Well after the end note, I am thoroughly confused! I get that she had cervical cancer and had to have a hysterectomy, and in the bigger scheme of things, she survived and is alive. There are a million options today when it comes to having a family.
Of course, Edward would take it poorly, he'd have to be a saint to do otherwise. I'm confident he'll come around, because he's truly a good person at heart. I don't see how she could have told him any sooner, so ... step up Edward. Show us who you are.

I was gonna give you shit for the comment about it all going downhill after the lemon, but now that I'm at the end, I get it.
You treated Charlie's illness respectfully. I would hope Bella can accept that Charlie was responsible for his death by his drinking choices, and while it hurts to lose him, she had no responsibility for it. Sometimes it does seem like life hands some folks a very large shit sandwich, but in the end, what matters is that we get through it. I like your ending notes as well.

Once again, you shocked me! It never occurred to me that Beth would phase that early. I assumed when Bella got hurt it was Jake. How strange for Bella to go from Beth as a toddler to Beth as a teenager. As a mom of a 15 year old, I'd say that has both advantages and disadvantages. I kinda liked those elementary school years! Anyhoo ... it certainly won't be boring, will it?

Nah, the path you've chosen here makes sense. I never really hated Jake, except when he acts like a selfish child, which he is obviously doing here. If we only have 2 chapters left, things are going to have to happen pretty fast to get any happy ending for Bella and Edward. Where the heck is everyone else out there right now?

It does move fast at the end but that was because I didn't want to drag it out after Bella and Edward both make it back to each other.

Am I reading that Edward lost some of his hearing, not all? I tell you, I must not pay close attention, because I didn't think Jake could seriously hurt Edward. I guess if the pack took down lots of newborns, then it makes sense that Jake could hurt him. Hopefully that's the last we'll hear from him.

Werewolves were designed to kill vampires, so yes Jake could hurt Edward. If he hadn't been cocky he would have killed him before they ever got there, but his playing with Edward was what saved him. Edward has partial hearing loss. He can't hear vampire whispers and quiet human whispers, but anytihng louder than that he can hear.
