I've been looking on the internet to get some ideas and I came across the name Ashley, which was used by the Puritans in the 17th Century. You could you this for either a girl or a boy.

There's Leopald which was given to a royal or an aristoract in Britain.

Amanda was brought into the 17th century by playwriters and poets.

Aurelia was also a given name to girls in the 17th century.

You also have Charlotte, Jane, Ruth, Sophia, Venetina, George, Thomas, Christopher, Richard, Anne, Katheriene, Michael & John, so erm yeah take your pick really.

By the way, I really did look up these names to make sure they were used in the 17th century.

Hope this helps :)
