In looking at some of the reviews that included comments about how Edward forgave Bella too easily, I can't help but shake my head. I thought love was supposed to be about forgiveness rather than retribution. Certainly, Edward was hurt but I don't believe trying to make Bella feel worse than she already did would have made Edward feel better. Maybe if we were more concerned with love and forgiveness then this would translate to healthier relationships in real life.

Thank you! I agree with you. I believe in forgiveness and don't think it's necessary to dig, berate, yell, fight and rehash a mistake that is easily forgiven. That's why I didn't drag it out. Thanks for seeing through all that, and thanks for reading the reviews.
