Thanks Camilla!  I wrote that little outtake on vacation while I was listening to a lot of Regina Spektor, and I think she's somehow infused into the story line.  At this point in the story I think E&B are at a new place of understanding, and it's fun and beautiful to write about.

HI! okay to clarify up to now, she thought the bronzed hair master was going to but he informed herr that the cullens and denaslis not drink from humans. so far in the story the only one who drank from her was her first master after he took her back from the hospital. as for the explanation to what happen when he first saw her its in chapter 7, he discusses it in a heart to heart with someone. so you get a lot of emotion explaination there. i dont want to say too much but i hope you like and please feel free to ask me anything if i can tell you i will. i know i've been keeping his feelings a little unknown but in chapter 7 its all about feeling. thanks michel

I actually love this chapter because Edward is so eloquent, and so loves his Bella.  He is a religious person, which is sad because he considers himself lost to God.  As you know, things progress through this series to the point when even Edward, who is quite stubborn in his belief, has to acknowledge that God still loves him, no matter what he is or what he has done.

Hi, I saw you reviewed several chapters but I'm going to reply to all of them at once. Hope you don't mind, lol. First things first: welcome to the story and thank you for reading it in the first place. I am glad you like my idea. I honestly don't know where it came from. Just popped into my mind one day. As for the lemons, no, this is not going to be a story full of smut with no storyline. It's going to have  a plot with a few juicy parts here and there. The lemon I wrote for this story is my first ever and I am not yet comfortable enough with lemons. So you don't need to worry about that part. :) As for the hiatus... I am sorry in advance. It's just that I have so many ideas for this story that my options are incredibly tangled and I need some time to sort them out and decide where I'm going to go with this. Also, I am currently near the finish line of my other multichapter story and most of the inspiration I get is involved with it. And last but most definitely not least, I am in my senior year of high-school and I have finals in 2 weeks - bloody difficult finals, then I have my country's version of an SAT test in about 2 months so I'm pretty busy studying. 

By the way, I love your country :) I always wanted to go there... I hope to visit one day.

I think Cedric is easily seduced because he cares about people.  And I have always thought Cho Chang was a little manipulative. She only joins the DA with a friend, to be near Harry who was close to Cedric, and then when that friend betrays the group she whines to Hermione about the punishment. She is my least favorite character in the books. Doesn't excuse what Cedric does, but perhaps it explains it: Cho is manipulative and he is too nice sometimes (and besides, he is still a teenaged boy being offered sex, hard to refuse, that).

The Room of Requirement (also known as the Come-and-Go Room by the house elves) is JK's creation and factors heavily into the storyline of HP5-HP7.  It's how the DeathEaters make it into Hogwarts, for example, in HP6 with the help of Draco and the two Vanishing Cabinets.

The RoR factors into a lot of HP fanfic because it is romance/porno deux et machina of epic proportions. I have read about nearly every possible sex scenario happening there in HP-FF... including one very clever story about Harry and Dumbledore and a stolen Time-Turner.

However, everyone experiences the room differently. And so, for two teenage boys in love who need some privacy, the room reads their minds and give them what they need. Which includes books to show them they aren't alone, supplies for later on. And a sofa and a bed and a shower. Probably an X-Box in there somewhere too.

I wrote it before BD came out so I was very anxious when I knew part of Edward's back story would be told. I wondered if they saw what I saw. Thank you for reading, despite the warnings. My beta made sure I put out the warnings like neon lights.

You make a very good point about Carlisle and Esme, especially Carlisle. I don't think it was happily but I do think you are right and it was probably more excruciating than I portrayed. Perhaps if I had written from Carlisle's POV and really spent time in his head it would have been more clear to me. When I get in Edward's head I tend to have blinders.

I don't particularly like FFn, I prefer Twilighted or this site.  FFn keeps messing up my formating, and I have to use periods to hold blank lines.  Also, I much prefer being able to see my responses to reviews like this so I can make sure I didn't miss anyone.  This chapter is identical to the one on FFn.  I only put that note up because I think the formating really makes a difference to show how Bella's mind was running wild, random bits of different things she'd read running through her mind mixed with what Edward had written.  The only things I had entended to edit on FFn are the eventual sex scenes.  I don't think they're over the line, but I'm so afraid of just one person complaining and having it pulled without warning.  Pulling the story wouldn't be such a terrible thing since it's posted other places, it all my reviews I don't want to lose.

I'm afraid Edward lost more than just his human life, he lost everything connected to it.  His family, his friends, everyone and everything, including Bella.  That's why I went into detail on his daily life and the people he loved, because I wanted the reader to see and feel everything Edward lost.  All he knows of his human life is what he's seen in Carlisle's mind, and a good portion of that is bad.  The only two memories he has of his father are the 4th of July picnic and his death.  And remember at the 4th of July picnic?  His father's and friend's reactions to Carlisle?  He understands now that their reaction was because Carlisle was a vampire, just like he now is, too.  He knows how his mother suffered after his father's death, and he has seen himself wasting away with first grief over his father and worry for his mother and then through exhaustion with the epidemic.  He understands now Carilisle's desire to keep both him and his mother safe from the epidemic, urging them to stay away from the hospital.  And he has seen Carlisle's memories of that last night in the hospital with little Charlie on his lap and knows that was likely when he was infected himself.  It could also have been when he fell asleep with Charlie and Kitty while they were staying at his house, but he has no knowledge that that ever happened because Carlisle didn't witness it.  But one way or the other, he caught the flu from Charlie.  He knows he loved the little boy enough to risk such close and prolonged contact with him rather than leave him alone, but he has not one other memory of him because that was the only time Carlisle ever saw him.  He has the memory of Carlisle's that Edward told him he taught the little boy to throw a ball at a picnic, but aside from knowing it happened, he has no actual memory of it.  Edward is always described as sullen and broody, but can you blame him?

