful parents that changed up his friends. removed him from situations where he was too young to handle. Too permissive, too much money, etc.
Too much too soon. Too bad!
Helping Bella was not bad, controlling was terrible.
I do not see an alternative ending for this. It is just not ment to be.

I agree about Bella in NM she needed to perhaps save him. Then she should have distanced herself from him so she could determine IF he was Worthy of her.
Isabella has now got to mature in her sexuality. She may not want sex BEFORE marraige. Nothing wrong with that. She has to be able to address that.

I can see waiting for love and then being sure about that, passed that I think you have drug that part out.Waiting is good for teenagers especially since they change bf and gf so often. I think waiting is good because then you have a relationship based on something stronger than attraction.
