Edward was standing at the sink brushing his teeth, the muscles in his shoulder flexing as his arm moved. I reached out to run my fingers down the length of his spine before wrapping my hand around his waist and laying my head between his shoulder blades.
“I’m trying Edward, please don’t be mad at me” I could hear the air leave his lungs.
“Bella, I’m not mad at you. I am furious with a world that would allow so much hurt into your life. I want to take it all away, right now- today. I can’t and that makes me feel inadequate. But I know it’s going to take time and a lot of reassurance and baby…” He stopped abruptly.
“What?” I wanted him to finish his thought. But instead he turned around to face me.
“Nothing…” I knew there was something but I had no clue what it was. “…I told you last night I would give you all the time you needed, and I’m not going to push you, so…nothing. When you’re ready to let go of the shame you carry, you’ll tell me.”

“It’s just the food” I told him as he followed me to the door barking the whole time “Seth!” I admonished while shutting down the alarm and opening the door to a very stunned Irena.
“Since when do you have a dog Edward?”
I didn’t respond to her question instead sighing heavily “What can I do for you Irena?”
“You can invite me in” She said as if it should be obvious.
Hesitantly I moved to the side to allow her entrance locking the door but leaving the alarm off, I wasn’t taking any chances. She stood in my living room watching Seth as he sat by my feet.
“I never thought you to be a dog lover” The sweetness in her voice confused me because the last time we spoke it was anything but friendly. That was the day she and Caius attacked Bella for which I found their actions deplorable.
“Cut the crap Irena why are you here?” My tone was rude but she deserved it and I didn’t trust her.
Bella is given to Edward as a birthday present. He promises her that he will love her and never hurt her. Will he be able to keep his promise or will a dark secret tear them apart before their relationship can develop?

Bella just wanted to get out of LA and get everything over and done with. Like i said before, I have no idea how the law thingy works so I kind of made it up as I was going along.
Next up, they are home! The next chapter might be a few days. I'm revising the outline and trying to figure out how many more chapters are left. the story is almost over, but I don't know how many chapters are left.

Your main characters use the phrases man and bro quite often, you may think about using them less because they really don't add to the dialogue, it almost reduces it to sounding like 2 teenaged boys talking. I like the way the story is coming along besides that.
Summary: After hearing her son’s birthday wish, Bella decides to contact her ex-boss whom she had a short affair with before quitting, to let him know that he has a son. Edward loved Bella since the first moment he saw her, despite her young age and position he sought her out on many occasions, to merely be rejected in turn. Now that she has returned he hopes they can make things work and finally be together.

For the most part I have been enjoying this story! I know that you have already written it, but as someone who has gone to Disneyland well over 100 times, I would just say if you are going to describe such a well known place, try and get it accurate. The Californian hotel opens up to the park, taxis can't go to the front gates, Disney does not do wrist bands, there are no rides with fast passes in Fantasy Land, and Ariels ride is in California Adventure, not Dland. Still enjoying the story! I just had to let you know about those pet peeves lol ;)