Just wait and see!

It'll all work out, I promise.  Bella needs this time to mourn the Edward she fell in love with.  After everything he's been through, he's not the same man he was then.  They're not ready to meet yet, but they will be soon.

It didn't go "badly," as in Edward pounced on Bella, but it didn't go "well," in that Bella pounced on Edward.  Check out the teaser Monday, you'll see what I mean.

Yes, Edward has red her letters to him.  That was how he knew about the poem she sent him after his father died.  But he's never been in her room, other than when he helped carry their desk in, so he's never seen his letters to her.

I don't know how much real danger Edward is in, but Bella can't see it that way, especially after already being helpless to help him and lost him once before.  Victoria could have no idea he's alone. Even if she did find him, he'd have a three mile head start when he heard their thoughts, and he's very fast.  In this scenario, Laurent never looked back after meeting Irina, so Victoria has had no heads up on the Cullens special abilities. Of course, since Bella and Edward haven't talked yet, she doesn't know about his mindreading either.

Yes, Edward had his rebel years.  Just one more piece of baggage weighing him down and one more reason why Bella learning the truth is so devastating to him.  Bella doesn't know about that yet, of course.  It will be part of their big discussion, which is coming up very soon.

I knew people would be disappointed that this chapter didn’t pick up where the last one left off, but writing love scenes is really, really weird.  I kind of eased my way into it, so they will go further the farther into the story we get. 

Yes, Charlie and Tanya would have thought about it, I'm sure.  I don't work it into the fic at all, though.  At least other than in the very begining when Tanya is thinking about the barriers preventing her from being able to change him and very, very briefly when Charlie thinks about what his relationship with Tanya might cost him just before he admits to her and Billy that he knows what she is.  I don't go at all into their relationship.  I wanted to keep the focus really on Bella and Edward.

I think the mutual feelings between the pack and the Cullens goes way beyond what we would, or at least I would, think of as prejudice.  They are natural, mortal enemies whose instinct is to kill the other.  Yes, the pack's hatred of the Cullens is firmly in place, but as Edward explained to Bella in the last chapter, the pack's feelings toward vampires are based on their tribe nearly being wiped out by vampires.  That's an awfully big hurdle to overcome, even if the pack knows the Cullens are different from those, especially when neither side has any particular reason to set their hatred of the other aside.  What they need is a commonality to give them that reason.  In canon, first Bella, then to a much larger extent Reneesme filled that role.  But while in my fic Bella and Jake were friends, and yes he wanted more, they were never as close as in canon, and there will be no Reneesme.  So, who can fill that role here....

You're very right, it doesn't make her look good at all, does it?  But we're not always at our best, especially when we're scared.  I think it's important to recognize that Bella herself realizes it was a terrible thing to do.  But she's honest enough to admit that even though she's ashamed of what she did, she'd do it again if she needed to.  I can't stress enough how much of an impact believing she'd lost Edward to the flu had on her.  She's got him back, and there is absolutely nothing she wouldn't do to protect him.

Yes, I'll post the new chapter over at FFN after all of the fuss dies down. The people causing thie turmoil admitted that they watch the updates for new targets, so I'm just lying low for a while until things go back to normal.

In my version of vampires, one can only become a vampire by drinking the blood of a vampire. T have a Q & A set up on my blog that gives more details.

As for Edward's blood loss, he should be perfectly fine. Bella doesn't need very much at her age and as long as Edward remained hydrated and well-fed, his body should replace the loss very quickly. An iron deficiency is possible, so he should probably take supplments to be on the safe side. During WWII, some troops donated weekly. In the modern days, many states have laws about how often a person can donate. (And Bella takes less than the Red Cross does!)

It is not All Human, hence the not marking. I will be adding some chapters today and tomorrow that make it clear all is not completely right (or human,) with the Cullen family. Though they are slightly different from Twi-vamps, they are some amalgam of many of my favorite vampire lore[including those in the work of She Who Shall Not Be Fanfictioned (hint: New Orleans.)] I just wanted to tell you in case you are expecting any diamond faceted skin. They could get away with that in Forks but in New York City- not so much.

The title is just kind of how Bella viewed them at the start of things, a pun on their sex in the office, but you are right as it progresses it doesn't fit as well. I am never very set on my titles because I often just come up with something so I can get the story out there, otherwise I would contemplate it all day.

If you have a suggestion I would love it. I might not change the main name since it already has followers but I would love a more fitting subtitle.
